First time visitors to this photo studio. We were here to take my daughter's senior year high school photos. The first impression upon entering the building was that it was a very nice set up. There were many very nice photographs on display everywhere. There were also old cameras on display which was a nice touch. It was a good first impression of the business. The two young ladies seated behind the front counter were very friendly and professional and immediately assisted my family and I. GREAT customer service. Approximately ten minutes went by when the photographer assigned to us, Paula sat at our table and we chatted for a few minutes about the photos to be taken and the area we currently reside in which was nice. We were taken to the rear of the large studio and Paula got to work. She is a GREAT photographer and an even nicer person. She was so friendly, funny and down to earth. Paula did her thing as far as taking many, many pics but was also open to our feedback on a few pics. We have yet to see the finished product or pricing so I cannot comment on those two items. My review is simply for my first impression of the studio and the amazing staff. read more

Bob Bronson back in July 1994 took our wedding photos. They were beautiful. We are honored to have our photos still on display at Bronson Photography 30 years later. The studio was featured in the Drew Barrymore/Adam Sandler movie the Wedding Singer and we signed a release to have one of our photos in that movie for a split second. Very disappointed with this company and their pricing. The packages on the website were extremely confusing and misleading. It was not clear at all that for $70+ you are basically paying for ONE photo printed in different sizes. The same issue applied to the other expensive packages as well. When I called, the owner told me that many parents from our preschool contacted him the very next day with the exact same confusion. If dozens of people are calling about the same issue, then clearly the problem is not the parents -- the problem is how the packages and pricing are presented. What upset me even more was the complete lack of customer service. Even after already paying over $70 for a single photo, I was still willing to purchase another package just to have a few different photos of my son. I politely asked if they could offer any small discount or simply send me 2 digital photos by email instead of forcing another overpriced printed package. I even offered to pay directly through Zelle. Every single request was refused. The prices for kindergarten photos are unbelievably high, and there was absolutely no effort to help or find a reasonable solution. This experience felt more like a money grab than a service for families. read more

Had a professional headshot done. The photographer (Jennifer?) was very patient and explained the various options available to me. She was also very accommodating and patient during the photo shoot. Agree with the other comments on school to stop using them... not great quality, overpriced and have to pay additional shipping cost for us pick up pictures at their own business in Montrose. No digital available either... - I did call today, and the lady told me if I order prints and pick them up at your store in Montrose, you still charge a shipping fee because you do not print the pictures there... It was a great experience, The photographer on staff did as many shots as my daughter wanted, and held up a mirror so she could see herself, providing her some feedback to position herself in the best way, she was super! The quality of the photo was clear and good which is more than you get from other "studios". All the staff was excellent and professional, there were so many backgrounds to choose from, and no limit to which ones we could use, and it was clean and private. I was happily surprised since we went because it was mandated by high school. If you looking for a one-stop shop this is it. I have already recommended them to others. Great photos are pricey, so I don't find their prices out of the normal. I really appreciated our experience there and THANK YOU to the amazing staff! read more

God awful pictures. This old aged establishment somehow has the support from every school in the area which forces students to go here and get old fashioned photos. The simple white background looks like it's taken in a hospital. The workers do not know how to tell anyone to pose and i suggest they simply hold up a mirror and click the camera because any time their directions are followed you will look awful. Their backgrounds are so odd with some ceasers palace looking backdrop which ruined my daughters senior portraits which she wasn't allowed to pick where she wanted to be photographed. Also, there is no consistency with how many pictures or backdrops students get. We all pay the same and get less or more pictures depending on god knows what. Find a normal company save yourself the time and self humiliation. read more

They are great photographers, very creative, and very talented, however they are overpriced but their work is still very good.

We hired Bronson to take professional portraits at our college's Career Fair, so students could use their photos for their LinkedIn profiles. Gary and his team were consummate professionals in every way, and made the entire process so simple - plus our students' photos turned out great! We will definitely work with them again. read more

My daughter had to have some pictures taken. I liked the studio. There are places to sit while you wait. LOVE looking at the photo albums and pictures on the walls on display. Prices are pretty pricey. Thank goodness they had several packages to choose from, but still expensive. Retouching services at an additional cost unless you purchase a package which includes it. Plenty of free parking in the back of the studio; otherwise, metered parking out in front. The only thing I didn't like was how the photographer kept on touching my daughters hair and placing it the way we don't like. PLEASE don't do that! We like it styled that way!! I think we would have liked the pictures more if we liked how her hair was placed. Every time we moved it back, she would move it to the way she liked it. How annoying is that?!?! I think that effected my daughters mood which in turn affected her smiles. read more

This will be the 4th time using Bronson Photography. Due to the Covid aftermath, our youngest son's college was not offering graduation photos, so we decided to go back to his high school's studio, Bronson Photography, and get his pictures taken locally.  Excellent communication and follow-up through my initial inquiry, and the photographer was great to work with during his photo session. Just got my daughter's school photos back and I was very disappointed! There was a green reflection in her glasses in the picture. For the good amount of money that I spent, you would think that that they would of caught that mistake and corrected it before they mailed them out to me. read more

My son's senior portraits came out great. They don't charge a sitting fee and you don't have to purchase. If you want to print yourself, buy the digital image but their printing is top notch and includes retouches. My son took his mountain bike into the studio as well. If you want outside photos, they will come to you for an additional fee. Customer service was great. Online program worked well and easy to navigate. You can compare your favorites. I sent an email with a question after hours and Gary called just before 9am the next day to discuss. I highly recommend. This is a professional photography studio, not one you find in the mall. I read the comments on the school photos. You have to be realistic. They are snapping tons of kids photos lined up and the kids don't always care. They have always done my kids school photos and always take more than one for you to choose the best. Sometimes the parents helping on photo day aren't that helpful either. They do their best but don't expect a studio portrait for a grade school photo on campus. They do offer a digital image so you can save it on your cloud forever or print yourself. This is a lovely family run business in Montrose that provides great work. read more

I wanted to get a senior portrait for my son and chose Bronson, as I'd had good luck with them in the past. I called and scheduled my son to have a senior photo session with Jennifer. I can only describe the experience as magical. My son usually doesn't like sitting for photos, and yet she brought out the very best in him. She took wonderful photos with a variety of backgrounds and now I'm having difficulty choosing my favorites as they are all just that excellent. Thankfully they have an option for purchasing all of the photos on a digital format so we don't have to select just one or two from the many amazing pics with shirt/tie (Jennifer even tied his tie for us!) and cap/gown. They even had a diploma prop. My son is extremely happy and I am beyond thrilled!! Jennifer knocked it out of the park! Bronson is the place to go for amazing photos!!! read more

I used to live in the Glendale area and moved to Colorado. However, I always knew of the great reputation Bronson Photography had and had seen many photographs done by them. My daughter was home-schooled, and therefore, we never really did any professional graduation pictures for her. But while visiting old friends in our old neighborhood, decided she should have her graduation pictures taken at Bronson, while in the area. We are SO glad we waited to come back to Glendale to have these once in a life-time pictures taken. They came out beautiful. The colors enhanced my daughters natural beauty and I couldn't have asked for any better results. The staff is also exceptional at Bronson, and make us feel welcome and important.
