This place does not want your business. They take about a month to finish your work and then on a Saturday they post a note on the door that says they are sorry but they don't open till 11 AM. This is terrible. You cannot trust when they will be open or closed. Do not use this business. They do not earn your business. Their reputation is lazy. read more

My first impression dropping off my 3 dresses was fine although I was not given a total price for the work to be done. One dress needed the side seems taken in, the other two were just fixing a hem. It ended up being WAY more than I had anticipated and surely rivaled the place by Willowbrook that we typically use (and thought were overpriced). But my biggest problem with this place was no one mentioned they do not accept credit cards when I dropped my items off, so it was a complete surprise to find that out at check out. I had cash on me, but because it was was more than anticipated, I didn't have enough. Embarrassing. Oh, but they DO take checks! Seriously LOL. My second beef is the place smelled like smoke. It didn't the day I dropped off, but it reeked on day of pickup. Unacceptable. The actual tailoring job they did was done well, so for that I gave the 3 stars. read more

This is a mom and pop kinda store! Andy is the tailor and Kathy, his wife, runs the show! They're amazing at what they do! I've had my pants hemmed, beads on expensive tops and dresses replaced, dresses taken in.. not to mention bridesmaids dress and my wedding gown! This is my go-to alteration stop. I live in Pearland and I would drive all the way to Tomball just to get things done. My sister-in-law is a tiny girl and when she got married they fixed her wedding gown. She received her gown as a gift but it was a size 10 and she was a size 2. We were so afraid that if we altered the dress and since it was such a dramatic change, it would alter the look of the dress.. but Andy reassured us and a few weeks later, when she tried it on again, it fit PERFECTLY. You couldn't even tell that it was altered! It looked like it was made for her! Not to mention, the prices are reasonable. So, if you love your clothes and want a quality fix, this is so the place for you! read more

I took my bag to get some stitches and the lady and she said we'll see if our machine will be able to penetrate the bag if not we'll let u know. A week passed by n she didn't bother to call me to say they weren't able to fix it. I had to call for her to tell me the small machine couldn't penetrate it n she will try the big one n call me back. She did call back to tell me they weren't able to fix it. Why didn't they try the bigger machine before I called to follow u. I'm upset that she didn't bother to call me to let me know they weren't to fix it and on top of that when I pick up my bag they had ripped the edges more. She claims that it was like that n it was not because I was there when I gave it to her n flipped inside out. I made sure nothing was ripped. I will never come back here. There was no communication and urgency to inform me they weren't able to do it or pick it up. read more

I will never understand how a business operating in 2019 can sustain itself when they don't accept debit/credit cards. Do people still carry their check book with them? Who carries cash anymore. I've been wanting to write this for awhile now.. first of all this place reeks of smoke. Which obviously soaks into your clothes and fabric inside the store. I took a pair of suit paints to get hemmed and 3 months later both the hems fell out on the pants. Not to mention THEY ONLY TAKE CASH . Which is inconvenient for customers obviously, but what's more inconvenient is that don't tell you up front. Ignoring that fact, the tailoring work is just not very good, and priced above competitors. Think twice before choosing this tailor. read more

My bridesmaid dress ended up perfect. It was lace and needed a lot of alterations and I had to get it hemmed, taken in in the sides, the bust, the shoulders and the back. The hem he had to take off the trim, hem it and then attach the trim again and it had 2 layers. It was very reasonably priced as well and would've been so much more elsewhere and you can't even tell it was altered. read more

I got 2 shirts and a coat altered. They did a good job on them except for a couple of things. The total was $56.50, I handed her $60 dollars and she nervously told me my change was .70 cents when my change should have been $3.50. I was planning on tipping her anyways so I didn't say anything about her only giving me .70 cents back. Also, I kept telling her I wanted one of my shirts to be very fitting and tighter. But when I got the shirt back and tried it on at home, it still seemed very big and flowy. Other than that, she was very friendly and did an amazing job hemming my long coat. This local tailor worked wonders for me. After going in for an estimate, and given a wait time (I went during prom week) to get my coat tailored for a banquet I had. They worked well with me and gave me an earlier completion date than expected, as my banquet was on the completion date and it was out of town. I am super dissatisfied with the customer service I received from this store. When I dropped off the dress I asked for a price of the service. She was unable to provide this for me. She said she would call me with one. Never received that phone call. Called a few days before it was supposed to be ready and still no price and couldn't tell me when it was going to be ready. Still waiting for yet another phone call with the ready time and the price. Two days later I call and gives me the price and I am shocked so say the least.
