My order is wrong almost every time I come here. This time I was actually mad because I ordered a concrete with espresso, caramel, and coconut. I received one with espresso, chocolate, and cookie dough. I really don't like chocolate so this was upsetting. read more

I wasn't thinking about ice cream or custard as I drove through Jonesboro. What made me stop here, to be honest, was the cool design of this custard stand. The streamlined look of this place is inviting and it served as a great excuse to order some custard dessert (of which I can't remember the name). Later, I did a web search on Andy's and was pleasantly surprised that this isn't the only fun design. If I lived in the area, Andy's would get my repeat business based on architectural merit alone (although the custard thing was certainly good, too). read more

Where do I begin?! First off, thank you Andy's for my first experience with frozen custard! I love it! As an ice cream connoisseur, I can vouch for the fact that Andy's Frozen Custard is AWESOME!! I've tried and loved the strawberry shortcake concrete, the basic vanilla cup, but I keep coming back for the root beer float! ... SO GOOD, it's made to perfection! Man, I love me some Andy's from the first time I tried this place a few years back I fell in love. The last time I visited Jonesboro I was there for 10 days I visited Andy's at least 7 times and had two orders of what ever I wanted each time. I took all my grandkids with me and bought them 2nds of what they wanted. Whenever I talk to my grandchildren I mention Andy's and tell them iam taking them there when I see them again. read more

It is just very very good. One of my favorite things there is called the Clerific or the dirt and worms.

Andys usually has great customer service at this location. Tonight was the exact opposite. The blond girl at the window was very rude and standoffish. I had 2 mistakes in my order and when I asked for replacements, she snatched them and came back to hand them over without saying anything else or even simply saying have a good night...if this is the way Andy's employees will act, I won't be back. read more

Dang, I usually hate that 3 star rating. It really says meh, this place is average. 3.5 would probably be a bit more correct for this place. *Okay after conferring with my daughter, 3-3.5 is about right* We just happened to stop by because it lights up the street it's so bright. We were drawn in by the lights like Carol Anne. They had many suggestions so we all got something different. I was okay with it and then based off of the lack of oohs and ahhs from the back seat, I'm sure the kids were just okay also. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Andy's! Hey, here's the thing... I can trick myself into thinking it's healthy cause it's technically not ice cream. I know I'm lying to myself, but who cares. I have tried several things from here but my all time favorite is the praline pecan stuff. Holy moly it's good. When my son was 1 yr old we learned that he had a peanut allergy. It was pretty serious. Like, he could die, serious. So the poor child could never have anything from Baskin Robbins or any other ice cream shop. But Andy's would specially make him a cup of custard in a sterile way so that he could have 'ice cream' without us having to worry that he was going to die. That was years ago and we have learned since then that he grew out of his peanut allergies. But we still go to Andy's! Not only did we're they able to treat my child to a great, safe cup of the cold stuff - they also provided a great product that cannot be matched. I highly recommend Andy's. They will meet all your ice cream/custard cravings at a reasonable price. And if you or your child has a peanut allergy just tell them and they'll make sure it's safe. I've been here plenty, and love it every time. For those who aren't familiar with custard, it's rich, thick ice cream with extra egg yolks, which make it denser, smoother, and it stays cold longer. My only complaint is the prices, but quality isn't cheap, and this stuff is definitely quality! Try it and you'll get hooked. read more

Good lord, I've never seen a building lit up like this one. Its exterior has a remarkable resemblance to a bright UFO. My guess is every time they plug in their lights they drain half of the electricity in Arkansas. Needless to say, this place caught my attention while driving by late one night. And after more than one visit I got really addicted to their frozen custard ice cream. I'm not up on the terminology, is frozen custard not considered ice cream? I don't know. Now I don't know why more folks weren't visiting during the month of February. Maybe an outside temperature of 45 degrees is considered too cold to get ice cream in Arkansas. But back home up north I've been known to make ice cream runs when the temp drops to 5 degrees. It's never too cold for ice cream. Correction, it's never too cold for frozen custard. read more

I'm not the biggest fan of Andy's, I like it, it's just not my favorite place to go. The plain ice cream cones are good and the chocolate milkshake at this location was better than at the other one. That is one nice thing, two locations on opposite sides of town so you don't have drive far to get to one! There's a ton of options so I'm sure anyone could find something they like. One of their *things* is that they make new ice cream every hour so it's always fresh but it makes me wonder how much they waste? read more

I just wanted a simple dish of vanilla custard with sprinkles. First the sign says you can't get toppings on a dish or cone, which is ridiculous b/c after scooping ice cream for 7 years while in high school and college, I know you can. So they told me I had to get a "sundae" to get a topping. Ok. Well I ended up with a dish of sprinkles with a little ice cream. The sprinkle to ice cream ratio was definitely 3:1. And the sprinkles were really bad crunchy plasticy tasting. So I clearly ordered wrong, lesson learned. Next time, just plain ice cream. read more
