Great Food and service. They make Their own noodles and cook to order. We had beef and chicken ramen

So wanting to grab lunch close by, this was only 4 minutes away, located in downtown Jonesboro. There is no dine in or even entering the restaurant if you want to place an order. The guy that took my order was on the phone taking order and mines at the same time! I had to repeat what I ordered. I got the lamb dumpling and the seafood shaomai and Takoyaki. I asked how long it will take when my order still has not come out. His 8 to 15 minutes became 30 min in the heat with no seatings or shade. I was about to walk off when I realized that if the food comes out, I'll have less then 20 minutes to eat it while driving back to work. I actually got a sunburn on my shoulders from standing out there. I read good reviews of this place but after trying it, I can say that I enjoyed the Takoyaki more then the lamb dumpling or seafood shaomai. The lamb dumpling wrapper didn't taste fresh made. Kinds of taste like the frozen one you get to reheat in the microwave for a quick snack. If you don't live in a big city and had many options to choose from for good dumplings and to compare to, this place is ok. I would recommend instead of barricading the front entrance with a long table, out of courtesy for your customer to at least stand inside to wait for their take out. It was blazing hot outside to wait for take out.

Very yummy ramen! I had been dying to try this place and finally did. Great service, great prices, and great food. The chicken ramen was very good. The crab buns were okay, but I might try a different one next time. I would definitely eat here again.

The food and service here was amazing! My entire lunch was under $10 including drink, and I was struggling to finish my order! The person running the front was very polite and kept on top of letting me know when my order would be ready. If I'm ever back in Jonesboro, this is one of my must-stop places to eat!

The restaurant is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a traditional Chinese touch that even changes with the seasons. The manager is incredibly nice! I had a large to-go order, and he had someone help carry everything out to my car! I really appreciate that level of service, it really stands out. Their dim sum is definitely the BEST in town. I highly recommend the siu mai and the dry beef rice noodle. The siu mai are huge and super juicy, and the beef rice noodle has that perfect smoky, charred aroma from high-heat stir-frying! They are truly the King of Dim Sum!

The carts carrying small dishes of delicious tasting morsels, sort of a tapas experience with Chinese food rather than Spanish. The food is solid if not spectacular. The ambiance reminds me so much of my experiences in Hong Kong. Not to mention the good housekeeping seal of approval when you see how many Chinese and Asians are there dining! If the people who know what 'real Chinese cooking' is all about are eating there, you know you are getting as close to the real thing as possible. Friendly staff will help you on ordering if you ask, but as a rule they will assume you know what you want when you sit down. If you are unfamiliar just ask. I've never had any issues getting answers. So, if you are looking for 'real' Chinese food, served in a unique way, please check out Dim Sum King...but be careful. The plates are small and the food is delicious but don't get too carried away trying everything because it is surprisingly filling. Which is nice because you'll want to come back again.

I loved the Thai Curry Shrimp Wontons but they aren't as shareable as I was expecting. I was thinking they'd be special dumplings but it was more like a dumpling soup. I really liked the Ma Po Tofu which was unexpected because I usually don't like tofu. But this tofu was super soft and decently flavorful. The Egg Drop Soup was very flavorful and doesn't have the weird aftertaste that some of them have. I wasn't as impressed with the Ma La chicken as I hoped so I wouldn't get that for myself again but everything else was delicious and I'd get it all again. The Vietnamese Coffee was really cool. It reminded me of one I'd read about recently in a book about Vietnamese restaurants. Surprise, I'm a nerd. It was cool to experience IRL something I'd just been reading about. The Thai Iced Tea though was not my thing. My friend who is into that specific type of tea said it was really good so please listen to her, not me since I am really weird about tea. For our meal, we ordered the spicy chicken with white rice, which was flavorful and freshly prepared. Everything arrived hot and tasted delicious. We also started with the crab wontons as an appetizer, which were my personal favorite. To top it all off, I received a complimentary birthday dessert--a chocolate cake--which was absolutely delicious and a very thoughtful touch. Overall, the food was fresh and well prepared, but the outstanding service truly made the night special. Kudos to Josh for making the experience so memorable. PRICE: As a patron for nearly 15 years, the prices continue to (dramatically) rise beyond the point of justification. Appetizers reach nearly $17 for six (6) crab wontons and dinner entrees $20+. So, it's no longer a restaurant I'd recommend as a "go to." However, if affordability is not a factor for you, I can guarantee your meal will be delicious! LOCATION/PARKING: The Ridgeway Rd site is located directly in front of a local shopping mall and is surrounded by several upscale dining establishments (Seasons 52, Capital Grille, Ruth Chris, etc.). There's plenty of free parking conveniently on all sides of the restaurant. AMBIANCE: This location has steady foot traffic. Service is busy without being overwhelming. The atmosphere is dimly lit and cleanly. Staff are always kind and attentive. FOOD: As I said before, my deductions are certainly not food related. From appetizer to dessert, I've never had a bad dish from P.F. Chang's. I will say - - the popular dishes are popular for a reason. So, it's okay to believe the hype around the Lettuce Wraps, Dumplings, Mongolian Beef, etc. For those looking to go without breaking the bank, I recommend planning ahead. Try to go at Happy Hour to take advantage of discounted prices and don't be afraid to ask your server about Chef's Feast for 2 and other set menu discounts.
