I was very impressed with his website and portfolio, so my fiance and I set up a meeting with him. During that meeting with Rob, we were blown away about how much he knows about photography. You could tell he has a passion for this. My fiance(now husband) wanted to book Rob right away, but I didnt want to put all our eggs in one basket right away. We met with another solo photographer who could not even compare to Rob and we met with a big box company who insulted us and really just tried to sell their "made in italy" custom books, not the photography. Rob was always prompt with getting back to me as I had a lot questions and he explained everything. Our engagement session was a blast and when I saw the proofs, they were just perfect! Before the wedding, Rob was in touch with us and suggested an alternate site for wedding pictures. When we drove by, I fell in love with it! However, due to the heat on our wedding date, we went back to the bar my fiance (husband) met at and Rob was completely on board! The week of the wedding called us and we were able to discuss day of planning and we were all on the same page! For the day of, Rob and his crew were on time and started snapping away! He was professional, but fun to work with! I can't wait to see the pictures!!!! We also used his digital photo booth which was something new as the "strips" are emailed to the parties instead of printed out. Some of the pictures I took with friends turned out okay, but some were really dark which was disappointing. Overall, his price is reasonable for the area and I always believe you get what you pay for with photography. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the industry, is easy to talk to and provides a great product.

She recently opened her studio here in Batavia and had some spring portraits with a beautiful setup in studio so my friend and I brought our kids here (my friend has used her before). The studio has GORGEOUS lighting; my appointment was at 10 on an early spring day and there was a beautiful glow throughout. She has different areas to use for different shoots, as well as variety of furniture and props. Olena was very welcoming and pleasant to work with. I would use her again. Parking is available either on the street (along the bridge) or in the parking lot behind the building. There are signs that are written as though you would need a permit to park here but I was told that just means it's for the businesses in the building. Parking in front will get you on the level of the studio, and if you park in the lot you'll need to take the stairs up or walk around to the front of the building.

We were scrambling to find a photographer for our infant son. Tricia was always someone on my radar, but her location out in Geneva (we live in Chicago) always seemed prohibitive for us. My husband even agrees whole-heartedly - we will be heading out to Geneva for our photos from now on. Our little newborn Ella was 9 days old when I realized how important it was to photograph her in all the newborn goodness. I was always pretty judgemental about those "baby in a basket" sessions. You don't really get how unique that time in life is until you hold your own little child in your hands. I discovered you've got to photograph newborns within 14 days of their birth, otherwise it gets difficult for them to stay sleepy and stationary for a photo session. I had a minor meltdown trying to reach an incredible, well-known newborn photographer from Wisconsin. They did get a hold of me, but said I needed to come to Wisconsin with the baby for the session because of their busy schedule. They also recommended Patricia Anderson here in Chicago. I was elated to hear back from Patricia that evening. Patricia had a full schedule, but after **slightly** begging her, she fit me into her weekend schedule and we got Ella scheduled for a session at 11 days young. **AH** thank you thank you! Patricia is so easy to work with. She handles everything once you get to the studio. She took baby Ella and all we had to do was watch in amazement as the 1 hour mini session unfolded. Turn around was quick - we were able to see the photographs the same week. Man, did she deliver! And her print products are so fitting to her brand - you've got to get these photographs up on your wall! Seriously - it's the only way to go with artistic photographs that Patricia creates for you. I couldn't stop staring at them! We later started our search looking for a wedding photographer. This is no small feat. I learned that just because someone is a photographer doesn't mean they do weddings. I checked into several photographers and did thorough research. When I called Artlynn, I spoke to Jeff. He was professional, helpful and very friendly. I had many questions and he answered them all. He encouraged me to come into the studio to look at their work in person. So, I came in the next day (conveniently located) and was absolutely wowed by the photo work displayed in the studio along with the photo albums I got to look at. The pictures are clear, so much so, I felt like I was actually there in the scene. Now, that's talent. The pictures online don't do them enough justice, definitely go pay them a visit. When my fiancee was available, he came to see the photos for himself. Like me, he was impressed. Jeff once again was friendly and took time with us along with being very accommodating which we appreciated. We were glad our wedding date was available as it is a popular date. We are also relieved because Artlynn has done photography at our wedding venue many many times so they are familiar with the place which we know will be to our advantage. Things got a little confusing in the paperwork process. We would talk to Jeff but when it came to receiving contract documents or messages through email, it came from Anthony. When responding to Anthony's email, I would get a reply to talk to Jeff. A suggestion I would make is that if we are dealing with Jeff, then it should be him throughout the whole process and the same process with Anthony. I shared this information with Jeff. All were friendly and gave their opinions on the venue and vendors that I mentioned. They were helpful and courteous. Tony was my photographer at the suggestion of one of the ladies. He was great. He showed up early, got great pictures, and I had the proofs within two days. The price was much less than the Edward Fox outfit which I thought was a bit snobby and overpriced. I am thrilled at my choice.
