I had fun exploring several rooms of art, furniture, collectibles, home goods, clothes, jewelry, decorations, and much more. There were so many unique and show stopping pieces. I loved the sweet botanicals at the Enchanted Forest, an Egyptian sarcophagus and chest, a playful monkey crawling across a bar, and the vintage cookie jars and glassware. The prices seemed very reasonable and the lovely ladies who were working were on hand to help but also left me free to explore as I prefer. Chuckles is owned by husband and wife, Jerry and Mary. Last year they moved from Bridge Avenue to around the corner on Dixie Highway south of Bridge Ave. They are now located in Hobe Sound's charming shopping district. This is the coolest store. It is crammed with unique items around ever corner. How about a giant Egyptian statue or a King Tut sarcophagus bookcase? Maybe a bobcat taxidermy. The furniture was gorgeous and so was the art. You could lose all track of time browsing the multiple rooms of books that would make Belle weep with joy. This is the kind of store that makes you want everything.
