He confirmed he was interested, asked for property details and said he would provide a comparable market analysis the following day to determine the value of the property. That was a month ago and although I provided my email address and phone number, I never heard back from him. I completely understand that vacant land sales are not that profitable for realtors; for example, if the property sells for $10,000 and the listing agent it entitled to 3%, that amounts to $300 which is not worth the trouble for most Listing Agents, but to leave a potential customer hanging, is unprofessional and unacceptable. After all, I may have other residential and/or commercial properties to sell in the near future but would not consider doing business with this Agent. Fortunately, I received a referral to another Agent and we worked out a $2,000 flat fee arrangement to handle the sale. Received a full price offer in five days with a 10-day escrow.

I received my security deposit today, 4/4/25 - the condition of the carpets in the apartment was not updated and I have pictures prior to move in and upon move out. He charged me $200 for cleaning and then texted me some bogus claims for why I was charged this, on carpet that was already in bad condition and should have replaced before I moved in. What was normal wear and tear according to California laws for rentals, they billed me for it. I messaged the property management company and received no response. This is deceitful and lacks integrity. Find another company if you're looking to rent or buy in the area.
