However, I don't live in the area and over time it became an albatross to keep up with. I wasn't even sure how to go about getting it sold. I was amazed to discover how much he thought we could get for the place and how his team went on to ensure that it happened. They can also assist with every detail: we needed storage for some items and appliances and they provided it free of charge. They even hauled some things away for donation! Another time one of the members drove about almost an hour away to get a key for the community gate that was needed to show the property. I contacted Thomas Paulauskas to inquire if he was interested in serving as my Listing Agent for a 2.5 acre vacant piece of land in Lancaster, California. He confirmed he was interested, asked for property details and said he would provide a comparable market analysis the following day to determine the value of the property. That was a month ago and although I provided my email address and phone number, I never heard back from him. I completely understand that vacant land sales are not that profitable for realtors; for example, if the property sells for $10,000 and the listing agent it entitled to 3%, that amounts to $300 which is not worth the trouble for most Listing Agents, but to leave a potential customer hanging, is unprofessional and unacceptable. After all, I may have other residential and/or commercial properties to sell in the near future but would not consider doing business with this Agent. After much thinking and a previous reply back from this guy saying "he needs a better game plan for guys like me in a tough spot" lowered the review from 2 to 1 star. I got cold feet and wanted to cancel the sale of my home, he was representing the seller and buyer and first step according to him would have been court for being sued. Now know that wouldnt have happened directly from the buyers so this guy didnt want to do the extra work and miss out on a double pay check. Its water under the bridge at this point really but the more I get to meet professionals in this industry the more I realize this guy sucks, the contractors he sets you up with suck, what sucks you in is him fronting everything. His network is vast as I said in last review but in the market we have lived in for years, the houses have been selling themselves. Learned the hard way but learned none the less. I could not have imagined having a better representative than Thomas Paulauskas! His group represented us in the sale of our home. I can't say enough wonderful things about Thomas. We had 2 houses to sell, one in the $550,000.00 range, and one in the $335,000.00 range. We feel so fortunate that we found Thomas and his team to help us sell the houses as quickly as possible.
