She gave me a note diagnosing my daughter with "Fever" Allow me to share our experience: This Monday 5/10/21 my daughter was sent home from school stated we need a doctors note before she can come back to school or else she has to stay 10 days at home. That same day we went to the pediatrician, I walked in there the receptionist wasn't wearing a mask, I didn't wear one either, nor my daughter. The nurse called us into the room, waited there until Dr Garcia come. She did her normal routine with my daughter, when she did. Everything was ok, until she asked if my daughter and I have taken the Covid Vaccine. I told her that we didn't want to and don't see the need of it. She turned around and had changed her attitude towards me and my daughter, asking where is my mask? How did you get in here. I told her I have a hard time breathing with it on don't need it. She went out to the front desk and start yelling at the nurse and receptionist. The nurse came in and did the Immediate Antigen test result swap and the PCR test swab. Waited for 15 min for the Immediate test. The Doctor came in and showed me the result and said she had tested positive. The PCR test will be sent to Alabama won't get result until 48 hrs. I asked her who's test result does she have on her hand? How would I know it's my daughters, I asked her to redo the test in front of me to duplicate the same result. (It could have been a strep throat test; wouldn't have known.) She told the nurse that she can only do it once, and if I wanted to, I have to pay $100 for the test. I agreed to it, waited for a while didn't see her return, my daughter was frightened, and cried she said "mommy can we please leave I don't want to stay here anymore, I'm sacred." I respected her decision. I walked out the room with my daughter, I told Doctor Garcia that was sitting upfront that my daughter wanted to leave. she said your "whole family have to be quarantine can't go anywhere.. then she said "just leave" Got a call from health department yesterday (5/11,2021) and I told her I don't trust that clinic, that's not my daughter result. She told me to come for the PCR Test if I didn't trust them. I had my daughter and son stay home from school to go to the health department (5/12/2021) covid testing center to get the PCR test. Come to know it, she called same day (5/12/2021)and told us my daughter test is negative, and she will send me the letter for clearance for my daughter to come back to school. What is this a joke? Enough is enough, we should not have to tolerate this. I talked to the health department today (5/14/2021) they said my son and daughter are clear to return to school, even after the first negative PCR test because I took my kids to get a second test they would have wait until result come again. My daughter has missed many days of school and a lot of work and test if any. Driving to and from schools and health department too. Yet she didn't even have the decency to call and apologize for what she had put my family through! The Anigen test was to Detect SARS-Cov-2 and the more accurate one is the PCR test. Therefore the Antigen test has to be a false positive because the PCR test is a more accurate test and the detection level is higher. "The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is alerting clinical laboratory staff and health care providers that false positive results can occur with antigen tests, including when users do not follow the instructions for use of antigen tests for the rapid detection of SARS-CoV-2. Generally, antigen tests are indicated for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigens in authorized specimen types collected from individuals who are suspected of COVID-19 by their healthcare provider within a certain number of days of symptom onset." Very unprofessional I would never recommend this clinic to anyone.

We had seen them in January with no issues! The main and only doctor there,, Dr. Y has left the practice although he's listed on the website. No communication to their patients about him leaving. We were only told about it when we asked about the bill we received. There was no mention of the PNP who she saw when making the appointment of not accepting this major insurance when we visited. We are now saddled with $275 bill. Staff was super rude and brushed us off. Told us to speak to our insurance company about it and proceeded to interact with other people in the background and ignore me on the phone. Avoid at all costs! Literally.

When we arrived, they were already running about 30 minutes behind, and then an emergency came up. I completely understood the situation and was very patient and understanding. What was incredibly frustrating, however, was being told that they could not get my child back in at our usual location for over a month. At that point, I had no choice but to cancel appointments for my other children as well and let them know we will never be back since this is the norm. After being a patient of this doctor for 19 years, it is extremely disappointing to feel like we can no longer get the care and accessibility our family needs. I was…read moreimpressed with Dr. Oles when I did the tour at the office before had my baby and in comparison to the other pediatric place near by, I enjoyed this place more. This is their 2nd location so it's smaller and usually only has 2 pediatricians on site. The lobby is open and clean, the front desk MA usually greets us using our child's name, which I'm very pleased with because it makes us feel familiar and comfortable. The check up rooms are small with very few equipments (bed, 2-3 chairs, scale and sanitizer container) and no sink to wash our hands or the doctor's, hopefully they'll improve that in the near future. Our scheduled well visit usually doesn't take longer than an hour and a half. The medical assistants do all the prep work on the child, weigh, measure, triage before the doctor comes in. Dr. Oles is very quick, almost too quick..sometimes! I had to slow her down and ask questions so we could have a better understanding of the diagnosis at our last appointment. I do feel like they rush us out of the office at some of our appointments but I suppose that's normal in all doctors offices, nowadays. I would recommend this office if your baby doesn't get sick often and you enjoy the express lane check up.

She is rude and a know it all. Last time I checked, you go to a Pediatrician to insure your child's health. Not for parental advice of any kind unless you as the parent have a question about something in particular! We have a 2 year old child. *She told us that we are 100% wrong for having her in a crib. She should have been in a normal bed at 18 months. (Asked her nothing about this and she will stay in her crib till we as her parents see fit) *she said we are wrong for her still having a pacifier when sleeping because WE are ruining her teeth (again did not ask for her input these are things she brought up on her own) *We said she OCCASIONALLY has juice. (Again she brought this up her self) She replied that we need to stop that because we will rot her teeth. Our child has perfectly strong white teeth that she brushes every single day. (She will continue to have juice when we see fit) Lastly.... If you want to get the covid vaccine, that is your right/choice.... just as It is our right/choice not to get it. She pretty much said that if we cared about our child's safety we needed to get the vaccine.
