Unfortunately, our experience with Angel Kids has been extremely disappointing. It has become nearly impossible to get an appointment when our children actually need to be seen. Today, I drove 35 minutes from our home to another Angel Kids location for my two-year-old's well-child check. When we arrived, they were already running about 30 minutes behind, and then an emergency came up. I completely understood the situation and was very patient and understanding. What was incredibly frustrating, however, was being told that they could not get my child back in at our usual location for over a month. At that point, I had no choice but to cancel appointments for my other children as well and let them know we will never be back since this is the norm. After being a patient of this doctor for 19 years, it is extremely disappointing to feel like we can no longer get the care and accessibility our family needs. Unfortunately, we will be finding another pediatrician. If you are looking for a pediatrician, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

This is a review about Nemours scheduling system ONLY. It is the worst for several reasons!…read more 1) it takes several weeks (over a month for sure) to get an appointment. You can NOT call and schedule it right away. You call, leave a message and wait weeks to get a return call to schedule the appointment. And this takes an extra 2-3 weeks for your child to be seen by any doctor. 2) after the first appointment you can NOT schedule a follow-up visit at the clinic. You need to wait AGAIN for someone to call you to schedule it. And this takes weeks... 3) If you need to cancel your appointment, you must do before 48hrs otherwise you will pay a fee. HOWEVER, they can cancel your appointment even 1 hour prior to your scheduled time (it just happened with us). Then the whole waiting story begins all over again..

This is their 2nd location so it's smaller and usually only has 2 pediatricians on site. The lobby is open and clean, the front desk MA usually greets us using our child's name, which I'm very pleased with because it makes us feel familiar and comfortable. The check up rooms are small with very few equipments (bed, 2-3 chairs, scale and sanitizer container) and no sink to wash our hands or the doctor's, hopefully they'll improve that in the near future. Our scheduled well visit usually doesn't take longer than an hour and a half. The medical assistants do all the prep work on the child, weigh, measure, triage before the doctor comes in. Dr. Oles is very quick, almost too quick..sometimes! I had to slow her down and ask questions so we could have a better understanding of the diagnosis at our last appointment. I do feel like they rush us out of the office at some of our appointments but I suppose that's normal in all doctors offices, nowadays.
