W I visited Angel Nails on Friday, June 30 and was cursed at by the owner. I explained to the lady before I left that my nails were not smooth. I left and came back for my nails to be corrected because I should have asked her to redo them before I left but I had a hair appointment right after. My stylist told me that she could do me anytime so I went back to get my nails fixed. I went in and told the owner my nails needed some correction. She said I told you before you left that your nails were not smooth. My response was ma'am I've gotten gel nails plenty of time. In my mind I'm thinking isn't that's what a buffer is for. She said she would add another coat to smooth it out. I said ma'am"There's no way it can be smoothed out." So I held my hands up for her to see and I'm sure others do it as well because by now they can hear us. Her response was"I said I'll correct them. What the hell you want me to do?" I was in awe because I've never had a business owner where I'm spending my money to curse me out. She cursed in front of everyone in the salon. I did not once curse her out but explained how unprofessional she was. I asked for the owner's number. She said she didn't care I could have it. Then she said no I couldn't have it and for me to leave my number and she would give it to them. Then I said I will ask another worker for it. She responded and said no one in here can give you the owner's number. From my understanding she is the owner but instead she told me she was the manager. I left out and came back in and asked if the other employee could do my nails. The guy scraped the polish off of my nails, soaked my nails, buffed them down and redid my nails. He was very neat and took his time to ensure that my nails were smooth. I appreciate him correcting my nails and being professional, but I will never return ti this salon and patronize anyone who will curse me out and think it's acceptable for someone to leave their salon with nails that looked like this and then give you a hard time about correcting them! The owner or manager had serious mental illness!!! She goes off and kicks people out for no reason. Mostly African Americans so maybe it's Mental illness and racial discrimination I'm not sure but they'll never get a dime of my money again. Also they charge whatever they choose. Walked into the shop and the guy at the front table asked what service I needed. I explained that I wanted gel polish removed from my nails. Some lady comes out of nowhere and repeats the question and explained something about polish removal. Then, she told me to follow her to a chair. Finally, another man came from the back and serviced me. Didn't take long but, just a Horrible vibe in the shop. I won't ever go back to this nail shop. Service and quality was poor . I get ingrown nails really bad so I make sure to go get them maintenanced often. This past sunday, the pain was so bad so I went to get a full set and pedicure. Was so happy with my full set and have been getting compliments all day on them! Go to the gym come home, shower and now my right big toe is killing me. I look down at it and it's behind swollen on one side and is oozing out green puss. So thanks for the fabulous nails and the foot fungus :) read more

MY TOES ARE UGLY AF!!! The man nipped tf out my toes each and every one of them! Toes just burning when he sprayed them. Then BK acted as if I was bothering her with my complaints and offered to put fake nails on but I came IN WITH REAL TOENAILS! No ma'am! i do not recommend. it took 2 hours to get my sisters pedi and my moms mani. that was ridiculous. and there are beds in the back and my assumption was that the workers live there. and 2 workers were eating the supper while we were still there at a little table in the hallway. read more

I only reason I gave a star is because a nice woman asked if I wanted some water after I sat down. I'm not from around here and was looking for a good place to get my nails done. I'm very particular about beauty services because I'm a professional myself. A few weeks ago, I ended up getting a skinny Asian guy, can't remember his name but he didn't do my services professionally nor the correct way. My pedicure wasn't good at all, he was too rough. I don't even think they sanitized it before me. When he did my nails he was too fast with the drill and close to my skin when I told him, he got an attitude. He kept blowing the excess acrylic dust which got on me several times. In this business you never blow on anything, that's unsanitary. He used a paper towel to get the rest of acrylic dust off at the end. He had no cloth towel underneath my hands the entire time, the table was dirty, he got acrylic and gel polish on my skin, he did a horrible job. He was rushing because he said he was "losing money" while he was doing my nails when another group of pedicures came in. He kept saying stuff under his breath. I will never return here. Way over priced to be way unprofessional. I rather had went to a nail "chop" shop then here. read more

First time going and just moved to Albany Georgia. This is by far the worst experience I had with a nail salon. First I asked the gentleman after my nails was completed to fix the nail because it was crooked and needed to be filed down the side, as the nails are wide and I am dissatisfied with my service. He stated he can not do but your policy states, you can within two days. Then, it was an issue with my toes. I told him I want French tip and once it was time to do that service, he asked me does the French tip looks good and told him no and give him suggestions on how to make a change to and I was polite on how I would like it, the gentleman got aggressive with me and and said I can go somewhere else to get them down better and he does not normally do toes. Why would you guys put someone on my toes if this is not his area so we agreed to not do the toes. Lastly, I am walking to pay for my service and I recited the policy to the host and the gentleman and they started to get aggressive with me and team tagging me while I am just stating in a polite manner, that I am dissatisfied with the service you provided and the policy states you will fix the nail within two days. She agree to file the nail down on the side but said if the paint comes off she will not fix however your POLICY states within two days nails come be fixed and I told her that she will because that's what the policy says and top of that she is holding my nail hard and I'm not going to allow a stranger to treat me in that manner if I been nothing but nice and polite to them. LESSON LEARNED DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANGEL NAILS because they charging you prices and they have someone who do even know what they are doing and does not keep their promise to their policy!!! read more

This place is horrible I was in there for 2 hours for a pedicure and just nails painted I asked for gel polish on both.. He painted my toes and nails with 3 coats each way to much... They ran and look like SH-- I payed $60 never again!!!! back home in LA THEY only put one coat and they last for 6 weeks.. I will never go back there BEWARE LADIES!!! read more
