I understand people get sick. But canceling an appointment less than 30 minutes before is unacceptable when you know you have been out all day. She did ask if I would like to reschedule and I asked for something the next day because I'm going out of town for my sons graduation and I was getting my nails done for that. Had a gel/shellac manicure done by Michelle. I called and made an appointment and was seen right after she finished with another customer. I already had gel on my nails and it costs an extra $5 to take that polish off and put new stuff on. A full gel manicure is $25+$5 to take off existing polish. Just putting on polish is $15. Overall she did a great job and I hope it lasts. they do take credit cards for charges over $20 and you can put a tip on the card. At first I was super happy with this place after moving here from Tulsa and visiting a long time established salon for a few years that did what I liked. My last visit to Angel Nails was disappointing not because of the work but because of the way I was treated. I was super excited to get a new set. I arrived on time. The nail technician was not pleased, and made sure I knew it, that she had to soak off my old set. During the process of removing the old set she informed me "this one may hurt" and did hurt me with the dremmel tool. When I flinched she did not apologize and acted as if I was being ridiculous. She does nice work. But she didn't seem to appreciate or want my business. As a result I won't be going back. read more

Absolutely Terrible customer service. I walked in at exactly 5:30pm and both women working just looked at me without greeting me. I walked to the service counter and asked did they do waxed and was told yes but I'd have to make an appointment for tomorrow because they close at 6pm. Me,thinking that was a timely procedure accepted that and said ok, I'll just take a pedicure now then. I was told they couldn't do that either because of the fact they closed at 6. Nice pedicure, the deluxe one includes a mud mask and hot towel. The nail tech was very friendly and professional! The pedicure chairs are in individual rooms which is a nice change! I have been going to Angels for over 6 years and the service has been great up until recently when the owner Angel stopped working every day. Normally I would be able to walk in and if they were busy they would say come back in an hour or so but now they don't do walk-ins at all. If you want to go here you better call and be willing to wait until the next day. Also the whole atmosphere is just not the same without Angel there. I've attempted to walk-in for a basic manicure and eyebrows on several occasions but she is so short staffed to where they cannot accommodate walk-ins. Recommended they advertise "by appointment only". It seemed she was so busy she could not even look up from the customer she was doing a manicure on and I was turned-off from making an appointment for the next day. I won't attempt to come back. It's appointment only, but if they have space available you can be a walk-in, I have gotten in to get my eye brows waxed. I really appreciated this because I have definitely been shooed away at other places before without an appointment. They sat us next to each other and had us in and out pretty quick. We both got a manicure and gel. I thought it was strange they did not soak my nails in any warm water before they started cutting my cuticles but it turned out fine. They had a GREAT choice of colors to choose from which was amazing! The only reason i did not give them 5 stars is because the place was pretty small and seemed a little cramped and cluttered. This place is HORRIBLE! Not only did i wait 20 minutes to be even noticed (when it was empty and the workers were just sitting there) but i got a very rude lady. She got the wax stuck to my face and she mess up my brows. One was very noticeable thicker. I shouldn't have even paid. New to the area and decided to give this salon a try. Was greeted immediately when I arrived. Was sat and started my services quickly( this was a Monday morning at about 9:45.) Unsure of the Name of the woman who did my manicure, but all went well until she started to file my nails. She was terribly rough. So rough that my pinky finger was cut with the file. Like a significant cut that actually bled. Mind you I was not getting a full set where they use the electrical tools, just the simple nail file. So every product used following that was very unpleasant. When it came to check out they do not accept credit /debit cards, which is inconvenient so I used the ATM for cash. Apparently the lady was unsatisfied with her tip of less than $5 because I received a not so nice "thanks" followed by what seemed to be a dirty look. The paint (gel polish which is a $15 add on) is also already chipping after just 2 days. Will for sure try another nail salon next time. read more
