She touched up my highlights which went fine, although I was slightly disappointed when I went to put my hair up and saw some grays that missed the hair dye. The haircut was next and all I know is one moment I went from a bob, then I had bangs, then I had a bowl cut with bangs. There was a lot of internally screaming going on inside. I wish I would have know what she had in mind or I would have stopped her. She lifted most of the top of my hair and just cut across and when it fell it was a bowl shape. The good news? But being a former soldier, I was not about to give up. I waited until, I couldn't wait any longer and gave it one more shot. And lo and behold, the young lady that answered the phone told me that she would color my locs for me. To say I was elated would be an under statement. I get there and was greeted like I had been there a thousand times. Then I was informed that the young lady I talked to on the phone was/is the owner Mrs. Vickie and coloring is not her specialty but that she had been an instructor at our local cosmetology school, I felt a lot better. But still coloring is for a while. Lol. And then I realized that coloring locs is a real job. I won't get into all the technical stuff, but just know I wasn't ready. Lol. So it's finally done, and at first, I was shocked the person looking back at me was someone else (the whole purpose of a dye job! Lol) It took me a couple days, but everyone else I came across wanted to know "Who colored my locs? Or where did I get that done in this area?"
