I told my dad exactly what kind of nails he should get because I specifically needed his feet to look a certain way for a project I am working on. I told him to tell the salon that he wanted acrylic tips with a French Gel fade, and I even gave him a photo to show them as an example. He said that he told the lady that when he arrived for his appointment, first thing Saturday morning. Even though the woman said she would and could make him look exactly like he asked, all she gave him was gel paint and an upgraded pedicure -- they even charged him an additional $10 for "calous removal" which consisted of her using a brush with soap on his feet and no planing or scraping! Oh, he told me that the lady who did his nails told him that she would have her friend do them the way that he wanted, NEXT TIME! He said she told him that she didn't know how to do acrylic! If she didn't know how to do acrylic tips, why didn't she have her "friend" do them once she finished with the pedicure??? Dad would not tell me the woman's name, but I asked another woman who was in the salon with him while I waited in the car after I got done shopping, and she said that the technician was named Nancy. At a bare minimum, they owe Dad a refund. I would say that they could redo the nails the right way at their cost, but I wouldn't trust them to do them right. read more

You can walk out of there spending at least $150 on a pedi. They are also not great on giving you what you want. I wanted my toes painted one color and the lady insisted on me doing tips. I believe the reason why is the attendant just filed the gel overlay but did not completely removed it usually wrap your nails in cotton ball with acetone. Overall bad experience and unfortunately nothing good to say. Although I was the only customer there I waited 10 minutes to be seated for a pedicure. When asked how the water was, I said cold and was abruptly told no, it's hot and the woman sprayed my legs with the water hose/nozzle. She never took my old polish off, just scraped it with a tool and buffed. The massage I paid extra for was simply rubbing my ankles for a bit, no pressure and very little movement. As for the polish, she only put one coat on... I thought you always get a second coat. All this for $47 and I still had to tip. I will definitely not return. read more

I went for a Brazilian wax and a pedicure. The wax room is soo small the lady had to climb on the bed with me. She was kind and gentle but went I went home to shower, let's just say I had to shave the remaining hair. So that was waste of $70. I've been once before and my nails looked great. The backs lifted after about 5 days and my hair kept getting caught in them. Very annoying. Today, the very nice lady with the purple hair did my gel mani pedi and was super sloppy. I still tipped $5 because I didn't want to be rude and she gave me attitude that it wasn't enough for her and the trainee that helped! WTF. Here's what the costs of their menu said, compared to what i was charged: basic mani $15 + gel $15 + chrome $20 + rhinestones 2 fingers $6 = $56 **charged $81** Deluxe pedi $40 + callus remover $10 + chrome (~$10) & rhinestones on 2 toes (~$10) = $70 **charged $95** waxing eyebrows ($12) and upper lip ($10) **hopefully charged $22** Mani had some bumps. Susan worked on mani. Lily did pedi and waxing. Both services were okay, but they maxed me out for each. Advice: tell them your budget on a mani-pedi combo ($45-65 is reasonable) and question more on the final bill. read more

We got there at around 3:30. We were greeted and asked to check in. I was a little hesitant and nervous because again I am self-conscious about my feet but my cousin assured me that it was going to be OK checking in on their iPad we were asked to wait just a few moments, I immediately noticed how clean and welcoming the shop was. Within five minutes, we were then asked to come and sit in chair six and seven, we were greeted by June and Nancy! I love getting my toes done, but I am always uncomfortable while sitting in the pedicure chair, but I noticed right off the back that when I sat down in the chair, it was super wide and comfortable. It did not close tightly on my hips I also liked how the recline on the chair went all the way back to where my legs could stretch and risk comfortably and not crunched up. Usually when I do get pedicures since I'm tall, I always feel like my knees are crunched up and again I feel uncomfortable, but not at this establishment. I was asked how the water temperature was. Then asked what color I wanted the tech that assisted me her name was June and she was really sweet and attentive. Also took her time. I really like that about her. I did not feel rushed at all I felt like she cared, when it came time to do my back heel and to remove the callus, I was dreading it. But she then lifted up a piece from the chair to hold up my leg while she cleaned all the callus off of the back of my heel. I could not believe that this chair had something like that, I was loving it!!!! my cousin had a tech named Nancy and she was also very sweet and kind. I loved my first time experience at Angel nails and I will definitely be back! My total came out to around $95 and trust me when I say it was worth every penny!!! I went in today as was in the area of my errands and was over due for a professional mani/ pedi. They did a good job, but communication was very difficult and apparently they only offer gel polish which is an extra $15 each, so $30 for a mani/ pedi. They handed me a thing with the colors, but nowhere on it did it say that they were gel colors and it wasn't until she came back with the color I chose that I learned it was gel. When it was handed to me, I figured it was due to Covid to keep customers from roaming the shop. If I had known ahead of time, I probably would have gone somewhere else. Went here cause CocoNails was busy, and I needed a fill that was a pink and white ombré nail. I got Susan and at first she was really nice, we talked a little bit while she was filing off my previous powder on my nails. She had a very strong grip that was uncomfortable and when she was drilling my nail plate it burned. I tried to see past this, but once she started applying the powder I was speechless. She took a big brush and applied white powder on top of my whole nail, then took what I thought was regular pink powder and brushed it on top of the white powder attempting to blend. When she finished one hand I looked at the nails and there was glitter in the pink powder. I didn't say anything and I wish I did cause the aftermath was awful and I was not satisfied with the outcome. I asked Susan to make the nails look more natural as well and she said no cause I was getting a fill for my nails. She said if I had gotten another full set she could make them look natural but because it was a fill she couldn't. She said my nails were already thick (which they weren't, only the apex of the nail bed) then she continued to try and drill under my nails and I asked her not to bc she would be filing away the underneath of my REAL nails. However I noticed even if she would have made my nails more natural her pink powder she put on top of the white would've just come off bc it wasn't blended anyways. When i did get to the nail tech she was extremely rude and insensitive to my needs. Instead of soaking off my nails like a PROFESSIONAL would have this lady RIPPED the acrylic and top layer of my nail off with tweezers so i was really upset. Then I asked her to just soak them off she said no probably because she was lazy and unprofessional! She also left my natural nail extremely long which i have never had another nail tech do before. I also got an extremely simple white french tip and when i get to go pay after my already irritating/crappy experience she says it was 69$ DOLLARS!!!!!!! which is insane! I have gotten the same set with better quality at Chic nails for 36$ literally half the price for my new ones from angels! The nails are very pretty but definitely NOT 69$ dollars pretty! I have gotten a really beautiful set with handpainted clouds and butterflies with an acrylic ombré for 74$ I definitely feel extremely cheated out of my money and time. I give this place 3 stars. This was my first time at Angel Nails. I usually go to Coco's but was referred to by friends. As soon as you walk in, you check in with an iPad which was pr etty cool. The only problem with that is that older clients have a hard time. I booked for a pedicure and full set of acrylics. After I picked my color "Brian"( I think that's his name) did my pedicure. He was very good and very patient when I wanted to change things. The only negative was that he massaged the other leg and left the other one. But all in all I was happy. Pearl did my acrylics and I really liked her. She was very attentive and very friendly. Sadly, not even a week later, one of my nails fell off during my weekend away. I came back to fix it. A few days later 3 nails of each of my fingers started to fall off. I called them and ask for a refund for my acrylic set they said to come in and they'll take a look at it. I went in and they fixed all 3 of the nails, still they fell off. 2 days later. She told me that I had oily nails and that I should wash my hands cleaner next time. Happy Birthday to me!!!!!!! I have been going here for several years and today my Daughter and myself got basic Mani/Pedi with gel. My Daughter got little flowers on her big toes and thumbs. When I checked out my bill was $175. My Daughters $30 mani/pedi was $75 with gel and the little flower. That meant my $40 mani/pedi was $100 with gel.
