It's nowhere near me, but I still enjoy making the trip because I always feel welcomed. I especially love the live music and the vibes. It's laid-back, comfortable, and unpretentious, with that neighborhood hangout feeling that can be hard to find. The patio is great, the food and drinks hit the spot, and it's just a fun place to relax and enjoy yourself. If you want something chill with a neighborhood hangout vibe, this is the place. Whether I'm listening to the live music, having a drink, or just enjoying the atmosphere, I always have a good time. Definitely one of my favorite Houston spots.

It is very small inside and they try to crowd in as many seats as possible so it's hard to get through them when crowded. The bathrooms are bar bathrooms, sooo.... The best menu item I have had and will always get when in the area, their potato wedges. I take them togo too and after a 30 minute drive they're still great and massive.

Bathrooms are always a flight risk during times of desperation and the prices have remained steady despite hikes across the rest of Westheimer. The parking situation is limited to a few spots out front, which are so tight that backing in is a gamble and going front in might result in an angle. it's a tight squeeze for larger cars, but these are coveted spots for the bar hopping kind (#1). Catbirds is a nice place to start and potentially a solid place to end, but here's hoping that the changes from new ownership will take this place to new heights. It was a Saturday night and they had karaoke happening. We checked it out and WOW! I couldn't believe how much fun it was there and how friendly everyone was. The owner even grabbed a couple of chairs so we didn't have to stand. Definitely a must if you like a neighborhood bar with a lot of friendly people. The drinks were good but the people and owner made the bar experience worth remembering. If we end up back in Houston we will definitely go back. We highly recommend Dinos Den!
