At the start she said all the right things. But as planning picked up, our experience soured…read more We were clear with our budget. We worked together to set item level budgets and design choices (e.g. flowers, printing, etc.). However, each proposal we received was over budget. Communication also became a problem. When she overlooked scheduling problem between the venders and our requirements, she became defensive about her faults. Also, she promised she would only manage one marriage a weekend, but on our weekend she had two weddings. I wish the relationship would have worked better and I hope she learns from our concerns.

Our single best investment of the entire wedding was to hire Diana of Eventi Planning. We hired…read moreDiana to help with wedding day coordination, but in fact she ended up helping with planning, crisis management, and general advice in the months leading up to the wedding. Given that vendors often try to double as event planners (especially caterers, venues, and DJs), Diana had the difficult job of coordinating the coordinators. She did so with aplomb: building positive relationships with the other vendors, soliciting input on the master schedule, maintaining flexibility, and helping cultivate a sense of joy on the big day. She could easily charge double or triple for her services. Diana helped with the following decisions and more: creating a floor plan, hiring transportation for the wedding day (we used three vendors: a hotel shuttle, an all-purpose van, and a limo), hiring and negotiating a better rate for drapes, brainstorming ideas, communicating with other vendors, buying small items that we forgot (tea candles, a car decorating kit, and a guest book), lending us some common wedding items (a ring pillow, candle holders, and a "bird cage" for gifts), delivering ribbons for the wedding cake, and creating a master schedule. We also appreciated that Diana was fine with the unusual gender roles in our planning process, as the groom handled most of the planning. We found that some vendors were quite sexist in this respect, but Diana was fine with communicating with both of us. In short, we can't emphasize enough how thankful we are for Diana's help.

Where to begin? Ok Amy and her exceptional team were the BEST DECISION my now husband and I made!…read moreOur journey began meeting Amy at an LGBT+ Wedding Expo because neither one of us have been to a gay wedding or knew anything about weddings, especially non-traditional weddings. Amy was so sweet, kind, and professional and reassuring with all of my questions. I interviewed 5 different wedding planners and chose Amy when I noticed the price was right and she offered so much help and assistance with everything a newlywed would need help with. Let me tell you, she lied about nothing to this date! Leading up to the wedding, 7 months until the big day, our all-inclusive venue went out of business abruptly! We had to start from the BEGINNING! I'll never forget calling Amy panicking and feeling lost, angry, sad, mad, confused, defeated, etc. She immediately reassured me that everything would work out and she'd help us with everything. We had only a partial package with her and we were asking for services from a full package, and she reminded me that this was an emergency that we did not ask for. Amy and Abby sent over recommendations for venues, caterers, DJ's, Cake, Photographers, Videographers, etc. and March 2026 I was one busy guy but I ran contracts through Amy and her team and they reviewed each one and gave the best advice possible without saying "You need to go with them" or just giving one option. Overall, almost everyone we went with was an option from Amy and her team based off what we wanted. Wedding Day! The fun part, our wedding was PERFECT! When I say we were not allowed to be on our phones and not a single worry in the world occurred, nothing bad was allowed to reach us at all. We had a point of contact (someone from our wedding party) to answer all questions and check on us at the hotel during hair and make-up. Amy and her team (Mandy and Emma) made the flow of our wedding work perfectly! Our officiant missed our vows section and Amy strategically was able to help fit our vows into the reception which seemed to have worked even better. Amy and her team truly were there for us every second of the wedding and most importantly gave us a second to breathe after the ceremony. Long story short, EVERYONE should have a wedding planner, but not just a wedding planner, Amy Frances wedding planning! Our day could not have been as perfect as it was without her. She has become our friend at this point. She is organized, she is a problem solver, she is understanding, she is everything when it comes to celebrating love! Besides my husband and I finding each other, we are so thankful we found Amy for our wedding!

She helped us navigate all the questions of planning a wedding, and was always ready to jump in for us. She was flexible with our rehearsal too, as we weren't able to have it at the venue due to scheduling reasons, but she was happy to have it elsewhere and work with us. She was very communicative and easy to talk to, and quick to answer all the last minute questions and soothe the final anxieties as we got closer to the day (and there were many, as the forecast was looking quite stormy in the final week--thankfully the rain held off!). She kept us as calm as possible. On the actual day, she was worth her weight in gold, helping to manage everything and make sure it ran as smoothly as it could. We had a small issue with our shuttle vendor, which I didn't know about until it was handled and dealt with, all thanks to Amy. She made sure we knew what we needed to, and that we weren't bothered by the details we didn't need to know. I can whole heartedly recommend Amy for anyone planning a wedding!

It was either A) A Screensaver B) A prescription drug commercial C) An episode of Smallville Let me paint this Beech for ya. Drive up a long soothing driveway to an old stone forged mansion. Park on the left and walk along the back of the house to come up on a deep landscape of rolling hills with sparse fall colored foliage peaking behind some. Separating the property is an almost never-ending white fence that sweeps off and to the right. 2 large wide trees stand close to the house on the left. The brick walk that leads you to the back of the mansion follows into an almost covered bridge style gazebo which then escorts you into a large heated permanent white tent with a light wooden floor and tiny strung globe lights that create outward rays from the top center, almost 20 feet up. Damn, this venue is as cute as a muf! I wanna have my wedding up this in B. At the ceremony space that stands in front of one of the large hawthorne trees, are 2 brightly colored shining barrels for massive floral arrangements to hug the happy couple. Beside the tent is a raised brick patio where guests can enjoy a cocktail or 5, and if you step into the house, you'll find treasures of those described on Portabello Road #BedknobsAndBroomsticks My eye catches an old cabinet-style victrola, a baby grand piano, and rugs from around the world.
