Angela Sayers did the books and taxes for our corporation as well as our personal tax returns. We were extremely disappointed. Communication was terrible, I don't think she ever took a call. We would have to wait and hope she would call us back. She filed once for us and we have never paid so much personal tax in our lives. Literally, Angela hit the target--she has a brilliant mind and thinks on a whole different level than mere mortals. My returns had no large profit for her, just once a. year, but she treats me as if I am a millionaire. Her office staff is always professional and responsive. As per the recent complaint that I noticed in Yelp written in 2022 by "Time P."--her phone system was down--you should try the office again when the glitch is repaired! Have you tried to call the number she has for this business? Horrific, Horrific, Terrible! I called at last 15 times, the call goes to some crazy voice message, unrelated to anything when it comes to reaching a live person, or a call transfer. I was unable to professionally reschedule my appointment prior to my visit today. Nobody answers the phone and calls are not returned. The same thing happened when I call before today. I would think there is enough money made to get an answering service or a receptionist. Not a good place to handle your finances. If you are in trouble you might not get a return call, EVER. We terminated our contract with her and after paying thousands of dollars for routine bookkeeping and she sued us for many thousands of dollars more. The work was sub-par and we tried to settle with her, but she demanded that that the work being paid in full. When we refused, she would not take any type of settlement, but instead chased us for years and eventually got an illegal swipe of our assets (assets that were not connected to the business she worked on). We have a small business and sometimes you need to write off some fees for disagreements, but we would never circle the world trying to screw an ex-client out of a few dollars. I had a very bad experience with this Angela Sayers CPA Tax Service. She was a guest speaker to our office and I thought I would give her a try. I did have the same CPA doing my taxes for 30 years but I was curious as to what the difference was. Well I found out. Terrible! I dropped my taxes off after have a phone conversation with Angela Sayers. Another person met me in the very unorganized lobby area. That made me wonder right then. I should have listened to my gut. I told Angela over the phone and in email as well as the person who took my documents that I needed to show the most income because I was buying a home. I told them I needed the taxes asap to get to the lender. I was told by this person it would be about a week. A week ok I'm here now. My tax accountant does them with you and when you leave the office your done. I waited a week and no taxes. I called several times and was kept being told I would have them soon. Three weeks later and in jeopardy of loosing my purchase home with the Seller and Lender I demanded all of my documents back. Suddenly they were done that day? I picked them up and much to my surprise they were done completely wrong and not as I specified I wanted them done to be able to purchase my home. I immediately contacted my CPA and he saved the day. I walked in and in two hours or less walked out with the last 3 years income taxes done, completed, filed and reported the way I wanted them so I could buy my home. Working with Angela Sayers was a nightmare! She never returned email messages or phone call messages. One time I called in desperation to get my documents back and I was told she was on the phone and would call me back.
