I gave her the benefit of the doubt though since I am on the young side and totally get it. So whatever, she shows me the place and I love it, I hand in my docs the SAME morning, 1 hour after the showing (mind you this listing went on the market the night before I messaged and I was the ONLY showing that next day so my chances were pretty good). After that, I basically had to call her, text her, etc. to track her down and follow up about the apartment and my docs. I am sorry but If you are getting a brokers fee, the #1 thing you should do is follow up with your clients at the absolute least. I'd like to preface this by saying that me and my partners income combined is about 140k a year. We were denied due to our income for a $1800 a month apartment which I found extremely odd (our credits are both in the mid and high 700's). Fine though, whatever, it happens. I text her if she has any other listings, I would love to see some more places. She basically ghosted me in my time of need. Extremely unprofessional, disorganized to say the least - I would not recommend working with her. The simple fact I had to chase her down to get any response or an update, says more than enough.
