I have not seen the final photos yet, but we got to look through and see some as she was taking them. We have a big family of 7 and she knew us all by name when we first arrived (after seeing a photo ~7 years old and being told the names). She was very communicative before the shoot; she called and had a Skype conversation and saw examples of photos we liked. She sent examples of poses and looks she recommended. She sent an email detailing do's and don't's and how to prepare. She talked with me about color scheme and backgrounds ahead of time. She was very good at directing us where to go and referred to us by name, which really helped with the directing process. She also took our requests and ideas into account and worked with us on photo ideas. I get cast and work in these markets: NYC (Netflix movies), Atlanta (Marvel/ABC), and Mid-Atlantic (Apple TV). I am new to the business (three years in) but I have been building a resume over time and there is no way I am going to compromise because I take my career seriously. There is no slack given in a highly competitive industry with a dearth of roles and a surplus of talent.
