Their aides - for the most part - are disrespectful ... and if you dare to say that to Faith Care, they accuse you of being disrespectful to their aides. In fact, Faith Care has/had a habit of putting the responsibility of whatever bad happening solely on their clients. Also, it appears to me that Faith Care's aides have/had more rights than their clients. When you question if you had made a duplicate payment, Faith Care will argue with you and demand you prove that you have, instead of checking their records. Because of verbal abuse at the hands of one of Faith Care's "best" aides, I switched agencies from Faith Care to an agency named CT IN HOME ASSISTANCE. Everything bad that Faith Care and their aides are, My new agency is not. Example: Totally on their own, CT IN HOME ASSISTANCE contacted me last week, and informed me that they had found a duplicate payment and would be returning it (which they have), and they told me not to pay that week's invoice because my account is/was up to date. AND REMEMBER - THEY DID IT ON THEIR OWN! Opposite of what Faith Care does. And CT IN HOME ASSISTANCE's aide? He's more respectful than the last aide from Faith Care, he knows his job better than the last aide I had from Faith Care. Bottom line? In regard to Faith Care? BUYER BEWARE.

Unfortunately, our experience with Always Best Care in Manchester, CT, brought anything but peace. Out of three scheduled visits, two had no documented care notes provided to the family, an unacceptable lapse in accountability for any agency claiming to offer professional in-home care. On the one day when a family member was present, the care appeared attentive and thorough. However, when no one from the family was on-site, there was no evidence that any meaningful care had been provided. We found my mother in the same clothing on Saturday as she had been wearing on Monday, despite two scheduled care visits in between. Her living space had not been cleaned, laundry had not been done, and no hygiene assistance had been given. There was no documentation, no follow-up, and no communication. We later learned from the Director of Operations that internal notes for the Tuesday visit (one of the undocumented days) indicated that my mother declined hygiene assistance due to not feeling well. This is critical information that was never communicated to the family. If our loved one was unwell enough to refuse care, we absolutely should have been notified immediately so we could check in or seek medical attention if necessary. Additionally, no notes at all were provided for the Thursday visit. This complete lack of transparency, paired with poor communication and inconsistent documentation, makes it impossible to trust that proper care was ever delivered. When you entrust an agency with the well-being of a vulnerable loved one, basic communication and follow-through should not be optional; they're essential. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Always Best Care in Manchester as a trustworthy provider of in-home care. Our family deserved better, and so does yours.

Hired me the same day without any experience but told me I'd have to take an online exam & an 8 hr training session. Was sent to a client a few days later with no training. Turns out the client was expecting a nurse, which I am not, and already has a companion 5 days a week. They also gave me a wrong show up time & didnt know client was extremely hard of hearing. They never had the courtesy to call me back when I left them a message asking them to so so nor did they apologize to the client. When I called to see if they received my msg, they said yes. So why didn't you call me liked I asked? Instead of taking ownership of their mistake , they tried to blame it on the client who had all her cognitive skills. AAHC is downright rude & definitely a fly- by-night LLC operating with no experience or compassion. They should turn their 2 room basement operation into a debt collection LLC.

However after signing the contract and taking our deposit check we never heard back from her. No follow up visits, no calls, no texts, no emails, nothing to see how we were doing , how we liked the caretaker....nothing! Further worse was when our loved one passed away she made no effort to reach out and offer a simple condolence or ask how we were doing. The first contact we had was when it came time to pay the bill. Having been taken back by this, I confronted Esther and was told she did call me, but later changed that story to "oh we have a lot of clients and it must have slipped through". Their voice message says "in a world where you can be anything, be kind". However, that was far from what our family experienced with this company's management when we needed them most and hence why I'm leaving a one star review. Zero compassion and zero care for the emotional needs of a family after loosing a loved one. First, to put my review in perspective, I have been to physical therapy a total of ten times in my…read morelife, so I have a lot of experiences by which to measure this one. I had two rounds of physical therapy here for hip bursitis. I had some reduction of pain and an increase in strength, but still had lingering almost daily pain after the second try here. This clinic was very busy, to the point that I was sometimes one of three patients (to one therapist) at a time. There were also a couple of instances in which my therapist had to conduct an initial evaluation (30 min. or more) during my visit. This was far from ideal, and I felt that this kind of scheduling was unfair to both the patients and the therapists. I even tried scheduling some of my appointments earlier in the day and it did not make much of a difference. I also had a very cursory, disappointing initial evaluation for my first round of pt (with a different therapist with whom I did not work again) which I feel may have led my treatment in an unproductive direction. Overall, I felt less comfortable here than I have at other clinics. It's odd, because the therapists with whom I worked were nice, but somehow the atmosphere here felt more cold and clinical and awkward than other places. I am currently going to a different clinic and I am having success healing my injuries and I feel comfortable there. This experience has taught me that sometimes you have to try a different place and find the therapist that has just the right specialized training for your problems. Don't give up!
