I booked a reading with her for my birthday. I cannot say that this reading went at all as I was hoping and it turned out this reading wasn't for me at all; it ended up being for my husband. She started off the reading telling me things about my grandfather on my father's side which I thought was pretty accurate. I sat there on her couch with an expressionless face and she commented b this a couple of times. What I didn't want to tell her though was that the reason I was like that was because I was doing everything in my power not to vomit all over her living room. I actually felt ill and should have probably called the whole thing off but I knew I likely wouldn't get a refund. She read my husband for the rest of the reading and kept talking/describing people in his family that had passed away. One person in particular stood out. She said "Why do I feel like I'm floating on a river and I'm killed by insurgents?' My husband and I both shrugged our shoulders and she kept talking about this person. Weeks later we were talking to my mother in law and she was shocked. Her jaw literally dropped. She said my husband's grandfather was killed on a river in his home country by insurgents. I made an appointment two months ago and didn't hear anything back other than the billing confirmation. Two days before the appointment, she reschedules it for earlier in the day, which was fine. The day before the appointment, she cancels it and issues a refund with no explanation. OK so kind of random. I was in the bay area for several days and randomly decided that I wanted to see a psychic. I've had a couple psychic readings over the phone, but this would be my first in person session. I searched around for local psychics and found Leanne. Thankfully for me, she wan't super booked and I was able to snag a session. She charges $150 for a one hour in person session which is pretty "affordable" when you compare to other psychics. I hope she doesn't hike up her price... at least not for me. Grandfather me into a loyalty deal or something please LOL. She also does phone and skype sessions. Her online booking system through her website is pretty convenient and easy. Find an open session on the calendar, and pay a deposit of $25 or pay the full amount via Paypal. You can pay with card via Square or cash with her if you only make a deposit. Her in person sessions are held at her home in a town house complex. She was standing outside waiting for me with her dogs. She's a very warm and friendly lady. Once we sat down she introduced herself, saying what she does. She's a medium, which means she specializes in talking to dead people. I asked her if she does general psychic future stuff because I don't really know any dead people... She said that might be a problem but she can also connect with guardian angels. However, she ended up saying that she has my grandfather from my dad's side there. I was like WHOOOAAAAA what?! I saw Leanne a couple of weeks ago and must say she is a wonderfully, warm lady. I really enjoyed her two little dogs who hung around during the reading. :) This was my second time seeing a medium and not much better unfortunately. I would say she got about 10% accurate and 90% inaccurate. Maybe I am a hard person to read, not sure. She threw out a few names "Joe", "Jimmy/James", "Kathy/Kathleen", "Mary", "Bill/William", "Nick". I have no idea who those names were in reference to, although they are terribly general. She kept saying there was an older female present and I said I wasn't sure who that could be. Right away she said there was a younger male. I do not even know where to begin in reviewing Leanne's services. What a woman of love and light. At first I was hesitant to reach out to Leanne because I knew she was a medium. I do not have very many family members or close friends that have passed on, and my main purpose of seeking a reading was more for life direction. I delayed writing this almost a year to try to confirm some of the information that came through but was somewhat disappointed. Although I think Leanne is very warm, personable and means well, most of the information was off for me and felt more or less like she was guessing through observation, asking questions of me, or employing traditional cold reading techniques (at least for most of the reading). I've seen psychics and mediums before and I'm initially careful not to give anything away through small talk, reactions, body language, my own questions, and non-verbal communication, etc. - since people can be easily fooled by some of the techniques exposed by some of the skeptics out there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_3L9lB1Qtg With that said, I do believe there is a reality to psychic phenomena and mediumship based on my other experiences that science will eventually prove exists (Google Brian Weiss). That's not to say Leanne's abilities aren't real but for me a good portion of the reading seemed to be inaccurate and based on guessing or observation.
