My wife and I ended up dissatisfied at a few points in the process: - The process of getting an estimate was confusing: instead of showing pictures or having a quick walkthrough, we had to count walls, which didn't make much sense to us, since walls might be small, part of a closet, etc. It added to the stress of the experience. - In addition, I didn't have confidence after the job was done that everything was gotten. While Carrielynn was there and about to leave, I opened the freezer to check and saw that it was dirty. Carrielynn said she'd forgotten that and cleaned it, but it left me wondering what else I'd have to double-check and follow up on. - I also noticed that the exterior windows hadn't been done, which was a separate charge, but I would rather have known about that ahead of time and pay for it to be done along with everyone else than to have to book another job at another time. I felt there was a lack of clarity about what would or would not be done. - Just now, a little while after the cleaning, I realized that a storage/porch room (which was broken out separately in the estimate!) was dirty and, it seems, entirely untouched by a cleaner - we haven't used it since the clean. Overall, we hired a cleaner because we wanted confidence that the entire unit would be taken care of, without having to follow up about every single aspect of the job and make sure that it was done according to the agreement.
