My children absolutely love this place and the caregivers here. They have truly been lifesavers for us as parents, and they are amazing at what they do. My daughter started here when she was just 5 months old and the ladies at Angelica's have been like family to her. My daughter is now 2.5 and we are moving and so sad that she has to leave this amazing daycare. She has felt so loved and has learned so much! They spend a lot of time outside and they do a ton of fun projects that they hang up around the classroom or send home. My daughter is so proud when she brings us home something she made. Their flexibility has been a life saver for us as my husband and I both work full time and don't have any family here. They also provide all meals and snacks which has been amazing. We had to leave Angelica's daycare because my older son started school, but we have to say that Angelica's Daycare is the best daycare in the Hollywood/West Hollywood area. We visited many other daycares before finding Angelica's and as soon as we entered the place, we knew it was the right place for my kids. The place is well organized, well maintained, very clean and they have 2 big patios for the kids to play! The teachers are lovely! My kids loved the teachers very much, especially Alba, she is so kind, patient and caring and Tanya is very easy to communicate with throughout the day! Their Spanish immersion program helped our kids maintain their Spanish and they learned the numbers, alphabet, and many many songs in Spanish. They provided breakfast/snacks/lunch which our kids loved, and we even had to ask Tanya many times for the recipes so we could make it at home! They also provide a flexible drop off and pick up schedule that is accommodating for working parents. We were very lucky to have sent our kids to Angelica's daycare and we still constantly recommended it to any friends looking for care for their kids. My baby started at Angelica's daycare when she was just 5 months old. I'm so grateful to the ladies here for being there for my daughter. She was so full of joy , learned Spanish (sang songs in Spanish and English at the top of her lungs). One day she just started saying the days of the week and counting to 20 in Spanish which was so fun to see. The facility (in Hollywood) was full of wonderful arts, crafts, books, toys, and playground games for kids. It is also kept extremely clean. (Additionally, they took extraordinary measures immediately at the start of the pandemic to keep things safe.) They serve healthy (and tasty!) meals and snacks. They accommodate odd schedules or other needs (they even do planned pick-ups/ drop-offs if needed!). I couldn't have hoped for a better environment for my child. Since I had to go back to work and my daughter was four months old at the time I decided that Beyond looking for a daycare that was had a great learning environment it was important that my daughter felt genuine care, I wanted her in a loving environment. When they are that age love and security are the two most important factors of growth. We visited 12 daycares before we found Angelica's daycare. When we arrived at Angelica's home she gave us a tour and then immediately said "can I hold her, I just have to hold her, in my culture it's good omen to hold a child when you see them and give them love" THAT, Was what sold me instantly. My daughter connected with Angelica's and smiled at her. My daughter has been in the care of Angelica and her daughter Tanya now for about five months. I've seen amazing growth in my daughter development and you can see how loved she is every time we pick we up from daycare. And honestly, they seem that way with everything single child that gets dropped off and picked up. You see the comfort in every parents face. Angelica's Daycare is more like a second home for my toddlers. It feels like I am dropping them off at a relatives house, because of the nurturing environment and love that is given to my kids. The whole place is clean, with a great playground, they do fun arts and crafts, reading, dancing, and freetime for the kids to be kids. My kids are so happy, and I know they are safe. The growth that they have had here is overwhelming. About a month a ago I ended up in the emergency room with discussion of having an immediate surgery (which tankfully was avoided). I was told by both Angelica and Tanya, not to worry, my kids were safe and to take care of me. I finally was able to get to the daycare at 9pm, 5 hours later than usual. My kids had been fed dinner, and were asleep, well taken care of. Knowing that when I had an emergency thrown at me, Angelica's Daycare was able to put me at ease that my kids would be okay, and they were. As a mom, this meant everything to me. Your child will be so happy at Angelica's! Our 2 year old has been going to this daycare for 6 months and she loves it - whenever we arrive she has a big smile on her face. All of the teachers are super nice and positive. The kids do all sorts of fun activities and their instagram account is updated regularly so you have a window into how they spend their day. Our daughter is there almost 50 hours a week and the flexibility on pickup/dropoffs is a huge plus for busy parents, as well as occasional help on the weekends - additional fee for that, but very helpful if you need extended support on the weekends. Angelica and the staff are caring daycare providers. Both my daughters attended the daycare for about 2 years. The reason we left is because my older daughter started attending Elementary School. Also, English is our 1st language so I really enjoyed that my girls learned Spanish numbers, Spanish pronunciation of their A,B,C's. Also, learned songs in Spanish. I would defiantly have my girls back during the summer for summer care when school is out. Also, the kids bring home art projects and I keep ALL of them! I am so glad I found Angelica's Daycare for my former 2 and now 3 three year old daughter! When I toured the location, I was struck by the clean and welcoming environment. As a full time working, single mother I also chose this location for their convenience offerings such as provided meals, flexible hours, and reasonable number of holiday closures. I am also in the multifamily-housing industry/an essential worker, so availability is extremely important since we are not closed several traditional holidays. On top of that, I was pleased with their daily craft and activity schedules. I knew my daughter wouldn't be propped in front of a TV all day. My daughter has now been attending Angelica's Daycare for nearly a year and we truly love it. She has friends she loves seeing, they share fun Tick Tock videos of their daily activities (which I LOVE), and I can see she has developed a relationship with the daycare team. She actually tells me how much she loves Karla on almost a daily basis - there is no better feeling! Finally, I'd like to revisit how CLEAN the environment is. When your children are around several others, sickness is just par for the course, but my daughter is almost never sick and when she is, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the daycare. Angelica's was the very first daycare we brought our daughter (who is less than a year old). The facility is so great. Lots of activities indoors and outdoors, and the outdoor areas are large and have canvas roofs to block the sun. They are so communicative, and send us photos and videos throughout the day to let us know what our little one is up to. She absolutely loves the staff, and gets so excited whenever we arrive in the morning. The price is great for what they offer. Lots of happy kids, lots of space, healthy meals, fun activities (no screen time), clean and organized, and the comfort knowing our little one is happy and safe.
