They gave me such beautiful closets and reorganize my closet. My life completely changed, I literally have my own boutique in my home it first starts with believing and having a good Designer. My Designer was Amanda, she was very diligent and knowledgeable. She listens very well for what your needs are and immediately starts to sketch our the idea with knowing what you want snd the exact measurements to fill your beautiful space (that's what yips will be saying after the installation is complete). She was very patient and she wants your expectations to be be met. On the day of my installation, Miguel and Chris was my contractors, they were nice and seemed very happy. I believe in kindness, I wanted them to feel at home and offered tea, water and anything to drink before they started working. We then had a little introductory conversations before they started the work. They reviews the specs and did the measurements per what your Designee sketched. The contractors too gave Amanda 5s All her measurements was accurate. The installation took about 4.5 hours and the finish was phenomenal. It blew my mind. I was so happy yet grateful. Everything was exactly what I felt initially and what I imagined. My closet is extremely beautiful, literally everyone loves it. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY My experience with Closet…read moreBy Design has been deeply disappointing, marked by poor workmanship, lack of attention to detail, and an alarming absence of follow through. Despite multiple calls and attempts to get basic issues addressed, I have yet to receive a meaningful response. Several problems with the installation remain unresolved: 1. Visible Gap Between Panel and Backing There is a noticeable gap between the panel and the backing--something that should never occur with professional installation. This is a basic quality control failure, and the installer should have checked and corrected it on site. 2. Couple of Self closing doors need a push to close. 3. Visible gap in floors / panels- assured initially to get seamless closets- so much for spending $$$$ 4. Panels Not Properly Secured The panels were not secured with brackets, which is standard practice. This oversight raises concerns about both durability and safety. 5. Lack of Accountability from Installation Management Instead of providing a clear plan to fix the issue, I was given explanations that felt more like an attempt to "educate" me rather than take responsibility. I was expecting solutions, not lectures. 6. Little details like covering the molding joints were assured but never completed. 7. Hinge Issues Not Addressed The hinges need to be inspected--possibly replaced--but again, no action has been taken. 8. Designer Failed to Communicate Key Details Overall, Closet By Design has shown poor workmanship, poor communication, and poor customer service. The lack of responsiveness after installation is unacceptable. I expected a professional experience, but instead I'm left with unresolved issues and no clear timeline for correction. At this point, I cannot recommend Closet By Design to anyone seeking reliable, high quality work.
