They gave me such beautiful closets and reorganize my closet. My life completely changed, I literally have my own boutique in my home it first starts with believing and having a good Designer. My Designer was Amanda, she was very diligent and knowledgeable. She listens very well for what your needs are and immediately starts to sketch our the idea with knowing what you want snd the exact measurements to fill your beautiful space (that's what yips will be saying after the installation is complete). She was very patient and she wants your expectations to be be met. On the day of my installation, Miguel and Chris was my contractors, they were nice and seemed very happy. I believe in kindness, I wanted them to feel at home and offered tea, water and anything to drink before they started working. We then had a little introductory conversations before they started the work. They reviews the specs and did the measurements per what your Designee sketched. The contractors too gave Amanda 5s All her measurements was accurate. The installation took about 4.5 hours and the finish was phenomenal. It blew my mind. I was so happy yet grateful. Everything was exactly what I felt initially and what I imagined. My closet is extremely beautiful, literally everyone loves it. Thanks to the team at Closet Design, and Special thanks to Amanda for your awesome deign (I feel like I gained a friend along the way). Please be generous and leave your contractors a tip. "I am a material girl, living in my material world." They gave me an anthem music to my newly boutique closed.

My designer was Pamela, and based on my experience, I would strongly recommend requesting someone else. I told her from the beginning that I wanted to stay around $5,000 maximum. I also felt pressured to sign immediately because I was told I was getting 40% off plus an additional 15% ONLY if I signed that day. Looking back, that "today only" offer felt like a high-pressure sales gimmick to me, and I regret falling for it. Pamela never provided the kind of clear, concrete final design document I expected before committing. The finished product was not what I envisioned or believed I was purchasing. The craftsmanship was horrible in my opinion, and the materials looked and felt cheap for something marketed as custom. I dealt with visible pre-drilled holes/supports, poor finishing, misaligned doors, doors that looked damaged, no soft-close/stoppers, and areas where chalk/caulk-like material appeared to have been used to hide damage or imperfections. The overhead shelving was also originally installed with an awkward gap below the ceiling instead of the cohesive built-in appearance I expected. Worst of all, this wasn't fixed with one service visit. After the original installation, the project had to be REINSTALLED TWICE -- three installations total. I do want to give credit to Marek, the service manager. He was nice, listened and genuinely tried to work with me. Unfortunately, even after all of his efforts, the problems were never resolved to my satisfaction. What makes me even more disappointed is that after all the mistakes, poor workmanship, two reinstallations, repeated appointments, disruption, stress and hours of my time, the company never offered me any meaningful compensation--no partial refund, credit or price adjustment. My advice: do not let a "today only" discount pressure you into signing. Get a detailed final design in writing, inspect the actual materials, and get quotes from other companies. Apparently, that's the sales pitch and they always have, I wish I knew! I spent approximately $7,400 total and deeply regret not taking that money elsewhere. Based on my experience, if I heard the name Pamela as my designer, I would run the other way. I cannot recommend Closets by Design. BEWARE and RUN!

The second day we waited and waited and he did not show up until 11:00am, I called the office to see when they would be arriving and the office lady had no clue. When he finally arrived he said he over slept. The third day was a few months later and the same thing happened, he did not show up until 11:30 after I called the office and said they had to start on time! The installer told me that never told him to start early, but honestly you are a professional you start on time. I finally got to talk to the owner/manager and he was kind of helpful and said he would be talking to the installer about showing up late. The guy I met with to organize the design also stopped answering my messages. When the installer show up the measurements were not correct the third day and he had to go back and re-cut the boards, he left and did not show up until over TWO hours later! I had emailed the designer several days before the third install to say I was switching my hardware, he never responded and they showed up with the wrong hardware. I also asked the installer to put down plastic in the bedroom due to the rugs, they put one strip down and then in the closet with light rug he did not put anything down and continued to walk on the rug with his shoes that he was going back and forth from outside. The rug was a mess. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

Our designer, Jennifer Lewis, is fantastic. She is super consultative and very open to collaboration. She asks tons of questions and even measured things we wanted to store so that the shelves and drawers would accommodate everything. Very thorough! There were delays in fabricating some of the components of the wall unit (due to Covid), and the communication from their office wasn't great, but once the delays were resolved, the end result is beautiful. (I'm rating a four only because of the poor communication. The designer and the end result were both solid fives.) I would definitely use them again for any closet or organizational project. Especially Jennifer - she's excellent.

My mother was a designer hoarder, I live on the other side of the country, and there were many moving parts. Andrea responded immediately to my call, came the next day, listened carefully to my long list of needs and wants. and offered me her expert perspective. The conversation was honest, respectful, and I hired her on the spot. Hiring Andrea and her team was the best decision I made. Given the huge amount to be done and the short timeframe, I expected some snafus and asked that we discuss them to keep our communication open. Andrea took me at my word when I said I wanted that to happen...and by doing so, she kept the trust and faith I had in her and her judgment at a 10 (on the proverbial 1-10 scale). My real estate agent loved working with her, other vendors loved working with her. I can only imagine the amount of business these sources will bring to her as we competed with each other to find superlatives for Andrea...AND...the icing on the cake, my apartment sold above asking no doubt because of Andrea's prowess in creating the space.

Prior to her arriving at my home - I had sent her preliminary measurements. She came with 2 different designs already prepared for me to review. The installation was scheduled for 6 weeks after the design was completed and the contract was signed. On the day of the install, the installer showed up on time (1 person job) and controlled the size of the mess he made in my bedroom very well. I was actually impressed with how little mess there was despite the cutting he had been doing in the room. He did take the messiest cutting outside, however. For my attention challenged friends, here's the short version:…read more If you need help purging, finding the right home for your items, creating systems that actually make sense, and adding labels so everything stays that way, hire Room to Bloom. If you are overwhelmed and craving the peace that comes from less clutter and everything having a designated place, it is worth it. Long version: We bought our home in 2020, and it was a full gut renovation. We are still living only on the first floor, while the upstairs remains mostly unfinished except for a small office. Our house currently has no linen closet, and we are sharing one small bathroom as a family of five. Because of this, we have been storing items in places that do not really make sense, simply out of necessity. At one point, I bought a large IKEA cabinet and put it in one of the kids' rooms just to store towels and sheets. With a family of five, we do a lot of laundry and accumulate a lot of stuff. We also have a side entrance that slowly became a dumping ground for anything we wanted out of sight. Every six months we would clean it, only for it to turn back into a junk room pretty quickly. Since we are not using the upstairs yet, we largely ignored the problem. Over the summer, I had a vision for the space with a custom bench/hall-tree and storage, so I bought multiple IKEA cabinets. A few family members had passed away or downsized over the years, and I had inherited many seasonal items and kitchen items. The volume alone felt paralyzing. We got the floors done and the cabinets in place and even after multiple passes of purging, I still felt overwhelmed by stuff and stuck. One of our kids has special needs and she often goes into the younger kids room and dumps out baskets and empties the book shelves. It's hard to keep up and I felt totally defeated. I decided to ask for help and I'm so glad I did! One of the most helpful parts was having an impartial, logical person there to talk through decisions without emotion or pressure. Krysta helped me move items out quickly so I did not second-guess myself, and she reorganized spaces in ways I never would have thought of. She also consolidated items so things that belonged together finally lived in the same place. She brought her trusty label maker, which made all the difference in creating systems that will actually last. We have a long dresser in the dining room that also turned into junk drawers and randomness. After collected all the baskets and storage bins we could use for the foyer, we began gathering items that didn't belong in other rooms and got to work. We already had a craft cabinet in the foyer, so she said it made sense to move all craft supplies out of the kids' room and into one centralized location. It was her idea to switch out which cabinet was designated for crafts and games and it ended up making much more sense. She also solved the recurring problem in the kids room by bringing arts and craft related items out and storing other items away safely so our other child couldn't access them anymore. We designated drawers for non-Christmas gift wrapping, bday party supplies, paint, games, flashlights, candles, light bulbs, beads, crayons, markers, etc., shelves for kitchen items not used daily, paper, everything has a home! While I'm not sharing pics of the kids room, I do have many of the foyer (I still have to paint the cabinet doors and get them hung- it's on the list lol) and the donate pile. If you have been considering hiring a professional organizer, do not hesitate. Krysta accomplished in one day what I had been trying to do for months, honestly closer to years. I am so grateful for her help. Thank you, Krysta!!!
