I had been suffering from neck pain, and loss of strength in my right hand, arm and leg. I went to Angelo Back and Rehab because my Husband had been seen there before and they were professional and clean. I had to miss some work due to my loss of strength. But by the end of the week Dr. Smith and Stephen in Rehab had me back to work. Dr. Smith does a thorough exam to find all your pain and struggles. He does x-rays to show you whats wrong. He then adjusts you, and I felt relief! Then Stephen in rehab did a laser Treatment for my nerves in my neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. I felt that working immediately! It's not just a one time fix, they give you a plan of action to get you feeling back to normal! I've been seeing them for 3 weeks now, and I feel well on my way to feeling more flexible and active in the gym. Everyone is very nice and professional all the time. They are personable as well. Coty, the receptionist, always gets me in when I need to see Dr. Smith, and if I need to reschedule, it is never a problem! I hurt my back Feb. 4, 2015. I thought I did the right things and was slowly nursing it back to health when several weeks later it completely went out on me. I couldn't dress myself! I am a police officer so me being able to move is very important but I couldn't get in and out of my patrol car, press the gas and break pedals, or even steer without sharp shooting pain leaving me motionless. I started seeing Dr. Anderson and within several days was feeling so much better I went back to work. That was a mistake because of the physical exertion and I reinjured my back. Angelo Back & Rehab is an excellent facility with a friendly and personable staff. They are knowledgable, experienced, and willing to explain what and why they do what they do every step of the way if you are curious. This was a big deal for me because a lot of people get frustrated when you ask a lot of questions to try and understand what your body is doing. I had sought out chiropractic care after being in a car accident but my treatment here helped with many other issues as well. Through my accident recovery I learned a lot about how to take better care of myself, I had other aches and pains I had before the accident fade away, and I started sleeping better. I live about an hour from San Angelo and have never needed a chiropractor before. But I had heard that headaches can sometimes be helped with chiropractic care. I thought it was worth a shot. I made an appointment, which was really easy, and went to see Dr. Anderson. He was friendly and kind and explained in plain language what he say on my x-rays and how he thought he could help. Went in for treatment and received xrays of my whole spine at a cost of 300 bucks that the doctor never mentioned a word about. the adjustment was 10-15 seconds and wasnt comfortable or explained what was happening and then i was told the same treatment would be needed 28 times at a cost of 2000 dollars. no thank you.... read more
