They have all of the current vendors of fitness shoes for walking, running, cross training etc. They also have very high quality socks, economically priced. When I participated in a drive to supply the homeless with winter socks, I bought a bunch of packs here a couple of years ago. I think it's crazy to pay retail when you have this in Delaware County. I had only ordered from Shibe through mail order until my last visit to Philadelphia. Then, as I'm killing time and walking around before a concert, I walked past their physical shop. I had to duck in. Lots of Eagles Super Bowl swag, stickers, shirts and hats. I purchased Phils and Birds stickers and a really cool Phillies knit cap. Prices are way more competitive than I would've expected from a place located in the heart of the city. One interesting thing, while I was perusing the shop a person walked in and asked the employees "Do you sell anything aside from Philly teams?" The answer "Absolutely not". The shopping experience started out great...a young female employee was very nice and helpful. We all found quite a few things to purchase...until we noticed the older gray haired male employee with the brown patch on his face who was very obviously following us around. Every time I looked up, wherever we were, he was there, leaning on the racks, peering at us. He didn't follow any of the other customers around because he was so fixated on us. After a while, I told my family 'Everyone put your items down because our business isn't welcomed here because we're being watched.' My daughter in law responded' Clearly it's not'.' We put our items down and watched him watch us leave. Have always preferred supporting local businesses, but not this one ever again.
