Very helpful staff and great racquet demo program. I came to Tennis Junction looking for a new tennis racquet. They have an awesome demo program that lets you demo racquets for 2 months, and your deposit goes toward your purchase. The entire staff was always so friendly, helpful, and informative--I had so many questions about the racquets, and they taught me a whole bunch and talked me through all the things I should consider, and they never pushed me to just buy stuff. Without the demo program and the staff at Tennis Junction, I'd know way less about racquets, and I'm very certain I'd have purchased the wrong racquet for me. Thanks to them, I now have a racquet I know I love and fits me/my style. I'm very thankful for the staff at this store, and will continue to give them my business for re-stringing and any other supplies I need. This is my favorite store on the Main Line. I moved to Ardmore in 2015. First of all, they respect the customers by always wearing a mask. Sanitizer is always available. If you play tennis you have to go to Tennis Junction. They are located in a very convenient location and sell a variety of quality products! The staff is also very helpful! In the past, I have come into Tennis Junction to pickup new pairs of tennis shoes, pick up fresh tennis clothes or to just get tennis advice. The tennis shoes and gear here is just great! They carry all the top brands including Nike, Adidas and more! I did wish they carried Uniqlo, but that is not too big of a concern for me. Always, the staff is kind, professional and courteous. The other day I came in to try out a few new rackets. They had me try a variety of styles and brands based upon on my playing style. I was able to do so via their demo program. The demo program is essentially free as long as you buy a racket from them. Even better, you can try out the racket for around 4-5 days to get a good feel for it. I tried a couple of rackets and the one I liked the most was the Wilson Burn 100s with spin effect. I decided to purchase it. After just 3 days, the racket was in and strung! It was a really great experience! Right now, I have played with my racket a bit and my game is just great! I absolutely destroyed my opponent! As I said a bit before, the staff here is great. Phillip, who I believe is the owner or manager is really nice and helps make sure your racket is great for you. He perfects the grip size and finds the best string. I'm a complete beginner looking to start playing tennis regularly as a fun activity to do with my wife. I was helped by Philip. He picked out a few rackets for me to try and even though I wasn't able to give him too much information about my game, he listened and made thoughtful selections. My wife and I took them down the street to test them out at a local court. He taught me what to look for in a racket and gave me a little pre-printed card with the important things I should think about while testing each racket. His advice and help were fantastic and I am really happy with the racket I ended up picking. I would also like to mention that, even though I'm sure he has regular customers who spend several times more than I did on my visit, I felt like I was the most important customer. Asked for a paid week rental extension on a Babolat racquet for my daughter, with the intent of buying two at $225 there and then and was told no as "others"needed the rental. Only leaving 4 stars because I've only shopped there once, so my experienced is limited, but I left very satisfied with my purchase. I was shopping around for a new racket, having not played in a long time, and the young but knowledgable staff were able to suggest a nice variety too choose from (to demo). I went to the Tennis Junction for the first time today. I was looking for tennis shoes for my daughter- who is new to the sport. I had to ask two associates to point me in the direction of the shoes, and they offered absolutely no assistance with the selection. I had to go back to the associate and ask some follow up questions, which were answered with one word responses. Zero help. Zero assistance. Zero customer service. I would have had better luck talking to my computer and purchasing online. I don't expect my computer to answer questions I have about tennis apparel... but I did expect more after driving to a store. Thanks but no thanks, Tennis Junction. I would rather shop online and take my chances. Try to be a little more helpful and friendlier. Complete waste of the 10 minutes it took to drive to your location. read more

I'm a former player looking to get back into the game, and my wife was a total beginner when. Tennis Junction has a great selection of apparel, and all the standard accessories. The big plus for me is the demo program, it's is very convenient and a better deal than the online competitors I've seen, plus it's a no brainer to support a local business instead of someone I'll never meet or talk to. Phillip and the staff are very helpful and patient in helping you find a racket that suits what you and what you're looking for in your game. Between my wife and I we've probably been through 15 different demos, and it's not been a hassle or stress to go back in and trade them out. Stringing has been timely whenever I've dropped off a racket and the prices seem quite reasonable to me, especially if you're used to country club stringing pricing. No complaints, my only advice - the parking lot is small and it seems quite busy on saturday morning, there's a community shopping center lot across the street about a block away. read more

This place is a joke and I would tell my friends never to go there. I heard from my friend that there is a tennis store so I went there to purchase several items. First, they displayed some tennis clothes but with no size. When I asked them, they said they can back order but I guess they were not ready for business at all without any popular sizes for good looking clothes. Second, I have asked them about some small stuffs like overgrip, dampener, wristbands, etc., and I have purchased the items they recommended - all the items they recommended were with no brand name (such as Wilson, Babolat, etc.). They have just picked them up from a plastic bottle or open display shelf and the wristband was just 'Thick Wristbands' from the company called Unique with two, white wristbands with no mark on them - they simply look cheap. However, they charged me $6.99 for that and, since I was totally a beginner, I simply bought them believing them with no doubt. So with three small rubber dampeners (with no case), a over grip (with no case or no mark on the band) and that cheap wristbands, they have charged over $22. However, when I searched from Web at home, I was really shocked since they have charged nearly or more than double for each item. I have shared this story with my other friends in the tennis club and they were also really upset too. I don't know. If anyone of you feel this is not expensive and they were honest, please ignore this review. I will leave it up to you. However, if you agree this place didn't run honest business, consider this review and, if you really have to go there, please be careful with the price or, at least, please don't let them know you are a beginner!! read more
