I don't know that this is more of a flea market than it is an antiques store, although I have gotten some fairly good deals on some old things. This store used to be a Walmart many years ago without groceries. So if you know Walmart stores with both groceries and general merchandise and take away the grocery side, then you can imagine how big it is. There are so many vendor booths throughout the store with a HUGE variety of things. Almost any vintage things you can imagine may be found there. It's really great if you are into decorating with vintage home decor items. It's usually quiet in there as well which is nice, even when there is a crowd. read more

My husband and I were visiting friends in Opelika and they took us to what they called their favorite antique store. The store is huge and filled with so many interesting things I was able to find a few things I wanted to buy. I brought them to the counter, all had tags attached to them which the cashier removed, rung us up, I paid and we were on our way. Unfortunately, about a week or two later, I received a call from Joanna at the store saying I hadn't paid enough for the items I bought and she said I owed her another $53.41. In good faith, I provided her with my card information and asked her not to process the card until I had a chance to take a closer look at my receipt. She ignored that entirely and put the charge through immediately and after looking at my receipt, I noticed I paid exactly what was marked on the books I bought so I did not owe additional money. This was very rude given that she had the card in hand, so I clearly wasn't trying to avoid working with her. I ended up putting in a complaint to my bank and had the charge debited back to my account. Had they not removed the tags entirely, I could have provided the tags as proof. Lesson learned: demand to keep the tags or take photos of them if you shop here. read more

This is the largest antique mall I've ever seen. You have to look closely since some booths are not well organized. Other vendors are exclusive to a certain theme, such as sports. read more

This is more of a large indoor flea-market than an antique mall. Not many antiques to be had. Still, great place to find home decor and dishes, glassware, and vintage items. I found vintage anchor hocking glassware that looked brand new! read more

This is a really big place to shop. I was here about an hour and a half and only saw almost half of the place. I'd like that they wrap the items up for you and paper if they are breakable so that you are good to go once you leave. Good service as well. And it's easy to navigate. read more

This place is wonderful. The staff is super friendly. Everything is very clean. I was there for over an hour and only got through half the store. It is massive. I was really impressed with the different vendors and what they had to offer I purchased the four different things pictured, and they were all priced very reasonably, I did see some furniture some more expensive than others but I did find some very cute arm chairs that I had to pass up on that were only $25. This is a great place to look for some more niche decor items or some older furniture, whether you want to fix it up or have it as is there is a lot of different corning ware, crystal pieces and lots of silver. This was a pretty typical antiques and flea market. With stalls that are owned by different people with lots of different odds and ends. There were lots of interesting furniture, dolls, books. And some stalls with newer items that were less interesting. It's a huge place. read more

Angel's Antiques and flea market is a new favorite go to place for a day trip. The selection to choose from is wonderful, and the prices were good and fair. It was easy to check out. Everyone there was pleasant and helpful. They loaded my truck, and tied the chair down for me. I will go back soon. read more

Spent hours in here and was able to find a few cool things but sadly, many things were overpriced and it was overwhelming to really try to look at everything. I loved that they had a little area in the back to buy snacks and smoothies. Would love to come back another time and see if I have better luck finding things that are interesting, but not expensive. Saw the sign on I-85 while driving from Houston to Charlotte. Stopped for a quick look. This place did not disappoint. Large in size and packed full of great finds. Four stars only because the pricing was a bit bipolar. Some items that were higher priced were not necessarily higher end, while some of the lower priced were absolute steals. Bring ID even for debit purchases... mine was in the car (big awkward inconvenience, but I'm not from the area so I guess they have their reasoning?). Plenty of parking though the lot is pretty old so expect some rubble etc. read more

We stopped in Angel's while visiting in town. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but inside...wow! It's huge! There are many booths with a wide variety of all kinds of things. Being in Auburn territory, there are also a good amount of War Eagle items too. Give yourself enough time to be able to walk the entire store. The prices vary at each booth. You bring your final purchases to the front and they handle everything there. I would definitely go back! read more

It's a great way to spend an afternoon. The guy that does cinnamon pecans in the back is fantastic and we love leisurely walking around and snacking. It's huge-we usually don't get through the whole thing because it is just so much stuff. Some vendor booths are better than others, probably the best place to hunt for vinyl in the county, at least at the time of this review. read more

This was a great antique mall, it was. Untill it hired cranky old people who didn't care about any antiques you bought. Walked in and was excited to get a steal of a deal with antique ornaments probably older than my grandmother, we reminded the woman bagging the old ornaments they need to be wrapped. She continued to drop the ornaments in the bag glaring at us and tossing in 2 handfuls of bags. Would give half a star but yelp wont let me. Walked back in after trying to wrap the ornaments myself with the broken ornament only to be told that it was too bad. I must have dropped the ornaments I knew were fragile. I was getting attitude from every worker. I'm so disappointed, this USED to be a great antique mall. read more

My husband & I travel quite a bit in the southeast and Angel's Antique & Flea Mall is one of our favorite stops. He likes to check out the vendor booth that sells golf clubs and I like both the Flea side & the Antique side. I found a red wooden brick "hod" wagon (used to move bricks around) that I plan to use to display plants in my yard - now this is a unique antique that I have never seen before anywhere! Close to I-85, Angel's has so many different booths that chances are good you will find things you never knew you needed but are tickled to have stumbled upon - like my new wagon. Worth the drive. I've been to several "thrift" and "antique" malls around here and most of them are filled junk or homemade crafts. This is a legitimate antique mall where you are sure to find what you are looking for. My dad is huge into sewing machines and he spotted FIVE that he rarely sees where he is from. I scored an old botanical wildflower book, a metal basket and a $2 painting! Most prices are fair but several booths had 50% off sales. I will definitely be coming back. The lady that worked the registers, however, was not friendly. She seemed she had a chip on her shoulder but it didn't bother me. Maybe she was having a bad day. read more

We decided to visit Angel's after eating at Cracker Barrel. We wanted to walk some before getting back in the car as we drove from Stone Mountain to Mobile. The place is really big, and for the most part nicely arranged. I'm always looking for Beatrix Potter figurines, and one of the vendors had a couple, but they were priced higher than I can get them on ebay. We spend nearly an hour looking around. The items are varied - from nice antiques to ordinary used household items and toys. The employees seemed disinterested, never greeting us when we entered, never asking if they could help us find anything, and never bidding us good day when we left. The folks who rent spaces there deserve better. read more

I travel from Texas to Alabama several times a year and each time I'm in the area, Angel's is a place that i never miss. I like the atmosphere inside and the convenience of having such a variety of products in a single location. On each of my visits, i find new items and enjoy discovering new antiques. One of the best parts of Angel's is the friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help me find anything I'm looking for and answer all of my questions. On my last visit I found a beautiful lamp for my granddaughter who loves to collect antiques. Another real convenience about Angel's is the central checkout which allows me to do all of my shopping and then only have to pay once. read more

Best place for antiques in alabama by far. They have a great selection of stuff for the whole family. It is right off of 85 so its really easy and quick to get to. Also bring your walking shoes this place is huge! read more
