WARNING: Don't pay them cash upfront, and make sure you get a dated and itemized quote where they agree to show up on specific dates. They do great work whenever they decide to show up or return calls after they've been paid. Getting them to return to finish or maintain a project has been like pulling teeth. They stood us up again for the fifth or sixth time after scheduling a time and date for weeding and maintenance. The only reason they even showed up from the beginning after a no-show, was because I had left them a one star review on Yelp. I agreed to amend my negative review, if I were to give them a second chance. Otherwise, they were content with just leaving us waiting for weeks, scheduling appointments where they would never show up or just ignore our calls and text messages (even though I'd get read receipts that showed they had looked at the messages. Well, after a long multiple-month process of running around after them and crossing our fingers that they would show up the next time, the project was finally complete, but not with errors. We never heard from them again, after waiting around for weed maintenance. I wasn't going to mention this but the irrigation system they reinstalled for us broke within a few short days and they left us stranded with water pouring out of our house for over a week (with no way to turn it off) and an astronomical water bill. There have been multiple instances where they said they would be here in the early morning and they would show up at 4 or 5pm. Never again. read more

We had a Palo Verde tree stump in our yard that needed to be hauled away. The tree had fallen over so the stump was already out of the ground. We had already had the rest of the tree cut up and hauled away. The company that took the rest of the tree never returned for the stump. I contacted 10 different tree companies to take the stump away. Only four responded. I got a quote from one wanting $375 to haul the stump away. The only company that acted like they cared was Angels. He responded in a timely manner and when they showed up he took one look and said $50. They pulled the stump, pulled up and cut the root system and filled in the hole. All in less than an hour. Jose is a great guy. We will be using him for all of our landscaping from now on. read more

Jose Leal IS an angel!! We had a storm blow through that knocked a large mesquite across our driveway. We were able to trim enough to get off of our property, but we needed someone to cut down the rest of our tree and haul away the debris. I called him that morning and that afternoon he was here. Mr. Leal cut down the tree, pulled the stump, and hauled it all away. If it weren't for the parts of the tree that I wanted to keep, you would never know that we had a mesquite fall. I had some rats build a nest in some agaves and my irrigation system wasn't covering all my access points. This company advertises through bulk business mail. We contacted the email listed on the flyer. The next day I was asked to provide my cell phone number and my address both of which were listed in the email. Angel came over the next day to discuss our needs and said that he would provide us with quotes for different tasks. He also said that they could start the following week. I have not heard from them since. Avoid this company unless you want to waste your time. Any reputable company would, at least, tell you that they are too busy or just not interested rather than not respond. LAME! read more

Jose and his crew are far and away the best in the landscape business! I only had to tell Jose once what I wanted and he took it from there. He actually goes above and beyond every time. If he sees something that doesn't look right he corrects it without asking or requiring me or my wife to tell him to do it. One other thing my wife really likes and I've grown to appreciate is that Jose doesn't use chemical weed killers, he and his crew pull the weeds by hand and leave nothing behind. I can't say enough good things about Jose, his company, and the people he has working for him. I've had several landscapers over the years and none come close to the level of Angel's Landscaping. One thing Jose did without me asking or really even thinking to do that impressed me; I had wood logs piled on the side of my house, when I say piled, they were just in a pile, not stacked. I had a metal shelving support there as well, which had been sitting out there for years. He and one of his crew took the metal support, set it up on blocks and then stacked the logs on top as they should have been all along. After he was done I just shook my head thinking WHY hadn't I thought of that, it was the perfect solution and mad good use of something that was just going to waste. read more

I previously used Angel's on several occasions and had been happy with their services. However, they were supposed to be here around 12:30 today and didn't show up. I've sat here all day thinking maybe they were late, and have tried contacting them to no avail. The last time I used them, I had asked if they would be willing to pick up and deliver a heavy treadmill I had purchased via Craig's List as I don't have a truck. They showed up with a full load of debris and equipment on their truck, making this project much more complicated and time consuming than it should have been. I could tell they were not happy when I paid our agreed upon price, but it was through no fault of my own that it was as time consuming as it was.
