Horrible - they refuse to pick up the phone. Since calling isn't an option, I dropped by twice during advertised hours - they weren't open. I was given a referral for a sleep study by my PCP - Angels mishandled the paperwork and then never provided the results of said sleep study (which I paid for). Their activities may qualify as fraud. I reported this to the Better Business Bureau hoping it might elicit a reply - they couldn't be bothered to respond to them, either. I have attached the letter. No matter how desperate you are, do not go here. I was hospitalized for seizures and had a rep of their's visit me during my stay. I called them after getting out to check if they accepted my insurance and ended my call. I was then met with a letter telling me an appointment had been made, called their office the same day with no answer, and left a message requesting they cancel my appointment. Never received a call back and am now being charged for a late fee on an appointment I didn't make and called weeks in advance to cancel. read more

They make you put one star to write a review . This was the weirdest most unprofessional " doctors office " I have ever been in . It looks like a set for a low budget rehab movie that took them 5 minutes to put together . Plastic chairs in a circle makes the "waiting area" . It's a big room in a shopping plaza that has room dividers . I sat and waited to "check out" listening to one of the workers go on and on about the patients she has to talk to on the phone . I never write reviews on anything but do not go here don't waste the drive unless you need medication for no reason . I REALLY like my NP Bridget. I REALLY don't like Angels Neurological as a whole. I think it's a poorly run provider. I had a pressing issue today and I couldn't get anyone on the phone. I got through to an operator to be told no-one takes calls until 9:15am and could I hold and when I said no, I was put on hold anyways. The building, at least in Abington, is very antiquated and could do with being upgraded. I am seriously considering moving to another provider but as mentioned, Bridget Zeigler is great. read more

As a patient of ANC in Abington, I have never seen such poor work ethics. First and for most I tried to give the office the benefit of the doubt for "accidentally" messing my appointment date up not once, not twice, but three times. When I called the office the staff member was very vague on the phone and not considerate at all. I also found that when meeting with the doctor (2 separate appts-eval/test) There was no time for me to ask the doctor questions, I felt awkward and not welcomed, and the doctors desk and office was messy and papers were scattered all over the desk and some things were scattered on the floor. Working in a medical office myself I have never been more disgusted on how I was treated, and how the presentation of my entry as a new patient was handled. I called to cancel my follow up appt on my EMG results about a month ago, because I knew my results were sent to my PCP who I called and she told me I was good, and the EMG didn't show anything concerning. Just 2 days ago I got a text/email confirmation on my appt, that I cancelled. I called the office because I told them I already cancelled this appt. (the third appt mess up). When the staff member asked why I was cancelling I told her I wasn't sure why I needed to even come in to discuss my results if my PCP got the results, and also if there was no issues, then that is plenty reason to not have to keep the appt. The young lady that I spoke with told me that I was unable to get my results over the phone, and it must be discussed in office. Especially if there was anything major that occurred. I said as a patient calling on MY OWN results I should be legally allowed to know if everything is a clear. I was specifically told by the front desk staff that "the doctor doesn't have enough time to call all his patients on the results and I need to come in the office". Glad the doctor has no time for their patients. Great answer! I said if I am good, then I should be able to get a thumbs up, and if there are issues then I can see why I need come in. The system they are following/trying to do is a joke. They are basically telling me I need to pay ANOTHER copay to come in for the doctor to tell me I am "all set" in 10 mins, to then go home. Keep in mind the doctor gets paid for that visit as well; to read results. Which is exactly how my last two appt went. terrible place. they never answer the phones and never call back. everything is by email. if your elderlyand are not use to that to bad. Their billing department is terrible. they bill you months later with additional fees. They never bill correctly. but no one returns your calls to discuss it. the Dr will tell you they are going to get a referral and when it's approved they will contact you so they can start the procedure but they never call. the only way to make an appointment is to email. if you use the Healow to ask to talk to the Dr. about tests results you can ask 4 times. it's not until you threaten that you want your files that they give you a generic answer. very unprofessional way of doing business. They were supposed to fill out paperwork and send it in to my HR department by May 13. I have faxed it twice, have brought it into the office in person twice, and I have handed it to the director of the department once. Additionally, I called after every fax to hear verbally that the fax was received and would be brought to my doctors attention and filled out immediately. I have called nearly every day after the due date, asking why it hasn't been filled it yet. I've heard everything from "we will make sure the doctor fills it out today and we will call you as soon as it sent "(which has never happened by the way), to " oh we just got this yesterday!" ( after I had personally delivered it to the department head a week prior, in addition to delivering it in person that week, as well as faxing it twice two weeks before that). Yesterday, I was finally told that the doctor had seen it and was happy to fill it out, but he wanted to see me at his office again and that I should drive an hour and a half, concussion, nausea and all, to see him in an office in Abington. What the crap?! I gave him the paperwork two days after he had seen me in his office. If they had filled it out when they were supposed to, we wouldn't be having this conversation! I will be writing negative reviews for them all over the place. If they cost me my job because of their ineptness, then there will be more than just bad reviews to come. For now, suffice it to say, don't ever go to angels. I saw the doctor in Brighton. The doctor is nice in person, as is everyone else, but, niceness doesn't run a business. Should you need paperwork completed, you'll be waiting a month or more (I have yet to get mine completed). read more

I have a rare medical condition that causes me to be in pain everyday. I get flair ups that the pain goes from like a 4/10 to a 9/10 and they can last for weeks. Sometimes I need spinal taps to stop the pain. I was finally diagnosed by a neurologist from a different facility and began treatment. Unfortunately, my insurance changed and I had to come here. I'm just frustrated with everything about this place, it's brought me to tears. I've called when I had flair ups and asked them to prescribe me something, anything to make it go away. The pain keeps me up at night, causes me to vomit everywhere and everything, isolates me to a dark room with no sound, heck I've even lost jobs over it. But when you call them you're lucky if they call back the same day and when they did they weren't helpful. Their doctors are also second guessing all the work that my original neurologist did. I also have kidney problems as a result of my neurological condition. Whenever I have what my doctor and I thinks could be a medical emergency or I'm in pain (ex. A kidney stone) he has me come in the same day or MAYBE the next day if it's late in the day that I call. When I call this office im lucky to get an appointment within the same month. I'm still a new patient there and maybe it will take time for them to get to know me and better understand my condition, I don't know. What I do know is that I'm in pain and I'm exhausted of fighting. Going there I just feel like a sponge and they are trying to put bandaids on me to cover up all the holes, but soggy bandaids don't stick. read more

Sadly Bridget is less then helpful and fails to follow thru in a timely fashion with referrals. Only open 9-5... one patient on the waiting room waited 3 hours to be seen and she had a scheduled appointment, I waited 75 minutes. 80% of the time, they call canceling my appointments, after I already made arrangements. I just came back from Angel Neurological. I had an appointment at 4:45, and when I got there they told me I didn't have an appointment. I even confirmed it on the email they sent me. Then they found it on the master list whatever that is, but they still wouldn't take me. Now I have to wait until June 19. My symptoms are worse than when I saw him last, and I am so upset that I don't know what to do. The girl was very apologetic, but her supervisor wouldn't fit me in. I can't believe this happened to me. I am seeing my primary care doctor tomorrow. Maybe she can help me. My symptoms have been going on since February, and the waiting and the tests and the appointments take forever, and now this. read more

I would not go back here. If I'd had a more debilitating injury and couldn't have advocated for myself, I would have fallen through the cracks because the front desk / office workers didn't do their job. After a concussion back on July 1st I went to Angels and saw a different NP each time for post concussion syndrome. Some of the NP's have been very good and taken a decent amount of time with me but the first one, Mario, was just awful. He was brushing off my symptoms and the things I was saying and seemed like he had never treated a concussion before. He was no help to me and left me feeling discouraged. I did not get to see an actual neurologist until I specifically requested it, in which case he only took maybe 2 minutes to talk to me and seemed to brush off my concerns. One of the better NP's referred me for a neuropsych evaluation (which Mario refused to do for me, saying "those are just for people with learning disabilities". Wrong. Google it.) at Beth Israel in Boston and to a concussion clinic in Braintree. It took about 2.5 months and 4 or 5 phone calls, plus a visit to Angels before I found out that my information was not even sent to Beth Israel, it was sent to a Taunton Neuro Psych, whom I specifically requested NOT to see. Not only that, all along the front dest people had been telling me over the phone that the info got sent, it should be no problem and I should be expecting a call soon. Michelle, one of the office workers/schedulers was very rude to me and actually told me that the reason it was sent to Taunton was because my insurance doesn't cover Beth Israel, which is flat out wrong. (I am being treated there at this time.) So after all this time, getting misleading and flat out wrong information from the desk workers and very mixed experiences with the Doc's / NP's, I still had no referral appointment made and had to make the appointment myself. It should NOT have taken this long. Concussions and TBI's should be treated in a timely manner. There should be better management of the scheduling staff. People with brain injuries can't afford this kind of malpractice. I still have not heard back from the concussion clinic but at this point I wonder if it would be even worth it. If you go here, be prepared to ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF and triple check to make sure the schedulers and desk staff follow up and do their job. I hate giving bad reviews. I actually don't like yelp because it can be misleading but take these concerns seriously. It's probably worth going into Boston to a more reputable neurologist. read more

I feel that these Drs look at the root of your conditions and work to find solutions.. every Dr I have had in the last few years has been great as some move up and on with company's.. but have such care and detail with all your concerns.. making a list of my conditions helped me stay focused and we worked close on my plan.. the receptionists are so detailed and follow up with calls.. as well as convenient bookings soon.. I am posting the same review as I posted on Tauntons Angels, as it applies to both! I have been to the Abington and Taunton offices. In Abington every time I have been there, the desk staff acts like your invisible. You go up to the window upon check in and they do not even look up to acknowledge you. This is my experience anyway. They are not on the phone or helping another patient.. they just ignore.. Nothing they were doing made them so busy they could not even look up and welcome us and let us know it would just be a minute, or tell us they would be right with us. They are young and immature kids. Even on checkout with the doctor RIGHT there, I had gone up to the window and I am standing there with my paper work trying to hand it to her, it has all the information she needs on it to schedule our next appointment, what the appointment is for, when it needs to be scheduled, I am holding it up to her and shes IGNORING me, waiting for the Dr. and asking him over and over again, interrupting him just to find out what we need. Instead of just asking me, or taking the paper work or even acknowledging I was at the window. She just looked up, looked away and that was it. It is like they want to make it a point that you are bothering them. In Taunton, it wasnot as bad but I was still not akcnowledged upon walking in. The girl stared at her computer until she felt like she was ready for me, again no "Good afternoon" or "Just a moment" nothing. When she did acknowledge me she was atleast nice. Can not say that much for the girls in Abington. As for scheduling appointments, I got my first 3 immediately, practically on demand, it was almost as if they were just trying to drag us in and hook us as a patient for the money. Then as soon as we got our diagnoses, we can not get another appointment. The doctor specifically said he wanted to see us in a week, no later, no matter what.. yet there was apparently no appointments. They would not fit us in at all. The doctor just kind of walked away for them to deal with it and they did not deal with it! The doctor also mentioned some things he was concerned about and said remind him of it next appointment. There were like 3 different things I was to remind him of, instead of him taking note of it and putting it in the chart, he wanted ME to remind him.. well when I did, he looked at me like I had 3 heads and said oh "thats no big deal, thats fine" like no need to worry about that. Well then why did he act concerned at the previous appointment and why did he want me to remind him of it. He did not even seem to remember what I was talking about. I came here so I didnt have to drive to Boston, I don't have the gas money and I always get lost there, as far as I know this is the only place outside of Boston but I could be completely wrong. I am definitely doing more research because I am not happy with this place at all. I almost wonder if the diagnoses is a fake just to keep a patient. Because, it seems like all they care about is keeping a full schedule and nothing about the patients or what is actually going on with them! And yes the wait time is ridiculous. A good 30-45 minutes after your scheduled time. There was nobody else in the whole building and we still waited 45 minutes. Oh and while sitting in the waiting room the girls behind the desk started talking about how her brothers girlfriend broke up with him and she was going on and on about she was starting trouble with her brothers girlfriend and telling her off on facebook because of it. TOTALLY unprofessional. Oh yeah (I keep thinking of more things) On check out in the Taunton office, the whole front area around the desk smelled like cigarettes from them going out and smoking right next to the door. God, I could go on and on abou this place I guess. read more

This is the first time I have ever put in a review, but I felt obligated to in hopes of warning people of this place... I went to the Abington location. Although I got my initial appointment right away, the place was very unprofessional. The doctor said I needed a CT Scan for my headaches to make sure they weren't caused by a serious issue. He also prescribed me a painkiller that he said "may cause kidney damage"...(I'm not sure I'd rather get kidney damage than headaches). When I went to the desk the receptionist told me they would notify me within "a few days" with an appointment for my CT Scan. After over a week without hearing anything, I e-mailed them about the status of my appointment. They replied saying that they were "well aware I needed the ct scan" and that they couldn't make the appointment until they "read the doctor's notes"...(the doctor's office is right next to where they sit...) When well over a MONTH went by with no contact, I called my insurance provider and they said there was never any request for the test. I also contacted my primary care physician and they said this is way too long to be waiting for just an appointment date for the ct scan. After all this, all I received was a letter in the mail from them stating that they rescheduled my follow-up appointment -without my knowledge( and still nothing on my scan). Real nice. I then e-mailed them to cancel that appointment and relayed my concerns and disappointment about my needed scan and they never replied. Needless to say, I was referred to another neurologist who has much better ratings than this place...God help the person who has a really serious problem and needs tests done. My daughter, Lisa and I have been patients at this. Office for 16 years. Dr. Eneyni is awesome and so is Crystal, however the front staff is extremely incompetent. I have been trying for one week to get a refill on a med for Lisa and still it has not been received by the pharmacy. I have called three times since Monday 11/4/2014 and each Iperson has had a different excuse for the delay. She has been taking this med for years and at the same pharmacy, but they insist I am wrong. This is unacceptable. I will be at the office on Monday morn. and I will get the script in hand myself. I went to Angels back in 2013-2014 for my migraines. i have to say i saw at least 3-5 different doctors, felt like they kept changing every time i came in. they kept trying different drugs on me untill day i decided to stop and change bunch of stuff in my life and do yoga and invest in massage therapy (which helped). I also got 3 shots of botox in my shoulders. Stuff never new about my insurance and sometimes they would charge me co pay and sometimes they wont. then they sent me bill for the shot - which i paid. in 2015. then i got another bill for the other shot - I sent check in to pay it. I got it back saying i dont owe anything and PIF. guess my surprise now 2016 i get a call from collector office???? i owe them over $500 from 2014. how wrong is this. why you told me i paid in full. why you didnt send me bills? why i get call from collectors 2 years later. guess what - my headaches are back, thank you much Angels! so ironic. working with collectors now to settle something which shouldnt have gotten to this point. read more
