The trees were the twenty five gallon size and delivered right to my home. All the trees are large and healthy. My poinciana tree has a place of honor in the front yard. It's the official tree of Key West, and after seeing them bloom, you know why they were chosen. I would recommend Clark's nursery for anyone who is looking to add trees and shrubs to their yard. The prices are good and the plants are healthy.

On a recent visit, some of the plants were looking a little rough, including the salvias I bought, but with the recent heatwave, it's no wonder some plants aren't looking their best. The guys are helpful if you need hay or bags of garden soil loaded and someone always asks if you need help, when they see you browsing the plant aisles. They have a good variety of healthy plants. although the bougainvillea selection was way down, which is why I stopped by on this visit. Prices are mostly reasonable and plants I've bought at this garden center have done well. The store has a covered area and sun area, so you can see plant requirements at a glance. Gardening in zone 10 can be a challenge, but Golden Gate Nursery has you covered.

Most of their plants were priced less than the big box stores and you got a much better plant for that lower price. The plants were not marked well in that it was difficult to find names and care instructions. The workers could answer question knowledgeably and then they would write up a tag. You then took the tag inside to pay. Other than a few more signs or printed instruction I have no other suggestion

He actually mowes the whole yard (2.7acres) in spite of the fact that there has been some major construction stuff to deal with. His price has been much better than the previous teams and he's even called ahead to schedule since our construction started...and he shows up! He mows, trims, weed whacks, and sprays weed killer. On two occasions he's managed the huge pines (one construction and the others dead). Not only taking them down but hauling them and stump grinding.
