We initially thought we'd foster her for adoption due to her dog aggression issues. After working with Travis, we decided togive Rosie a forever home ourselves. We brought Travis in to privately train her so she didn't have to deal with the stress of a group setting and because we wanted a tailored training program. With Lone Star Dog Training, we received an excellent job. Travis educated us about how training is important and what results he felt we could see. Over the course of 4 months, Rosie went from being aggressive toward our other dogs to feeling safe and comfortable with them. She's even adopted our 12 year old border terrier as her sister. Rosie has progressed from a frightened stray who did not wag her tail or understand how to take affection, to bounding and leaping with joy when she sees her people. She now seeks out our affections and looks forward to spending time with us. If not for Lone Star Dog Training, we would not have decided to keep her. They have labeled my 12 year old dog as hard to handle and charge $10 more and on top of that, this last haircut was awful. She has long strands all over and her feet look chopped up. They should have took off money instead of an extra charge. My dog seemed extremely tired and was very shaky. Unlike, how she has been at other visits. I'm not saying they gave or sprayed anything on her but she wasn't herself. However I do not recommend this location. I hesitated to bring her back after the last few grooming hoping to find a decent grooming on the list. Nope it just got worse. Never again at the Lufkin location.

I then had to drive 2 additional hour out of the way to PETCO that held a turtle for me "considering I was driving so far away" The turtle was for my 3 year old best friends son's birthday, that has begged for a turtle since he could talk. Then they text me at 4pm ish the day before to say that the Vet has an appointment with her Children the next afternoon and will not be able to make our appointment. I had already been told about the appointment with her children the next day that is why we scheduled the appointment for 2:30 before the appointment. So I guess the Vet decided that we were the last appointment so she should cancel it and then get off early. Meanwhile, My cat has a swollen paw and needs to bee seen. Oh we can drop her off and they put her in a cage until they get a minute to see to her. Doesn't matter if this is upsetting to her only if it is convenient for them and they get to leave early,,, So I guess caring about the patient doesnt count or how she will feel being stuck in a cage for however long it takes to finally get around to her. I thought that VET EMILY cared about her patients,, I guess I was wrong.. WE will find a new vet one that will actually care about their patients and not mind to keep their appointments once their confirmed unless its an EMERGENCY,,

The entire staff treated my pets like they were there own. They keep a very clean facility and the staff are professionals through and through. I appreciate that Dr. Emily will take the time to respond personally to questions/concerns and even at later hours. I will be taking my goat for a procedure in the next week and update my experience then. I don't suspect it will change. They do take Care Credit so that is helpful for the more expensive trips. They offer an early drop off which is convenient for my schedule. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. It is a hidden East Texas gem.

We started with a detailed safety orientation that included voice and physical commands, my body leaning angles for uphills and downhills, and what to expect from the horse. We rode the trail for an enjoyable ride. During the ride the wind blew off my hat and we continued the ride. Back at the corral at the end of the ride I sat in the shade while the nice lady went back and got my hat back to me. The Roselake Ranch is a large multi-purpose ranch with a variety of animals. They also had small horses for childrens rides. They have Christmas events for children.

Approximately 10 seconds after my initial search, it was very obvious that Scott was the easy decision. He's been collecting reviews for years and virtually all of them are 5-stars. It was a virtual guarantee that we would be happy if we called Scott. So we called Scott. Yes, these services are not cheap. But you get what you pay for and what you pay for here is a human being who speaks dog. Owning a puppy can be the source of unlimited stress, but you can really minimize that stress when you have someone like Scott to help you learn how to tackle all of the issues that pop up along the journey. And honestly, you plan to have a puppy in your life for many years - getting good behavior for potentially a decade+ is not money you are going to regret spending. We purchased the middle-tier package which consisted of 5 visits (4 in home and 1 at a park) + the opportunity to reach out to him whenever we have any future issues and need a bonus session or just some help. Scott came to our house for visit #1, and I will never forget how hard I laughed when he *immediately* transformed our girl from a cracked out puppy to a completely submissive and obedient dog after a simple, two-step action. And his method is never to hurt your dog - this is all done by just mimicking the behavior of an older dog who is teaching a puppy how to behave. Each visit resulted in better and better behavior. As of this writing, our puppy is 5 months old, but we have greatly accelerated her emotional intelligent, far behind her actual age. Our last visit was at a big park that had a dog park and a playground. There were a bunch of kids playing on the playground and they wanted to come say hello and pet our dog. Of course, I forgot all of *my* training and was failing to control her from jumping and being crazy. Scott patiently watched me messing up, and eventually, calmly walked over, took the leash, did his two step command, and just like the first day: POOF, it was like an exorcism. Suddenly, she was calm and submissive, allowing the toddlers to pet her without anymore lunatic behavior. The group of parents literally ooh'd and ahh'd at this marvel. I'm so glad others were able to witness his magic. And I'm so glad Scott was one of our first calls after we brought Birdie into our lives. I highly recommend you do the same.

Because your website clearly states that you offer 24/7 emergency services, I called expecting at the very least some level of urgency, compassion, or guidance. Instead, I was essentially told "good luck." When a pet owner is scared, desperate, and trying to get help for an animal in pain, that kind of response is incredibly unprofessional and completely lacking in empathy. If a hospital advertises emergency availability, there should be a reliable system in place to either provide care or direct pet owners to immediate help -- not dismiss them in one of the most stressful moments possible. I understand emergencies can be busy, but the total lack of concern for my dog's condition was unacceptable. No pet owner should be left feeling abandoned when their animal is sick and actively suffering. I see why there rating is so low! This place does not seem legit! Good luck Angelina County! What's worse is I was 10 minutes from the establishment and started heading that way once the person on the phone told me that they were talking to their supervisor about meeting me arrived on site and seeing people inside the building.
