Maybe be a little nicer! I went in to get fabric, in the middle of cutting mine you stopped to take care of another customer then asked me why I was " just standing there" so very rude! I would give zero stars if possible and will never shop there again! read more

My sewing machine died in the middle of a project. When the gentleman working took the machine he told me that it would usually take a week. Knowing that I was working under a deadline, he added a note for the repair man letting him know my situation. I got the machine back in two days!!! Great customer service! Everyone is extremely helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. They remember you when you come in and it feels like family. There is so much to see in the store, every time I go I still have only seen a small part of all the great stuff! They have lots of amazing sewing/embroidery machines & are very knowledgeable about them all. They have products I have not seen anywhere else. This store is under new ownership (apparently again, as this is recent). The owner is very friendly, and helpful. Her staff follow her lead, and they are all so very helpful, and their follow-up is fantastic. They're just as friendly whether I make a purchase, or let them know I'm just curious. Specifically - Last March, I was in the market for a new serger. I had done a lot of research, checked out some other stores, and then came in here with a list of questions to see what they might say. I am THRILLED with my purchase (I bought the Babylock Accolade, which is a combination Serger/Coverstitch). Before I'd even completed the purchase, they were encouraging me to sign up for lessons, and even waived the fee for the 1st class. I've now had 3 or 4 lessons, 2 more scheduled so far, and the staff continue to be both helpful & informative. The instructor is very knowledgeable in sewing, embroidery and sergers (my coverstitch is coming up - but I expect she'll be great with that, too). Realizing that the inventory of any store is limited by space, this store carries quite a varied inventory, including Babylock, Brother & Juke. They have sewing machines, quilting machines, embroidery machines (single & multi needle), sergers, and even a higher end Brother Scan n Cut. They carry a modest selection of fabric, a large collection of embroidery thread, embroidery software, and more presser feet, tools, kits, notions and other stuff that I cannot even remember it all. They now have a loyalty program, and it looks like you get to spin a wheel if you spend more than $50 in one purchase. It looks like fun! You can also find them on Facebook, and they're doing new things all the time. They love customer interaction!! Now for a more serious side note - this time for the disabled. My adult daughter is completely dependent, in a wheelchair & non-verbal (though she understands what is being said, and has a killer smile!). When they see us at the door, they rush to open the door for us. While in the store, ALL the staff has taken time to greet my daughter and ask her questions (my daughter can communicate through facial expressions). They have taken the time to learn her name, and they greet her by name. If there is something we cannot reach or access, someone is right there to cheerfully give us a hand. After any class, when I need to push my daughter's chair AND pull the trolly with my machine, the owner herself has taken the trolly right out to our van! I know I often jump up on an ADA soapbox when something is wrong, and then pick apart even the smallest of things. Here is one of the few opportunities I have to be quick to point out where people are just doing it all right. I am seriously impressed with their service and their attitudes, and my daughter loves this store and the people! read more

I have bought 4 machines from Angels. I love this place. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The free lessons offered with the purchase of the machine are great and they cover a variety of topics. Lessons are fun, and I have taken a couple of lessons more than once and have learned different techniques each lesson. There are also classes you can take, which are great as well. My last purchase was a gently loved machine. I had never bought a gently loved machine and I was concerned. Laura, the owner assured me I was getting a good machine. She went over and above any customer service expectations I ever had. I am very impressed with the customer service Laura and her Angels provide, and I highly recommend Angels 100%. read more

I don't know the situation with Laura E either, but I Love Angels! The owner and staff has never been anything but friendly and helpful with everything I have ever needed there! They have always been extremely caring and generous with their time. I bought my last sewing machine there, and am now considering retiring my serger for a new one, and I will most certainly purchase it from them! read more

I bought a serger over a year ago, probably a year and a half - a pretty expensive Baby Lock. Well, life happened and I never used it. I just called them up and told them that and the owner immediately just said "would you like to come in for a lesson?" and offered me a time tomorrow morning. No charge, no fuss, no judgment - just help. So I'm not sure what happened to Laura E, but I certainly don't think they sell and then don't care. The lesson I went for when I bought it was excellent, and I have no doubt my refresher will be also. I'll also add that when I bought it she gave me a very decent trade in value for a 20 year old Pfaff serger. I'd researched what I could get for it on ebay etc, so I know it was a good value. I was treated courteously, but not like a potential machine purchaser. I have found on several occasions that they didn't have the arts I needed. They appear to mainly sell machines and offer various classes and workshops. I have my go to dealer for buying machines, and a local repair shop where I can usually pick up common parts such as screws, stitch plates or other items without having to order them. I have patronized the previous owner, and she was not popular! The store is handy for accessories such as thread, needles and other commonly needed things.. read more

The new owner is shockingly abrasive and rude to her customers. If she doesn't develop better customer service skills quickly she will not stay in business for very long. She is very friendly when you are in the process of buying your sewing machine but once she closes that sale she treats people with a great amount of impatience and hostility. I had heard things about her nasty behavior from a former employee and now I understand what they're talking about. read more

I repair seats for a school bus company and I use a very old singer industrial machine. I brought it to angel's to be repaired. The result was far beyond my expectations. I visited this store today and I can say this will be the first and last time I do. The staff are extremely rude! My Mother went to return a spool of thread that she couldn't use and when my Mother stated she would like a refund and not exchange the Staff Member said "for two dollars and ninety cents?" Then after looking at some finished wall hangings, I asked if they could be purchased finished instead of buying the kit and to which the Staff Members reply was "you couldn't afford it". How insulting, who is she to determine what I can or cannot afford. Very poor Customer Service. Not a way to do business. read more
