They may say hello, but seems like they treat the regulars with more respect. They'll talk on and on with them, super friendly, but when it's time for you to check out and pay they're all business and don't have much to say. Even as they're cutting your fabric for which you'll be handing over some good cash! (They're not cheap) Really quite rude..one of the sisters in particular. It's a small shop and seems like they would want to create a better image for new customers. Like, we value and appreciate you coming in. Instead they come off as snobby. The other day I made a booboo while checking out and they were calm and pleasant when they had to re-ring up my whole stack of quarter yards - no eye rolling, just a deep breath and a wide smile. I was "having a day" and they couldn't have been more helpful. My latest find is their skeins of Queensland cotton worsted - the colors make my potholders sing and it has a great hand feel. For example, there may be a really cute pattern in blue and green but you won't find the same pattern in any other colors. I find I can't source the majority of a quilt here. I do like that I can see solid colors in person, this is really helpful. Price per yard on all quilting fabrics is excellent. Ability to find novelty fabrics is good. Overall I find I don't do as well here as I used to do when they were in Framingham. Quilting tool selection is also limited.

I called Appliance Warehouse in Seabrook this morning (2026-07-13) and spoke with some guy. I…read morecouldn't find all my purchase documents for a GE Refrigerator at the time and recently began having a problem with the ice maker and the tray in the freezer section. The guy said they only had records going back 3 years which seemed really odd. I provided him with my name and phone number. Eventually he did find the order and told me that I bought the refrigerator in December 2020 and purchased a 5-year warranty at the time. Essentially that was the end of the call. You would at least think he could offer up a repair service or something. Ok, the warranty expired, but his attitude really sucked. I had another purchase from them. It doesn't take much effort to make someone feel appreciated as a customer. I may end up buying another refrigerator, why would I even consider darkening their doorway again.
