Wisteria looks frightened because Angela took this at Angels wish at one of the adoption events.

Terrible, terrible, terrible animal rescue. I would never recommend this rescue to anyone else. I fostered with them for almost 2 months. Had two of my fosters adopted out and a couple transferred to different fosters, per Angela Jaskot. (Although that was never necessary)! Today, 02/22/2025, we dropped off two of our fosters -- Magnolia & Wisteria. Which, a friend of mine had asked if I could foster them, I of course said yes and asked if AW would consider intaking them, which they did. All was fine up until today. (As of late, Magnolia has had random and unknown fur loss, intermittent and excessive vomiting at times). I'd ask Angela about a vet appointment on numerous occasions of which she declined and shoved it off as something else. (That she was allergic to fish, anxious, stressed, etc), something non-medical. Which had come to be VERY normal for Angela. That was one of my biggest frustrations with AW -- was how seemingly challenging it was to get in for a vet visit. To continue .. on today, 2/22... We loaded Mag & Wisteria up and took them to the center for an adoption event. Approximately around 12pm, I receive a text from Angela stating that she was moving Magnolia to a different foster because "she was closer to the vet" and Wisteria was going with so "she had a friend"... both ridiculous excuses if you'd ask me!!! We're furious and heartbroken for both of our fosters ... that we're never going to get to see again ... and for their wellbeing, sanity and happiness. For further context, these two girls... and their brother, Rowan, when they all came to me ... they were petrified. They were found living on a farm and were rescued by an elderly gentleman that had brought them inside for a few days, before I trekked to Boscobel to pick them up. After the initial acclimation phase of a week or less, they had slowly but continually started to warm up to us! We were making great progress with them. We're beyond furious and disgusted that Angela Jaskot and Angels Wish acted SO selfish, secretive, demeaning, disrespectful and with the ill intent of acting and doing so behind our backs and failed to consider communicating with us prior to doing. I am broken hearted for both of my foster girls, Magnolia & Wisteria. I'm maddened, sick and furious that these poor sweet kitties have to go through this bullshit again and have to go through an entire re-acclimation phase with wherever AW chose to send them. It's selfish and cruel that Angela Jaskot and AW chose to act in this selfish, cruel, immature and disgusting way. How will I ever have peace and be able to recover and feel comfortable knowing I'll never be able to see or communicate with these wonderful kitties again?!?!!! That's right!!!... I won't! I will NEVER, EVER forgive AW for acting in such a cruel and sick way. It shows their true colors and what a terrible rescue they are!!! I will never, ever, never forgive them. Angels Wish should be called "Devils Demise", or something along those lines. They need some new people running it to have any faith at becoming a better rescue again! Take yourself and your sanity elsewhere before ever considering to adopt out of Angels Wish. Do yourself a huge favor!!! It also shows how they lack to appreciate their Foster's and all they actually do for the rescue -- not only to help the animals!!!! But, further... to help keep their fng rescue afloat!!!! Your fosters are the backbone of your rescue -- and WE are what keep you in business and what keeps your rescue alive. We help the animals in need!!! You do not! You deserve 0 out of 1 billion stars!!! I am thankful for my one cat I was able to adopt from you. If there ever an issue with said animal -- I can guarantee you to hell and back -- that if one things for certain -- she would never ever NEVERRRRRR be returned to Angels Wish!!! Regardless of the circumstances!!! Extenuating or not!!!! See two of the three beautiful babies I rescued ... that they stole from me as a foster. I worry about these two day in and day out. What a sick and disgusting organization!!!

Specifically, to the Reliable Recall Class. This is because, Karrera, would completely blow you off when you called her to come. I can not tell you how many times she ran across the farmer's field whether it was corn or soybeans. This was after excavating her way out of the fenced in yard. I finally said to my other half. We need HELP! I contacted Dog's Best Friend and worked with Chelse in the Reliable Recall Class 1. Karrera did well with this class however, we felt that we should enroll her in the class, again, so we did. She was successful after the second time around and then, the Reliable Recall Class 2 came along. So, we enrolled her in that class. She did well. Fast forward several years later. I took Karrera hunting in our backyard in the month of August so, the corn was tall. She got to the point in hunting that she got frustrated and took off into the corn field. I thought to myself, I am never going to see her again! And at that moment I remembered to whistle 3 times. Well, guess who showed up at the front door? YES! KARRERA! Now fast forward, again, Karrera is going to be 13 years old on November 1, 2025. I took her hunting in Indiana. I had on me a treat pouch with cooked Lamb (this is something that our dogs only get when we are at shows or hunting). I called her, she came, I treated! She got to her first sett (hole in the ground) and I took her off her leash. When I wanted her to come to me, I would whistle 3 times, she came, I treated. She was off leash running smelling and being a dog. Yes, I was still nervous about her being off leash but, this Reliable Recall Class is worth it's weight in Gold! If there is any class that I would recommend to any one it will be this one! Thank you, Dog's Best Friend and Chelse for helping me and Karrera. With that said, I am also a breeder of Jack Russell Terriers and I start doing a whistle recall as soon as when the puppies are 3-4 weeks old. This way they go home with a basic recall at 10 weeks. People are really impressed when they come pick up their puppy and they are already coming to them on a basic whistle.

This is the only one that bothered to find out about my specific goals for my dog and the only one that bothered to get to know my dog. I think everyone in the place came out to meet her and watch her at her first training. I had the usual reservations about using an e-collar on my dog (is it inhumane? Is it punishment? Would her personality change?) Andrew carefully demonstrated the collar to me and when we used it on my dog she did not indicate that she was in any distress. She learned quickly and seemed very proud of her accomplishments. At home, even without the collar she continues to do the things she learned in her only lesson. Two days after her first training, she was diagnosed with Heartworm. Because she must be kept still throughout the long treatment she cannot attend training, go to dog parks, doggy day care or even run. Sit Means Sit refunded my money, did not charge me for the lesson, offered advice on how to keep her still, and offered to continue to help when I needed it. I am forever grateful. When my dog is better (cross your fingers) I plan to bring her back. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and his team for any dog issue whether it is a serious problem dog or a dog like mine who is a little timid, wants to kiss every child she sees and just needs a few skills to reinforce safe behaviors.

They have a great selection, enough to choose from but not too many where it becomes overwhelming. Note the parking lot can get busy so there is also street parking available on Midvale Blvd. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. I brought my dog in a few months ago and was looking to change up her food. They offered me many samples and explained their return policy. If you open a large bag of food and your dog doesn't like it, you can return it. So don't be scared to try new food for your pets, they will take back open bags. They also have canned food, fresh dried food, and frozen food options for both cats and dogs. One of my favorite items in the store are these cute cat beds that look like a big mitten. They are locally made in the Madison area. My dog's favorite section is the bones. I discovered these cool bones that are considered cheese chews. It takes awhile for my dog to chew through this bone but once she does you can put the last bit of the bone in the microwave and it turns into a treat. After checking the cameras, I witnessed dogs left completely unattended--humping, crowding each other, and on the verge of what looked like a potential fight, with no staff present. When I mentioned this at pickup, I expected concern or at least a willingness to investigate. Instead, I was met with a defensive response: "Well, when were you looking at the cameras?" This reaction felt unprofessional and dismissive given the seriousness of the issue. At this point, I no longer feel that this facility is trustworthy. There also appears to be an excessive number of dogs crammed into one play area, and staff couldn't provide a clear answer on what their capacity or safety cap was. The location itself raises concerns as well--any time I'm at the nearby Costco, I can hear the dogs barking nonstop at the surrounding noise, with no correction or effort to bring them inside. The entire operation seems chaotic and poorly managed. I'm sharing my experience now because I've seen that others have had similar concerns. Recently, someone in a local Facebook group shared that their dog was attacked at this facility, and according to them, staff claimed they had no idea how it happened and weren't aware of the incident at all. This only reinforces my belief that supervision and communication here are severely lacking. Based on what I've witnessed and what others have reported, I do not believe this is a safe or responsibly run daycare, and I will not be returning.
