She has an excellent eye for complimenting your skin tone with her endless shadows, blushes, and lipstick. She is a true talent and so classy. I don't know why I've waited so long to review Rebelle Makeup. Let me start by saying that Angelica's work is the BEST ever! I've been getting my makeup done by her for the past 2 years now and OMG, I always look AMAZING after she is done! She always transforms me into something beautiful (I don't mean to be conceded but she does!) I can tell her what I want (smoky eyes, heavy makeup, light makeup, etc.) and she ALWAYS gives me exactly what I ask for. She is a very talented makeup artist who knows what she is doing! I've gotten my makeup done before in other places when Angelica has not been available and when I got eyelashes put on, I can feel them. Angie is such a talented make-up artist. I am into the natural look, and was never into wearing too much make up. Angie knows how to make me look "made over" without making it look like I have so much make up on. I've never found anyone who is able to do this. Because I like the natural look, other artists I've tried have instead, put less make up on me which has caused it to fade away within hours. When Angie does my make up it looks the way I want it to and it lasts ALL DAY!!! I am very happy I found Angie. I will never go to anyone else. She did my make up for my wedding along with all the bridesmaids and I can't tell you how many people asked me who did my make up. Amazing this girl knows her makeup. I recently had my makeup done by Angie for a wedding. I was a bridesmaid. Angie is very friendly. She asked if I had any pictures of the way I prefer my makeup for the event. I showed her and she gave me exactly the same look. The products she uses are of high quality. I usually hate getting my makeup done by new people, because I always feel like I have cake batter on my face when I leave. NOT WITH ANGIE! She has such a soft touch and a great eye for colors and skin tones. My face looked flawless and I felt great when I left. It stayed on all day and night. I wish there was a 6th star to rate. I went to Angie today at 11:30am. I just got home and washed my face, it's 1:30am. Makeup looked like it had just been applied!! Unbelievable!!! And amazing!! I am so overly pleased with my face. I always have a hard time matching foundation to my skin tone, but she did it effortlessly. I received so many compliments on my makeup as well. I have nothing negative to say about Angelica as a person, she's a really really sweet girl. My issue was that i really don't think paying $85 + tip was worth it for the service i received; especially considering she doesn't come to you, and you have to go to the makeup studio and drive around and around in circles trying to find parking on Ventura. The part i didn't like was that i just felt like a number when i walked in, i didn't even get asked do you have a look in mind/colors, or what's your skin type? I actually did have a specific look i wanted and i had a picture to show but i didn't even get a chance to before she just started right away without even pinning my hair back. She said that she's going to do a soft, natural look, when i never said i wanted a natural look. And to be honest, from what i saw everything she used was pretty low end other than the foundation. I actually do make up myself and am obsessed with beauty products in general; i just felt like getting it done and getting pampered for once because the last time i got my makeup done was probably 12 years ago. Bottom line is if you know absolutely nothing about makeup, this is a great option for you; but if you love makeup and are used to the way you do your own, just do it yourself with the products you like and spend so much money on. In all the pictures from that night, i just feel like i didn't look like myself and people actually commented that my makeup looked better on any given day (even for work). read more
