I paid $620 total (including a 15% tip, $540 before tip) for a balayage and haircut, which felt extremely high--especially considering the haircut alone was only $80. During the appointment, the experience itself was uncomfortable. Chemicals were dripping onto my face, leaving stains on my forehead, and when my hair was washed, the water was cold and splashed everywhere. A few days later, after washing and styling my hair the way I normally do, I noticed how off the balayage looked. My roots already appeared very grown out--almost halfway down my head. I understand balayage is meant to grow out naturally, but this looked like it had been done months ago when it had only been a week. Even my family commented that it looked grown out. I called the salon to see if they could fix the top portion, and I was told my stylist, Angel, would call me back--but I never heard from her. Overall, I'm really disappointed. Not only was the service expensive, but the results didn't meet expectations, and there was no follow-up or effort to make it right.

I was never asked what I wanted as far as styling beyond that I wanted the bouncy blowout. I arrived with my bangs clearly down and styled, but they were completely ignored. He just tried to smooth my bangs into the rest of my hair at the last second as a last resort leaving my hair very strangely parted and my cowlick just dangling there. I was at such a loss for words I just paid and left because I was on the verge of tears looking at the top of my head and my ends. The people were very nice I just couldn't believe they let me leave looking like that. I should have said something but I was just so confused and at a loss. Definitely don't come here if you have any sort of bangs or cowlicks of any kind and if you do please request they put heat protectant on your hair To update based off of the owner's reply: 1. I did leave through the back door as recommended, so my hair never came in contact with any moisture. I walked out through the back into the parking structure area. The photos I took are on the drive home and my hair had come into zero contact with any sort of water or moisture. 2. The condition of my ends is in no way just frizz from moisture in the air. I've since then washed and styled my hair multiple times and my ends are completely fried, which is not the condition my hair was in before the blowout. My ends were soft and relatively healthy. 3. As far as leaving without saying anything, that IS my fault. I'm generally too shy to say anything or express concerns after receiving a service. But even a restyle would not have saved the damage to my hair. However, my plan WAS to communicate how I wanted my hair to be styled. I even had reference images ready to show my bangs. Not only was I never asked how I would like my hair to be styled other than the original question (straight blowout or bouncy blowout), not a single word was spoken to me during the service and the person blowing out my hair had their headphones in and was talking on the phone with someone. That's not exactly a situation where I'm comfortable expressing how I would like my hair done. I was sat in the chair and my blowout began immediately as my stylist had headphones in and was on a call with someone, with no opportunity to express how I would like it styled. Overall, I'm willing to admit that I should've asked for a restyle on my bangs/front area. That is my fault for being too shy to say anything and just pretending that I loved it and that everything was fine. But I DID leave through the back door as recommended, my ends are fried (not just frizzy from moisture), and the behavior of the stylist (no questions asked, silence, headphones in, and on a phone call) didn't make me feel comfortable to express how I wanted my hair styled in the first place. I'm not expecting any refund as I know the no refunds policy and I'm aware that I could've and should've said something at least about the bangs. But to act as if I didn't listen to your advice when someone LITERALLY let myself and my partner out of the back door straight to the parking structure and that the damage to my hair is just frizz is really upsetting.

So this time, I let the manager, Sabrina, know in advance that my daughter preferred a different stylist. Sabrina became defensive and accusatory, telling me she wasn't going to let me "blame and dismiss" her stylist. I calmly explained that wasn't my intention at all -- I was simply requesting a different stylist for my daughter's appointment, which should be a reasonable request. Instead of listening, she was dismissive and rude throughout the conversation, and stood there chewing gum the entire time, which came across as disrespectful and unprofessional. This isn't an isolated incident -- this location has consistently had staff who are rude and dismissive. It's disappointing to pay for a membership and never know whether I'm going to get a good experience or a frustrating one. Drybar needs to do a better job training staff at this location on basic customer service.

I am so incredibly happy with my hair! It is rare for me to go to a salon and leave as happy as I did. Lilit knows exactly what she is doing and talking about! I trusted her with my hair, and took a chance on the Brazilian split end treatment. Man am I happy I did, because I feel like I discovered a hair secret I have been missing out on. I have super curly hair on most days, and had some split ends. It was frustrating for me, because I rarely ever apply heat to my hair. The treatment not only closed my split ends, my hair looks and feels amazing. It's super shinny, and a lot less frizzer. My hair looks and feels fuller on the bottom which I have not had in a long time. It is also super soft like all the time now. Since I have really curly hair it is difficult to grow it out, but this treatment is going to make it a lot easier with less cuts. The main thing I loved was after washing my hair, I would see the same results day after day. What I did not expect is waking up to my hair looking as it did the day before. Which means having less days of tying up my curls, that is a plus! I am so excited to continue this treatment with Lilit! She was so honest from the start, and really listened to my concerns. My main concern was loosing the structure of my curls, but nothing changed. I found someone who also knows how to work with curly hair, and that is rare for me! It was such a great feeling to leave the salon so happy, and with a great experience. The picture on left is my curls when they are super relaxed, and of course they are wet, but in reality they are very curly. The picture on the right is after the treatment. I am so eager to do the treatment again next month with Lilit. I will definitely post pictures in a few months with more results to show you guys. :))))))))) read more

From the moment I stepped out of Blow and Glow, I've been thinking about leaving a review for Lilit! I came on Friday after work for a cut and hair dye, and Lilit gave me the royal treatment. On top of her excellent service, my allergies were horrible that day and she got me a box of Kleenex and water to help make me feel more comfortable. She was super sweet and knew exactly what I wanted and how to achieve it! I've been trying to get my hair to be the darkest black possible and every other salon I've gone too didn't get the job done. I would walk out and in the sun, I could still see my brown hair. My hair is the most beautiful black right now and I absolutely love the blunt cut that Lilit gave me. Service was okay but they really need to be consistent with their pricing. Scheduled a blowout with the receptionist up front. I asked how much the price was going to be and another hairstylist replied for her saying since my hair was short and I wanted straight, it was going to be 35$. When I came for my appointment I had to wait an extra 30 minutes even though the receptionist called me before to ask if I was still coming 20 minutes before my appointment. (I feel like that would have been a good chance to let me know I should've come a later time so I wouldn't wait but whatever). Brows by tommy The best! She really does a wonderful job my brows always last me about a month even if they grow out they look great without any touch up! Highly recommend everyone to try her out. She takes her time and makes sure you are happy before you leave her. Lilit is my go to girl for blow outs! I had my first visit to this salon today, and I couldn't be more pleased! Karlin greeted me with a warm smile and started with a relaxing, thorough hair wash. She was so gentle but still gave my hair the deep clean it needed. The haircut was exactly what I wanted--just a trim, but the attention to detail with the layers was impressive. She completely butchered my bangs (see pic attached) it was completely uneven and choppy. One side was still completely long and the other side was half way above my eyebrow. I had asked her to cut my bangs right to my eyebrows and as you can see she didn't follow it. I was mortified. I didn't realize it was this bad until after I left and I brushed my bangs out and noticed how completely uneven they were. I wanted to cry especially considering I had a trip coming up in less than two weeks. I had gone to this place before to get my bangs trimmed with a different hair stylist there, and she always did a great job. But this time she wasn't there so I decided to try a new stylist. I wish I didn't. I'm posting this as a fair warning to anyone going. Be careful
