Allyssa did it again! Took care of all three kitties with the utmost patience and care! She is awesome. One of my daughter's cat even surprised all of us with her survival instinct skills but luckily our Mojito cat turned Tasmanian Devil was no match for Ally who knew how to handle in stride with so much love and care. My daughter's furbabies were way over do for nice deshedding and boy did they leave bags of hair for souvenirs. I sure can tell the difference and so glad my allergies aren't acting up like before. They smell so good and feel so soft now. We opted for an Oat bathe, nail trimming and deshedding. Going with how each cat's personality and of course, how much they can handle, she was able to blow dry 1 out of the 3 (she puts these little ear muffs to protect their eardrums). So we wrapped the babies to finish drying up which was no biggie .. and kinda nice to cuddle them anyways. Afterwards, they had their special dinner and all slept nicely. It was all well worth it!

Our appointment was at 9:30 am and the groomer didn't call to say she was on the way until 10:20. We are first time customers and weren't aware that there was a 1 hour window. The groomer was very nice and apologetic but, unfortunately, we had to cancel anyway due to other plans that day. Around 11:15 the owner, Angie, called and was extremely rude. She said that she informs everyone of the 1 hour time window when the appointment is made. She never asked us to reschedule and was dismissive. I have a feeling the reason this company has such a good rating is because most customers deal with Angie's amazing groomer and not with Angie herself.

My boi has a triple coat.

I moved from the city out to Odessa and had to start over with a groomer for my cat. I found Angie's. They are very organized and show up for appointments on time. My cat got the best cut he's ever had and came back calm and happy. Allie did the most amazing groom on him and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Angie's for any grooming you need for your pets. Outstanding!

Would give zero stars if that was an option. I've had my dog groomed by them many times and the last groom was a nightmare. I mentioned to the groomer that my dog needed the hairs around his paw pads trimmed if she could manage it. If not, wasn't a big deal. About an hour later my dog was done and she indicated that she was able to trim his hairy paw pads. The following day I noticed my dogs paw pads were inflamed, red, and there were some blood stains on my carpeting and floors. I reached out to Angie's and was prompted to text photos to the owner. I did this and she took no responsibility for what one of her groomers did. She was extremely unprofessional too, trying to multitask while on the phone with the IRS and texting me. Sending me screenshots of some googled paw infection that she claims my dog already had ahead of grooming. Which was NOT true. My dog does have hyperkeratosis on his paw pads, but it's isolated to specific areas and has NEVER spread. I took my dog to the vet who confirmed that he had an infection in all four paws and they felt it was a result of the trim from the groomer. It definitely wasn't a trim! She went bananas with clippers and made him bleed. My dog was on antibiotics and a foam to help heal the pads. I had to wash them after every out to keep bacteria away. I merely asked "Angie" for the tip money back and she said no. I was fine paying for the groom as he was a clean boy and nails were trimmed nicely, ears squeaky clean etc, but her groomer injured my dog. She then blocked my number and communication ended. I do not recommend them. And have told many people to steer clear as they don't take any responsibility for their actions.

Angie confrontation text after she called

Where do I begin... a complete nightmare I wish I never called Angie's pet styling. It started with the communication that irked me. I'm a first time customer so I was happy that I was able get a Saturday appointment on short notice. However I was getting worried when the appointment time came I received no confirmation that someone would be here to my house. I tried contacting but the phone rings no one answered so I reached out via Facebook to be contacted by a passive aggressive receptionist telling me it sounds like I'm unhappy and maybe I shouldn't use them. That was the first red flag. The groomer shows up on time as stated in the hour window I was given. She was nice personable asked me what style I wanted for my Pomeranian. I expressed I wanted short around body leave face and tAil fluffy and warned that she had a few mattes behind the ears, i was assured not to worry she was fine things would be ok. I handed over my pup an hour later I received a chopped and screwed up Pomeranian! I didn't take it out on the groomer. I simply left a honest review about my experience. I receive a phone call from Angie the owner basically to confront me about my review called me miserable and never contact her company again, when I've already made the decision not to and not recommend. If that wasn't enough she harassed me on Facebook and lie and said my google review was fake. Even though I have proof of a messed up cut and the money taken from my bank . She has a history of this behavior now this it has happened to me. Beware of this company groomers are nice but cannot groom and the owner is crazy person.

Angie has an amazing setup, her van is clean and sleek, she's friendly and easy to talk to, and she groomed my cat better than anyone else has. I enjoyed my interaction with her and will be using her for all my grooming needs!

Don't do a full body hair cut under any circumstances, just a sanitary trim around the paws, ears and eyes. When I picked up my dog, they had shaved her underside, given her a full body cut and chopped off all her whiskers. If that were the only issue then I would walk away from this knowing that the groomers simply just don't know how to listen to what pet owners want. That was the least of my concerns. My dog has gone to the groomer every 4-6 weeks since she was adopted (that's 2 years of regular grooming and vet visits) and has never had any issues. This was my first visit to this groomer and they ripped off her entire toe nail. I had to take my dog to the vet and spend hundred of dollars on antibiotics and treatment for her toe, and she's now in a cone. When this occurred, rather than calling me or informing me as soon as I arrived, they charged me and flipped the screen around for a tip and took 10 minutes to bring out my dog and then told me what happened. They accused my dog of having a loose toe nail to begin with. No apology, no offer for anything, not even any acknowledgment that it could have been a result of their grooming practices. I guess in some scenario that could be possible. However, my dogs entire toe was covered in blood and a weird substance they used to stop the bleeding (didn't tell me what it was or what was in it or ask before applying it), so I'm not buying the "your dogs toe nail just fell off story." It seems like your staff was trying to absolve responsibility from themselves. Unfortunately, this groomer doesn't even do the due diligence of having clients sign a form acknowledging the potential of accidents like any other establishment I have been to that's worth anything, so I do in fact hold you fully responsible. I also asked my vet to describe a scenario in which a dog's nail would come off in its absolute entirety during grooming because I have never heard of that happening and was horrified. My vet said he had never heard of a dog's nail "just being loose and falling off." My vet said this would only occur if a dog was moving around and the groomer tried to force the service rather than stopping. That checks out to me, as one of the first things I said about my dog when I dropped her off is that she can be wiggly with her feet at first if she isn't able to inspect the tools that groomer is using and to just do the best you could. If she was too wiggly to have her nails safely cut, they should not have been touched. In that scenario, it is the groomer's responsibility to say they cannot safely do something at the moment and stop. I would rather my dog have overgrown nails any day than an entire missing one that will take months and months to grow back and requires soaking in antiseptics and antibiotics to avoid infection. I can trim nails at home. I cannot manufacture a new toe nail from the air. However, the staff insisted at the front that they had nothing to do with the accident and it must have been an issue with her whole nail to begin with. Perhaps the negligent staff here thinks they know more than a veterinarian. Perhaps they're delusional and genuinely believe it wasn't their fault. Perhaps they're just cruel to animals for people's money and then move on with their day. That's their business, not mine. But to the dog owners thinking of taking your dog here: Do not. Under any circumstances. They are irresponsible and they will hurt your pet and they will not own up to it.

For my first appointment with my two dogs, I accidentally went to the wrong location. I called & the receptionist helped me get to the correct one. I arrived 20 minutes late, and they said they no longer had time for a full groom & could only do a mini groom. I wasn't happy, but completely understood. The night before my second appointment, they called asking me to change my appointment time to fill a gap in their schedule. I gladly rearranged my day to accommodate them. Today, 4 weeks later, I arrived for that appointment. I normally keep my dogs on a 4-week full-groom schedule & their coats short to prevent matting. When asked how I wanted them cut, I explained I wanted the same style they currently had, just shorter. The groomer cut me off, somewhat rudely, stating my dogs had never had a haircut there before. Obviously I know that. I clarified that I meant their CURRENT style/shape, taken down to half the length, and let the interaction go. After I got home, the receptionist called saying one dog was matted all over, needed to be shaved & I'd be charged a $20 matting fee. I explained that this was frustrating considering THEY chose not to cut them at the previous appointment. I understand their time constraint because I arrived 20 minutes late after going to the wrong location, but what did they expect when a doodle goes 8 weeks without a full haircut? They mat easily even with grooming every 4 weeks, which is why I keep them short. I wasn't upset that they couldn't fully groom them the first time. I wasn't even upset that she needed shaving. I was upset by how everything was handled. When they needed ME to rearrange my schedule, I accommodated them without hesitation. When they couldn't accommodate my full groom, I understood. A client/service-provider relationship goes both ways. When I picked them up, I said I wanted to see my dogs before tipping. Asking for a tip before I'd even seen the service was odd, and after the interactions that day I wanted to ensure they hadn't been accidentally nicked during the shave. I tried discussing my concerns with the groomers. Why not call me directly to discuss the situation/options? Why not attempt something like Cowboy Magic or coconut oil to demat before shaving? I was told her coat was "unsaveable," she was badly matted all over, and as the owner it was MY fault because I should brush her every day. I tried explaining I've only ever had one matting issue before & clearly know how to care for my dogs, but I was rudely interrupted every time I tried to speak and could hardly get a word in. Here's my point: If they noticed matting at the first appointment, why not say, "Hey, we noticed some matting starting. We didn't charge you because it wasn't excessive, but brushing more frequently will help prevent it & save you a matting fee next time." THAT is someone I would listen to because it feels like a partnership, rather than being treated like a neglectful owner. And today, imagine if the groomer had called and respectfully said, "Hey, I wanted to keep you informed. She's matted all over. I know your first visit was stressful after accidentally going to the wrong location, and now it's been 8 weeks since her last full haircut. We tried X/Y/Z to save the coat, but unfortunately we need to shave her. Can we make a plan together to prevent this in the future? It'll save you money & keep her comfortable." That would have been an ENTIRELY different situation. You cannot treat clients like a nuisance, tell them they don't properly care for their pets, refuse to let them speak, AND charge $110 for an 8-lb dog and $120 for a 65-lb dog. I highly suggest customer-service training for the groomers. I've never had an issue with a groomer. I normally tip 30% and even bring holiday/birthday goodies to my vet & groomers. Today, for the first time ever, I left $0--not because my dog was shaved, but because of how I was treated. A groomer-client relationship should be a partnership in caring for someone's pets. I'm not a veterinarian or groomer--that's WHY I partner with professionals to provide the best care for my babies. I drove 30 minutes out of my way and willingly paid more because I don't mind paying for better quality. You could have gained a lifelong client simply by handling this situation with communication, kindness & professionalism. DO NOT COME TO THIS GROOMER! You will be treated like you're just a number.
