This place is great upon arrival to picking up your pet. When I first came several years ago with my enormous cat, I was concerned on how my cat would react to Annette but they got along beautifully and the cat always looked so clean and perfectly groomed each and every time. Took my cat there for a nail trim, had zero issues, and was completed within 10 minutes. My cat "loves" this place.

My Multipoo needed grooming so I brought him to this salon. I had told the groomer that he hadn't been groomed for a while and was matted. I walked in the door she took one look at my dog and said she couldn't groom him. He was too matted. I have taken my dog to many groomers over the years and have NEVER heard this before. She obviously didn't want my business and I was afraid she would HURT my dog !! I left. There are 5 groomers in y area I am sure I can find another groomer. read more

Miss Cali LOVES coming to see Annette and Gary at Canine Creations. In fact, I'm pretty sure if we left the front door of our house open, this is where she would run away to. They are so welcoming and loving from the second Cali walks in the door. They are always accommodating in fitting her in and calling the day before to remind us. We've been coming here for at least a year or two and we have never had a bad experience! Her cut is always so nice! They even put bows in her hair which is completely emasculating when I'm walking around the neighborhood with her, but my wife likes the bows so we get the bows. Do not take your pet to one of those big chains like PetSmart where they get a different person every time. I tried to bring my black labrador retriever puppy (7mo old) in today and he was barking a dog statue that was by the front counter. And by him doing so she decided he was too "aggressive" to be groomed. She didn't even give him a couple minutes to calm down. I don't know what kind of dogs this place takes but apparently not medium-large ones. Large dog owners don't waste your time!!!!! Because at this establishment they will just be deemed "too aggressive". I did give it 2 stars because she was polite over the phone and the store front was cute inside for the 2 seconds I got to see it. HELLOOOO?! That never occurred. We both know you gave my dog 2 seconds while he barked at a statue. Not you. Or any other dog. A statue. But yes, great customer service skills. Definitely wouldn't recommend large dog owners to waste their time with a timid groomer. Dogs bark to communicate. Chill. read more

RUN! The last two times I've taken my pets to this salon, they have both come home with ear infections they did NOT go in there with.. Apparently Annette shaved the dogs AFTER cleaning their ears out? (LOL) I also have had the pleasure of being screamed at by Annette for missing an appointment only to find out her neighboring competitor charges half of what she has been charging me.. RUINED MY DOG. Read the other reviews about this place and the nasty responses from the owner before taking your dog here, I sure wish I had. Nothing seems to ever be their fault. Dropped off a BEAUTIFUL long haired puppy just to get groomed and a TRIM. Even had picture examples of what I wanted and what I SPECIFICALLY did NOT want him to look like. You guessed it! He came back looking like a shaved rat and they claimed his legs were too matted up to make it look normal. I brush my dog once or twice a day I know he has small matted areas that are easily cut out, but regardless it's ON THE INNER THIGH SO HOW WOULD THAT AFFECT IT??? So without asking and AGAINST what was DIRECTLY told not to do she shaved him off to where now he's left with 1/5 of the coat he had before and will never look the same because it was puppy fur. It's not as much as it looks bad it's just that it goes DIRECTLY against what I wanted. Furious read more

This place is THE BEST!! We have been taking our golden doodle to Canine Creations for several years now. Annette and her team do a fantastic job grooming my boy! He goes once a month and alternates getting a bath one time and getting a bath and a cut the next! She does such a great job taking care of his fur and skin he never has any issues! He loves going there, she treats him so well he gets very excited to see her! She will ask you several questions about what you like and don't like and try to get to know you and your pet so that she will do the best she can for you and your family pet. We tried Canine Creations for our Pomeranian last week and I am so sorry we did. He is 3 years old and had a beautiful coat that had never been shaved. He had a couple of small mats that should have been clipped out. Instead, without calling us, they clipped his hair down to a teddy bear cut. If that wasn't bad enough, it is uneven and spikey, long hairs on his feet not trimmed, nails not trimmed and even cut off half of his flowing white tail. I have no idea if his coat will ever grow back like it was. After complaining they became defensive and returned our money. However, I can't imagine why they did not call to discuss before he was shaved. I have owned poms for 10 years and ALWAYS had a traditional cut. Not professional at all. I posted before and after pics. Hard to see but his coat is now uneven with long hairs and gouges. Looks like a five year old took scissors to him. Based on other reviews and the owners response - don't even bother to say he was matted because it was absolutely not true. and in no way would excuse such a horrible cut and not calling. read more

We have a very feisty Chihuahua and have a hard time finding someone who is even willing to groom her, let alone cut her nails. Annette the owner of this awesome shop is so awesome with our Roxy. She really knows how to handle our difficult pet. She even paints Roxie's nails for us. We love the service we get when we come to canine creations. A warm and inviting place. I have peace of mind that my dog is well taken care of here. Roxy loves Annette and is so full of energy when she gets home after a day at Canine Creations Pet Spa. Annette has been grooming my dogs Rocco and Sugar for a couple of years now and I won't go anywhere else. She is just amazing and loves all her dogs so much. When I bring my dogs there they are trying to pull away from me to get to Annette! When I brought them other places before I found Canine Creations they would cry when I'd leave them. (I will not rate low because I did not receive the grooming service) I had a 10:30am appointment with this place for my 8 month old labradoodle. He is a medium/large puppy with LOTS of hair which definitely makes him look larger. The owner appeared unsure about him because he is very excited and playful (again a big puppy). She first told me that she could tell we brush him but then begin to tell me that he is matted and that I should be able to run a comb through his hair. He has a very unique, wool - like coat that we do our best to maintain with brushing almost every day. I accepted her criticism (or her attempted advice) on how to care for him but she then went over her pricing which I decided that we could not do a full cut due to it being $125 and we settled on the $75 for clean up, wash and blow-dry. At that point, another customer came in with her two little puppies. The owner spoke with that customer who apparently was a vip client because she asked me to step outside and walk around with my dog (and my kids who were with me) and to return in five minutes or so, so that she could tend to her customer who came after me and did not have an appointment until 11am (it was 10:40 at the time because I even arrived 10 minutes early to speak with her so at that point we were already speaking for at least 20 minutes). My dog has been to another groomer who we love but they were booked and we had an upcoming trip so we wanted to leave him freshly groomed before our trip. That was my first mistake. We will stay with our groomer. I was mostly disappointed because I would've preferred that she would have just been straight forward with me and say that she did not want to take my dog or she doesn't think she can handle (his size) him rather than make me feel bad about our dog or like there was no hope for him and basically disregarding us when another customer arrived. So I cant speak to their grooming because we never made it that far but I'm thankful that I made the decision to leave when she asked us to wait outside to make her other customers more comfortable as if my dog was vicious animal. I received her info as a recommendation from a friend but I personally believe that this owner should state that she only works on smaller breeds. It would make life easier on her and others who have larger pets to not waste their time as I did today. I didn't necessarily think she was rude or anything in questioning our upkeep with the dog...It was when I was asked to step outside although I was there first and had been with my kids who were quietly and patiently waiting. That was not an experience I would want anyone to have and truly could have been avoided. read more

DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PLACE BECAUSE IT WILL TRAUMATIZE YOUR DOG. i have a 8 month old puppy and took her here because of all the good reviews. however, i later realized that it was the worst mistake ever. firstly, after grooming, my pup was not the same at all. she was so lethargic and kept on shivering. the worst part was that she was hurt in her back legs and could not run at all. i had to take her to the vet and she was prescribed pain medications and anti inflammatory medication because she may have gotten a strain in her back legs. secondly, the owner of this place does not know how to act professional. she called me complaining that my pup barked a lot and troubled her. WELL, NEWS FLASH SHE IS A DOG AND DOGS BARK. if you can't handle an 8 month old puppy barking then you shouldn't be a groomer. she was also very rude when i went back to pick up my dog acting like she was forced to take care of her. i have taken my dog to other groomers many times before going to her and she seemed fine after every visit. i watched most of the times as she was being groomed and didn't see her bark once. that just shows that it was the service that annoyed my pup and made her bark so much. she was so traumatized that i saw her shivering on the table. its been 5 days since the visit and my pup is still not back to her normal self. her back legs are still troubling her and she still has to take her meds. she still seems so scared and in shock. there was even blood in her stool after the visit that the vet said could have been from shock. she has been hurting so much and i don't know when shell go back to her goofy playful self. This place doesn't even deserve the 1 star that i gave for the sake of posting this review. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Your comment just shows how unprofessional you are telling me that you hope my dog dies. And go flaunt your "100 happy customers" somewhere else. Sooner or later you will go out of business if you keep showing this kind of unprofessionalism and can't take criticism. You shouldn't be owning a business relating to dogs if you can't handle one. And as far as taking to other groomers is concerned yes she has never gotten fully groomed but she has gotten trims and I have never seen her bark and for your kind information it was at pet smart and they treated her much better than you because she was happy when she came back home. I waited four days because I wanted to make sure what the actual cause was. The vet couldn't find any other reason other than shock and strain from the groomers. So if I were you I would work on improving your business and learning to take care of dogs rather than bashing every bad criticism you get with hateful words. And we'll learn English I would advise you to learn to be compassionate because clearly you lack that. I'm a college student and educated enough to write an honest review. also my english is just fine because i know how to spell unacceptable unlike you. i am not going to continue this argument. you suck at your job and you're an immature grown adult. i am mature enough to end it her. goodbye. read more

I have a 3 year old dog that Intook there a couple of months ago as a walk in. The lady was wonderful, very nice, took her time to understand my concerns. The last groomer I took my dog to land my dog in the ER. She understood, didn't do anything to her anal glands, which is why my dog went to the ER last time. I called today to see about booking an appointment for my puppy and the lady was very rude and demeaning on the phone. I'm extremely shocked after the wonderful treatment last time. The lady on the phone didnt sound like the lady I had met before, but there was only one lady (one person) working there when I went in last time. Anyway, she was rude and said it'd be 40 for a puppy bath. Odd. It was 40 for an adult groom last time. Should be way less for just a bath. read more

IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They drugged my dog WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!! My dog has always been very easy to groom. Her regular groomers say she is extremely good. I had to go here because my regular groomer was so booked and I had to miss my regular appointment due to illness. I made a big mistake by going here. She could not even stay awake! She was severely traumatized by her stay here. Her cut was horrible as well. That I can live with but this is day 2 and she is still not acting right. She has always been sitting at the door when she hears me say anything about going some where or see me dressing to go out. Now she starts shaking when she thinks she has to leave the house. Something is very wrong at this place. My main regret is that I did not take her straight to her vet. I am seriously thinking about taking further action. read more
