You're able to drive the boat to different islands and dock there. There's a BBQ on deck as well and the entire experience was relaxing. The staff a great at training and put in enough time to teach you how to handle the houseboat. They provide a service line if you need it and always have someone there to answer questions. I went in late May where the whether was ok but very quiet in the late spring so no issues with busy locks or too many boaters in the water. Got a chance to see their luxury boats and it's like a floating hotel. Can't wait to go back. Highlights of the trip were Boyd island, Bobcaygeon, Lower Buckhorn lake, Wolfe Island and Lovesick lock.

We decided to cancel our reservation & was easily able to do so online. We were automatically refunded what we paid. The forecast changed again & now it was saying rain ending in the morning. We decided to drive up to PEC, have lunch & play in by ear. After we finished lunch, we looked at the forecast & it said no rain for the rest of the day, so we booked it online again and then headed over. We checked in 10 minutes prior to our reservation & the three young guys there found our reservation quickly then got us on our way. They were super helpful and friendly. We had a great time on the water! Started out grey, cool & and windy, but the weather god heard our prayers, and it turned out to be a beautiful day with sunshine :) I would definitely recommend Westlake Watersports for a pontoon rental.

They give a safety briefing and instructions upon checking in. I'd probably give more stars if I hadn't rented a pontoon elsewhere a few weeks prior to this one because the 2 stars are based on the cleanliness of the boat. The other rental cleaned their boats thoroughly to the point that there weren't any spiders nor spider webs. This boat was covered in them unfortunately.

They seem to always find more repairs than what is needed. When or if your boat or atv is damaged on their property they claim it came in that way. The operating hours are properly posted or adhered to. You show up at the time they say they are open and have to wait for staff to show up to get your boat or atv. Sean runs a fishing charter from Rice lake and Lake Simcoe and depending on the time of the year and how the fishing is at the time, Sean makes a recommendation on location and itinerary. Since our charter was in the late fall, Sean suggested we meet him on lake Simcoe. We drove up to meet Sean at a marina and he came with bait, all the fishing rods, pfd and everything else we would need to enjoy the day on the water fishing. We went out on his pontoon boat and felt very comfy and safe. Sean took care of putting all the baits on our hooks and showed us how to fish for the infamous lake Simcoe yellow belly perch. As you can see from the photos, we had an epic day of fishing! We were so impressed with Sean's attentive and friendly service, we are booked to go ice fishing with him soon. Will report back on how that experience goes!
