I agree with sentiment of some other reviewers that the rides could use an upgrade. If it's first time your kid is riding, I would sit with them on slower rides. At least they had some animals (rabbits, donkey, horses, sheep?, goats, and Llamas). Food is the same that you would expect anywhere in an amusement. Pizzas, burgers, fries, etc. etc. Important note: When going back, you will see "Water Taxi" signs and "Ferry". Do not stand in massive line for Ferry. We waited almost an hour then decided to ditch the line and it didn't take us much time to get a water taxi instead. There were few people and in very short time, enjoyed our ride back. There's a 4d cinema that has shows every 30 min with 4 rotating shows. Prepare to get spray with water in the shoes. There's 2 play buildings with slides and 1 smaller one for younger kids. There's 4 building stations with mock earthquake stations, a big mega blocks play area, a few smaller LEGO stations. They have master created classes every hour. There's one more ride that goes in circles. There is a cafeteria with marked up standard food. They do serve Starbucks coffee. A note you can't bring any outside food in. If your kid is old enough, there's lots to do for them and at the cost of 40$ for 1 adult and 1 kid, it's alright. However, when we visited with the grandparents, we were told this was not allowed, and were forced to pay over $100 extra at the gate -- despite being clearly told otherwise when we bought the passes. When I contacted the park about this, I received a patronizing response and was told there would be no compensation. Unfortunately, this attitude reflects our broader experience with the staff. During two visits, we encountered rude and unprofessional behavior, particularly at the ice cream shop and gift shop. I even witnessed a staff member aggressively yelling at a child with special needs and saying incredibly inappropriate things to his mother -- behavior that left other guests, including my own children, shocked. This park advertises itself as family-friendly, but that wasn't our experience. What should have been a magical and welcoming place for kids turned out to be a series of disappointments and poor treatment -- made worse by a total lack of accountability from management. It wasn't what we were expecting, with very little ziplining (1 'big' zipline lasting about 20s, a smaller 5s one, and finally propelling down at the end of the tree trek). We were a group of four adults, with a man and his daughter joining us with our guide. The whole thing seems to be geared more to the 8-14 age group, as the kids/young teens were light and short enough to walk the tightropes etc as intended. For the rest of us, especially the three men in our group, the height of the wires and the way things were balanced made it very difficult for anyone over the height of 5'5 to comfortably navigate themselves through the trees. My boyfriend is 6'2, as was the father who joined us, and they had a lot of trouble with the wires hitting their heads and shoulders at the wrong angles. The one younger person in our group had a much easier time as the ropes and wires were never interfering with her trek. About halfway through our trek, a manager in a black ball camp came to the base of the zipline/tree trek areas and began to shout at the guides. It seemed everyone was doing something wrong in his opinion, even the guests were shouted at (one fellow for not doing a particular tightrope the "challenging" way, another for starting slowly on one of the tougher lines). He made everyone very nervous, and I don't think he realized how unprofessional his behaviour was. Nobody wants to see the guide in charge of ensuring your safety be continually (and loudly!) berated. All in all, I'd say this would be fine for kids or young teens, but as far as the website's claim about being good for groups or corporate training, I'd look somewhere else. I had a great time here!…read more Eaglecrest accommodated the extra-large group of 14 climbers we had, even though the maximum group was somewhere closer to 10. I was under the impression it was going to be 3 hours of zip-lining, but it wasn't, it was mostly a high-ropes course. It was a bit disappointing at the time, but was still fun though! The high ropes course had three levels of difficulty, and you got back on the ground between each difficulty, giving anybody who wanted it, the chance to stay on the ground. The staff there were pretty knowledgeable and helpful throughout. One young man in particular, Tyler, was very helpful and encouraging to the slower, more afraid members of our group. He knew exactly who to joke with and who needed words of encouragement and was very charismatic in general. We all completed the entire course, and it was a very rewarding experience. A bit of a team-building exercise, as you could yell back and forth to the trees in front or behind you to encourage people in your group. It was some physical activity, but not too strenuous. I did have some difficulty doing the games 'properly' as I am a little shorter than most, and was pretty close to the minimum height. Some of the games I couldn't reach the top ropes on, and some I couldn't reach the second foot rope on, so I had to do it all 'cheating' with both feet on one rope. I still had lots of fun though. We were also allowed to bring cameras with us which was really cool. Tyler warned me about having my camera on and dangling at my hip, because the lens would scrape and get damaged but I chose to ignore his advice. My camera was fine in the end, and I got lots of great shots of everybody [and more importantly didn't hold up the group]. I would recommend having someone on the ground to take pictures as well. All in all, a fun experience, a great way to get up and get moving a little bit, as well as enjoy the fresh air outside. Would definitely return [but not too soon as the courses would be exactly the same. Would go back next year though!]
