It was a very enjoyable evening dining alfresco in this restaurant in SML Beautiful weather greatly enhanced the evening. My bro & I enjoyed an excellent meal here. The staff was prompt, friendly and spoke English quite well. We assumed they deal with many English-speaking diners/tourists. We ordered one tomato caprese. The burrata mozzarella was primo. My beef agnello with orange sauce was great with fennel. It was the most tender meat I've eaten in a while. My bro had a lamb dish that was also excellent. He drank a Prosecco and I had a refreshing ginger, lemony drink.

Delicious. One of the best meals I've eaten, 8 days into my vacation in Italy. We started with the Arancini (risotto balls), and prawn carpaccio. The prawn carpaccio was like nothing I've ever tasted, it had avocado and a citrusy sauce. Rather incredible. I would advise not to order it if you're not a fan of raw shrimp as it is raw (not cooked like ceviche.) For our first course we shared a fresh stuffed pasta, with a spinach and ricotta filling, in a creamy walnut sauce. To. Die. For. Definitely get it. But the STAND OUT dish was the Lamb Shank. It was falling off the bone, so tender and flavorful. Served with potatoes and a little fresh salad, and topped with a mild sauce and fresh mint. We skipped dessert, as I had my heart set on banana gelato from down the road. My husband ordered 2 drinks and a dessert liqueur and I had a bottle of sparkling water, and the whole meal cost under 80€. One of the less expensive dinners we've eaten in Italy. You would easily pay $35-$40 just for that lamb dish anywhere in the US, and $10 per drink for the gimlet and negroni my husband ordered. Great value.

What a great little restaurant! The food was amazing and it's a cute little place with homemade pasta and great fish dishes. Food, service and atmosphere was spot on! Could eat here everyday and oh the Minestrone soup was the best ever! Ciao

Fantastic place and great value. 13 euros for an incredible seafood pasta and 5 euros for a glass of Vermentino

Last nite in San Margret, used yelp to find a good restaurant. Within walking distance of Lido hotel. At first we thought we needed reservations, but it was cool and we sat on the outside. Bottle of red wine was excellent. Rice balls very good . Roast beef and lambs hank bene. Nice walk afterwards to settle the fulness.

Spaghetti de Mare (with fish). Fantastic flavor. Great little place for a bit.

The food was spectacular and the service and wine were awesome too. The ceviche was unreal as was the ravioli in walnut sauce.

The spaghetti with clams and ravioli with walnut sauce were both excellent. The taramasu was good, but not the best we have had.

As we discussed food plans, our driver suggested eating in Santa Margherita as the food was better quality and better priced. We took his advice and stopped by a row of restaurants. When we asked for recommendations, he simply said "all are good." Pressed for time My brother made the quick decision for this place and we crossed our fingers and hoped it would be good. BOY, was the food BETTER than GOOD!! We tried the gnocchi w/ pesto, another pasta with pesto, two different spaghetti dishes, and the ravioli. Some of my family is vegan and vegetarian, and the food fit their needs. The ingredients were simple, yet fresh and flavorful. We ordered the house wine, and beer for my dad. We walked away paying 20€ a piece (4 people) and I was very pleased. Customer service was great. Although their was a language barrier, our server spoke English, and was very personable. He was even kind enough to give me a mini lesson on Speaking Italian. We dined al fresco and the view of the parks and ocean was beautiful. I've been home for weeks now, and we still have not stopped talking about this dining experience. Definitely one of the best food experiences of my trip. I would definitely recommend.
