I think there was maybe two other parties there; they open at 11 am on Saturdays, so they serve a later brunch than most. By the time we left, about 2 hours later, it was pretty full. I picked their Big Breakfast Bowl, and it was fantastic. Different flavor profiles than you run of the mill breakfast hash mesh-ups. The base-layer smashed spuds were perfectly soft with crisp edges. I'm not sure which sauce gave the orange coloring, the sausage gravy or their Shasta sauce, but together it was definitely one of the best sausage gravy get-ups I've had in my life. I loved the small sausage chunks; very happy it wasn't minced down to nothingness. I'm so glad Buckeye Lake has a genuine restaurant to brag about. I would love to go back and try their lunch/dinner menu. They have happy hour - drinks AND food items - from 4-6 Monday through Friday, along with daily drink specials Mondays-Thursdays. When ever I am out visiting my mom and step-dad out at the family farm, I my stop in to get a few things, especially the prize winning locally grown and slaughtered meats. Talk about quality and fresh. I think it is the best meat in Ohio, for you carnivores out there. They also have fresh Amish style baked goods, and produce. This market has thrived through good times and hard times. Even with a Kroger super store that opened outside of Heath, or the local Walmart. They can not compare to TCs.
