Our server, who I think was the manager, seated us quickly and was super friendly and attentive throughout the meal. There is a long bar in one room where a couple locals were dining while watching a game. They also have a back room for larger parties and an outdoor patio. We ordered the beef enchilada, chile relleno combo, and also the chimichanga dinner. Both were very well prepared, and the sauces were definitely not store bought. We asked the manager and he did say that they make their sauces in house. I love that, especially since they were really good and had a deeper spice flavor than other places.

It was a Thursday night at dinnertime, but we were seated right away. They had a decent-sized crowd, but it wasn't packed. We had a server visit our table quickly and he was very friendly and light-hearted. He was good with the kids and we always appreciate that! It was a bit after 6pm, but I was able to get a Happy Hour margarita ordered, which felt like a good deal! $7.99 for a traditional margarita. (I'm not sure what time their Happy Hour ends) There wasn't much salt on the rim, but I actually didn't notice until I nearly finished it and realized it wasn't there. But it tasted great! I believe it was an authentic margarita, not the sour mix. My kids love Mexican rice and beans (respectively, neither likes both), so they only each ordered their side and feasted on chips and queso (the queso was a bit pricey for a large, but it lasted our entire meal). The queso was great and the chips were good too. Salsa was decent. I ordered the spinach enchiladas and my wife ordered the vegetarian chimichanga. We both enjoyed our meals and agreed we ordered those same meals again in the future. Service was fast and friendly and we had a nice relaxing meal. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the indoors is even nicer than it looks from the outside, although they have a nice outdoor patio with some cool decor out there as well. We'll come back!

Owned by the bigger Mi Tradicion chain, but this is a quick-serve place. Mainly carryout, but 10 or so tables inside and a few on a patio outside. Big menu for a little place. I went with a carnitas torta and some chips and guac. Service was fast. The chips were very freshly made, like, hot and a little oily. Very good. The guac was good but a pretty small portion for $4. Still, plenty of chips, and when the torta arrived, whoa, it was huge. Didn't quite finish it. Great bread, lots of tender meat that's a bit crispy on the edges, decent veggies. Two hot sauces on the table, I preferred the green. Neither very hot. I was reminded why I love tortas and why I rarely get them. It was a bit messy. Stayed together, let's say 75%. But I of course ate whatever fell off too. Mexican Coke and Jarritos for drinks, plus a couple of beers in the case. Handy, fast, very good.

That's actually a positive if you're looking for a spot where you can grab food and watch a game at the same time. In general, walking into a restaurant that's full is a good sign, so from the start I had high expectations. We were seated fairly quickly, which was great. However, it did take a while for our waitress to come over and take our order. That part was somewhat understandable, as she appeared to be the only server handling a large number of tables. While that's not her fault, it is a downside from a staffing perspective. Once we finally placed our orders, the food also took a bit longer than expected to come out. When it did arrive, though, it was hot and seemed very fresh. I ordered the loaded tater tots, which came topped with chili and cheese, with sour cream on the side. They were good overall, but I do think the chili could have been better--more meat and a slightly richer, more savory flavor would have gone a long way. We also ordered wings. Aside from a couple that were burnt, the wings were actually quite flavorful and enjoyable. Most of them were cooked well, and the seasoning was solid. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, which is always appreciated. The waitress was very kind and polite whenever she did come by, and I think most of the issues we experienced were simply due to how busy the restaurant was at the time. If we were to return during a slower period, I believe the experience would likely be much better overall. Would I recommend going here? Yes--with some caveats. If you're going primarily for the food, I wouldn't necessarily recommend visiting on a busy game night. However, if you're going to watch a game, enjoy the atmosphere, and grab some food at the same time, it's worth giving a try. Hopefully it won't be so busy that things come out rushed or slightly off, like a few items did for us. Overall, the experience was decent. It wasn't amazing, and it wasn't terrible. Aside from a few burnt pieces of chicken, most of the food was flavorful, and the atmosphere made up for some of the shortcomings.

I got one chorizo, one steak, and one chicken tinga. The corn tortillas are what most people speak highly of here so I had to try it. It was exceptional. The tortillas do taste homemade and have a nice flavor and texture. The tacos didn't fall apart either. Now the meats were just okay...nothing authentic about them. Lacking in flavor too. BUT if you want to order a non taco item, you can add a tortilla for a $1. Probably what I should've done. My friend got the crunch wrap which was BIG. Prob too big for most people to finish but it had a lot of things in it, including a fried tortilla inside that my friend agreed was the star of the show. Otherwise, her Crunchwrap was bland.... We both got a mild and spicy salsa on the side but neither were spicy. And of course, neither were that flavorful. Service was good. The staff was nice. We didn't wait long for the food. More like 3.8 stars overall. Masa recently opened another stall that sells salads. I'd prob try that next time.

The salsas don't have a description on the menu so I asked him about a few of them and he started sharing his story and even told me the recipes they use are generational; he uses his grandmother's recipes!
