I will call Hymer first for all my plumbing needs: trustworthy and thorough, honest and authentic service personnel. I can relax when they are in my home.

My wife called Mr. Rooter on Friday afternoon telling them that our kitchen sink was clogged and…read morebacked up. An appointment was set for Saturday around noon. When the Mr. Rooter technician arrived, he assessed the situation. I told him that I had run a 35 foot snake down through the drain, but without reaching the clog. The technician said that he has a machine with a 35 foot snake but that the machine was battery operated and not that strong. He could put a 50 foot snake on the machine, but that it probably will not do the job. He said that his machine is good for bathrooms and other drains, but does not work well on kitchen drains. The technician said that the price for him to try his snake would be $390 whether it worked or not. If it did not work, then they would use a jet cleaner that would cost $2400 and the the $390 would NOT count towards the $2400. The technician then said that we must pay him $100 for the trip though he does not have the adequate equipment to properly work on a clogged kitchen sink. He went on to say that he has to give lots of people this bad news. I paid the $100 and sent him away. I then went to a local establishment and purchased a professional-sized Rigid drain machine with a 75 snake. Though I laid on the floor for an hour or so, this machine went through the clog and all was well after one trip of the snake down the drain. The new machine cost me $435. And I have it for the next clog. My thoughts are what drain-opening service company sends their technicians out with sub-par equipment that routinely does not work on kitchen drains? At least the technician was honest and told me that his machine probably would not work. Good for him in doing that. One star for an honest employee. Zero stars for the company.

We could not tell what was wrong since no breakers were tripped. I called JB Electric and had them come out and look at it. Ryan came out found that there was still electric reaching the fan and found out that the sensor in the fan had blown. He immediately went out to find a store that had a replacement. He came back shortly put the new remote sensor in and all was good and fine in no time at all. Ryan was friendly and did great work very rapidly. Will I call JB Electric for any electrical problem DEFINITELY YES!

My water went out called & they came out that day. Lower element was burned out. My son called the warranty co. & they gave him a no. for the warranty. He handed the no. to the guy & he said he would give it to Michelle at the office. The guy replaced both elements because he said the kit for both was $70.00. Got a bill about 5days later for $325.00. So I called them & asked how much was parts & how much was labor & trip charge. Michelle started hollering that the labor was$165.00 & the rest was parts. Funny how the guy told us that the kit was$70.00. I couldn't get a word in because she kept talking over me. Finally I said how much was the trip charge & she yelled that they don't have a trip charge! I said did you get the check from the warranty co.? You have to send that in yourself we don't do that! Usually the company you hire takes care of the warranty, then why did the guy take the warranty no. that my son gave him! How can you send me a bill until I know how much is covered by warranty? Very rude, would never recommend them to anyone & I will never use them again! Send me an itemized bill! read more

These guys are nice fellas. However…read more.. Installed a budget outdoor unit, which fails to heat the house (and only half the house at that, downstairs). The previous unit was a much nicer one that needed parts but they took that and replaced with a budget that is too weak to heat the downstairs of the house. Refuse to do anything else claiming our vents are the issue - when prior to our old unit having malfunction, heated the house just fine. And the aux heat also works just fine. They came out and "charged the new unit because they must not have from factory" and it actually worked for a few days and heated the house somewhat decent. But after about a week it's back to weak air blowing and barely warm temps. Yet even with this knowledge they refuse to help any further insisting it's the vents - the vents that worked just fine all winter before the ice storm broke our outdoor unit, and the one that works fine now if in aux heat mode that uses our gas, and also worked fine right after they charged this new unit they installed. Disappointing. Guess they can't fix their budget install and don't want to take responsibility for it.
