Well well well.. where do I begin. I would give them zero stars if I could. I hired Hiller to extend my gas lines for a gas stove (I was switching from an electric stove to a gas stove but already had a gas fireplace.) First, the employee told me I would not need to gas flex line I had already purchased from Lowe's (that was only $25.) When he showed up for job he asked me to give him the flex line. I told him I returned it because he said I did not need it and he said no problem he had one and proceeded to charge me $50 for it. Yikes. After hooking up my gas lines my fireplace no longer worked (second yikes). Hiller employee told me I would need to replace to whole fireplace- I have a brand new construction and the fireplace worked perfectly fine before. He told me he wasn't allowed to work on it and to just replace to whole thing. I ended up calling Atmos and they ever so graciously came out and finally got it working. The best part is- he told me to cancel Lowe's setting up the range (installing and hooking up lines) because he could do it- great! That was going to save my some $! Then day of service tells me he will do it but he is technically not allowed (?? What the heck? I would have just had Lowe's do it?). He pulls up on the door of the stove and it partially comes off.. to which he says this door comes off so you can clean the stove and rips the whole door off. Whole door. Right off. Spends over 30 minutes slamming and banging it back on. In the process of doing that he damages the door and the hinges. I did not notice the damage until after he left and I immediately complained to Hiller which was suchhhh a longggg road. Stevi at the bowling green branch (hi stevi) was so rude on multiple occasions. She must be the ceo of the company because she acted like the money was coming out of her pocket. After going back and forth with her she finally refunded me my money I spent on the gas lines. She stated that the worker said I was okay with the damages (again what the heck. A brand new $2000 stove I've never even used. I would never be ok with the damages). Even though I got refunded for the gas lines I'm still left with a damaged stove that isn't usable. So I guess I will be spending another $2000 on a new stove. I honestly still want to sue Hiller but I'm still in the process of talking with lawyers. Beware beware beware. Use anyone besides Hiller. My cat could have done a better job. read more

Without AC for 3 days. Called for service. Technician was here within 24 hours. Showed up on time. Diagnosed the problem within minutes and had it running within a half-hour. Happy Camper!! read more

Just writing this review down made me realize... did that really happen? It did. Said a certain price for the estimate and that the estimate cost would go into the work "if it's done that day. And we come prepared to do the job with all necessary equipment." Well, they didn't have the needed parts and so my estimate now wasn't going towards the repair - even though it was their fault they couldn't do the work that day. And it jumped in price because reasons. I opted to purchase the parts myself directly to save a large charge for them getting the parts. The parts they said they'd have. They didn't show up at the scheduled time to repair the appliance. I had to ask several times where they were and finally they simply said they'd be there the next week. No apology or explanation. Finally they arrive and begin the repair. They leave. Part of the problem is fixed but the main reason for calling was water leaking everywhere - was not fixed. So they come back the next day which was nice and speedy. They look at it and declare it wasn't their fix that's leaking. "You can get some silicone to seal this part." So let me get this straight - I ask the plumbers to come out and find out why the huge water leak. Pay them to find out why. Order parts so I don't have to pay them for ordering the parts themselves (and them overcharging me for those parts), they arrive. "Fix" what I paid them to fix. It's not fixed - water everywhere still. They come back and simply declare it's not the thing they fixed that's the problem, here's some advice on how you might be able to fix it yourself and have a nice day. Which, by the way, it was their part that caused the new leak. They fixed the old leak but botched the install and created a new leak. Then told me to fix it... It boggles the mind. read more

My inside unit kept freezing over, call hiller out to find out what's wrong, they tell me they blower needs to be replaced, get it fixed $900, it keeps freezing over, call them back out, twice now, with no answers as to why it's freezing over the tech tells me it's a old system. And that's it, no answer or remedy. I'm so disappointed and out money, I could of bought window units with that money and at least been cool throughout the rest of summer. read more

I called Hiller last summer when my AC unit stopped working properly. They told me it would cost hundreds to fill my unit up with freon because it had a leak, and there was no guarantee how long it would last. They told me my best bet was to buy a whole new unit, costing over $7,000. Thankfully, I was denied financing , so I was unable to make the purchase. They still charged me the fee to come out to my house, although they didn't do anything. I ended up calling my grandmother to tell her about my situation, and she recommended her hvac guy to me. The guy came and put some freon in, as it was low, and didn't even charge me for it. My AC unit has been working fine ever since! I feel like I was taken advantage of because I'm a woman and didn't know any better. I would never use Hiller again or recommend them to anyone! read more

Never ever use Hiller BG. Paid almost $8,000 for new air conditioner unit. Hasn't worked properly since Hiller installed it! Now they want another $500 to install vents in the bedroom doors! Never needed vents with our older unit!!!! read more

Left a review a few months ago about our brand new unit not cooling the house down properly, now here we are in the dead of winter 11/14 freezing our asses off. I have tried to heat the house up with our BRAND NEW (well 6 month old unit) 27 hours ago and it hasn't worked so my unit has been running for that long so I'm almost afraid to see what our bill will look like. Because our family has been burned by Hiller before it almost seems so daunting having to call them to check out our unit.... AGAIN and back then I was told we were going to get a new one by the GM and that never happened! Even playing the recording back about her swapping the unit out for a new one, still didn't happen. Been a customer for 10 years pay $16 a month for the club going to charge $348 to change thermostat. Not happy with Hiller!!
