You may also get lucky enough to have so little attention paid to you that days after seeing him, you can go to urgent care with an infection AND then count on that lovely bedside manner to ridicule you for going somewhere else even though he didn't have an available appointment for at least a week. Maybe if you are getting a boob job or spending $20k on some sort of cosmetic surgery, he will care more about you. Had 2 of my wisdom teeth extracted here. I ended up in the ER days later battling for my life. I almost bled to death. I lost half my body's count of blood. I had to have 2 emergency surgeries just to stop the bleeding and ended up spending an additional 5 days in the hospital just so the doctors were sure I was stable enough to go home. Turns out my artery and nerve were lacerated during my oral teeth extraction. This office failed to tell me this. And Dr. Punjabi's response to all this? That nothing happened to me and that he doesn't understand "who was putting voices in my head." On top of that they made it extremely difficult for me to get my medical records when all I wanted was a second opinion from another doctor. They made me drive to their office multiple times and basically demanded I see Dr. Punjabi before releasing it. This whole thing has changed my life, I've had to cancel many of my plans and relocated due to it. If this is the kind of care you want for yourself or your loved ones then by all means go with this clinic. I am pursing a legal case against Dr. Punjabi. Dr. Punjabi did a mid face lift and fat graft to my face. After one month I went for a check up and mentioned to him that the scares were very noticeable he said that will disappear, have not!! The fat graft completely disappeared which I also mentioned to him and he said for 2,000 more he will inject more fat... what bothers me the most is how the scares turned out... judging by the size of the scares I can tell he was not very careful doing his job... do not recommend him... read more

MOMMY MAKEOVER ...... NOT WORTH IT......PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH, REVIEW BEFORE AND AFTER PICS. I have struggled for nearly 2 years on writing this review. I have decided to shortened it a great deal after reading other reviews that were similar to mine. I didn't feel it necessary to go in depth but to give an idea of what my expectations were and my results. I first want to say that I do believe that Dr. Punjabi is a good doctor. He showed concern towards the safety and well being of my health. I consulted with him amongst other doctors for a mommy makeover. I shared with him my concerns of being under anesthesia and he suggested why not break up my surgeries into 2 part. Breast first and Tummy Tuck 2nd. I had peace with that plan, put a deposit down and scheduled my surgery date. Breast were done October 2014. Tummy Tuck was combined with a medical procedure and coordinated with my gynecologist performed at Redlands Community Hospital in January. Breast were reduced with nipple replacement and I was happy about getting the reduction. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH: The butchering look of my scars. Again I did not expect perfection but I also wanted a surgical art look, this is what he advertises. My scars were not the best. My cleavage scar puckered with a piece of skin folding over on one side and both breast scars puckered at the sides (known as dog ears) I was told it would heal flat and look better over time... It mildly improved. My nipples were placed too high but I was happy that sensation returned to them as I was explained during the consultation that loosing feeling could be a side affect of the surgery. Tummy Tuck was performed 3 months after breast. Two things that I must say I love about my Tummy Tuck experience. #1 Dr. Punjabi DID NOT do the initial incision. I was very pleased with the scar placement. It was cut with so much precision and looks nothing like my breast scars. #2 My muscle tightening was nicely done. I'm not sure if my gynecologist did this or Dr. Punjabi. However Dr.Punjabi did close the incision and this is where I see similar puckers of skin at each side. Again dog ears. He said as it heals, if it did not lay, he could just snip it off during an in office procedure. Long story short. I still have all of these puckers. The one in my cleavage remains but the right side of my hip is the worst. The Tummy Tuck dog ears is what brings tears to my eyes. The over hang is just awful. Dr. Punjabi was paid over 25k for a mommy makeover including lipo and never performed it on me. At my post op appointment I mentioned the roll of back fat that was left and he looked at me and said loose weight! He went on to say that he would hate to have to charge me for any revisions. I was mortified by his response but I accepted his challenge and lost weight and guess what, the back roll that should have been liposuction during my breast surgery if not addressed during my TT remained. He had 2 opportunities to perform liposuction but chose not to. My tummy was never flat and I still have bra rolls. It is truly disheartening to have spent all that money and not have the results to back it up. This is my personal experience and review of the service and results I received from Dr. Punjabi. Although I think he is a good doctor, I would NOT recommend him as a cosmetic surgeon. I believe that cosmetic surgery comes with risks like any other surgery, however you have a different set of expectations for the appearance of the work that is being performed. With plastic surgery it is totally normal to be happy with the attempt to improve an area of the body but for the flaws to overshadow the final results. In my experience that is the case. read more

If only the awful businesses could get 0 stars, and graded. I would give them an F. I don't know how he stays in business with his holier than thou attitude. Everyone is created equal, but Anil Punjabi, believes he's above everyone else. He doesn't say it, but his lack of consideration, his curt comments, and blatantly rude actions show his true colors. I need implants, and when it comes to returning calls; he is completely incompetent. My last oral surgery; I was treated like garbage. When it came time to place the screws. It took him 2 months to call me back. When I asked him why, I was brushed off, and I didn't get an explanation either. I should have gone somewhere else but I stayed on as his patient. Looking for another oral surgeon is such a daunting task. Then, I had to have a sinus lift, and I had to be sedated. I hate needles, but it had to be done. The worst of it was Dr. Punjabi's, smart alec comments. When he was digging in my arm looking for the vein, I said that it hurt; he said that it's only a small needle. I told him that a needle is a needle, and he wasn't digging in my arm for gold. I told him that he was the professional. Either find the vein, or I'm leaving; is what I said. Eventually, he did. But wow! He must feel so superior to be so cold. I don't know who he thinks he is, but to me he's an awful doctor with no heart, and no decency. You don't treat patients that way!! His poor bedside manner, and inability to return calls will put him out of business. Last but certainly not least. I need another implant in my mouth. 3 weeks ago I was in Dr. Punjabi's office for a follow up Appt to check on the upper left side of my mouth. 3 weeks ago the doctor said that he would call my dentist, and inform him how to proceed with my treatment plan. It's been almost 4 weeks, and has Dr. Punjabi, called my dentist?? No he hasn't. When I called the office and spoke to one nurse, she said that Dr. Punjabi would be in at 10am, and she would ask him and get back to me. Did the nurse get back to me? She sure didn't. I bet that incompetence is contagious in that office, because almost everyone there is severely deficient in returning phone calls. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. One girl there, I can't remember her name, she has a daughter that is 6 or 7, and her daughter would only wear rain boots to school. Anyways, this nurse I just spoke about with the daughter, you are nice, and it's too bad your coworkers suck at their jobs. The last and final straws were twofold. Last week I called Dr. Punjabi's office, again!! Tina, answered the phone and I asked her why I hadn't heard back. I asked if it was because I hadn't spent enough money. She raised her voice, and said that they have been busy. She said that they had seen 50 patients the previous day, and that was the excuse. I could care less how many patients you see or don't see. It sounds like the person making appointments can't do their job. It's not my problem, and it's been almost 4 weeks. My dentist hasn't heard from the doctor; is everyone there just slow?? Maybe using the phone is too difficult a task for anyone at that office. Who does the doctor think he is, acting so rude. The last and final crime Dr. Punjabi committed was towards me, and my dentists' office. I called my dentist to see if Dr. Punjabi called them, my dentist hadn't heard from them. My dentists office called Dr. Punjabi's office, because I was having some pain. My dentist thought that they would get some answers if they called Dr. Punjabi, and asked them about my treatment plan. And again, even they were dismissed and they got no answers. Again, Dr. Punjabi was busy, and he would call them back when he could. Just when you thought there might be a hint of decency, Dr. Punjabi's incompetence, and lack of decency shine thru. He's the worst of the worst. Don't go here!! I hope my review leads to the closing of his office, and all his patients leaving. Other words I have will get this review removed, and I won't let that happen. Treating patients like they are inferior, condescending comments, and poor bedside manner are bad qualities. Just because you have a license to practice medicine, it doesn't make you a good doctor. You are not a good doctor Dr. Punjabi, and the worse of the worst. You aren't above anyone, and patients matter. If you treat them like dirt, then you won't succeed. I hope after people read this, you don't succeed. Learn some manners, and try to be a decent human being. read more

My wife was referred here for upper teeth extractions. First the office is not considerate of schedules, I have a small business and generally need Morning appointments. When I called I spoke with "Tina" I was told that the office was "full" and we would not be given a Morning appointment. I was further told that the only reason we were being seen there is that we had a referral. We went along with them although disappointed that they were not willing to work with us. Like every other Medical Professional we deal with. At the consultation we met the Dr and office staff. Even though when they made the apt for the consultation they said my wife's Surgery would be that Friday they went ahead to schedule the appointment for the surgery for the following week in the middle of a Friday afternoon. Regardless of us explaining about our business and almost begging for a Morning appointment. After some negotiation the surgery was scheduled for 12:00PM on Friday following week. The day before the surgery we got a call from Tina requesting to change our Apt to 1:00PM(I have kept this phone message). I called back on Friday the day of the surgery and firmly explained we needed to keep our 12;00PM Appointment. We were asked to come 15 to 30 minutes early. We arrived for surgery at 11:35AM. We were greeted and asked to wait. At 12:40 we were still sitting waiting. No one said a word to us in the over a hour we sat there. Finally it became apparent we were upset and things promptly got worse. Tina tried to tell us our appointment was 12:30 this was a patent lie as she was involved in a protracted conversation with us the week before about our concerns regarding apt times. A nurse named Ramona opened the waiting room door just to engage in a staring contest with both my wife and I when she really had no business even opening the waiting room door. This office seemed to do everything they could to make us feel unwelcome. Lesson learned go someplace else when a office tells you they are "full" and basically doing you a favor by honoring a referral. read more

Dr. Punjabi did an amazing job removing our son's wisdom teeth. We knew of him because he has an excellent reputation as a Plastic Surgeon and we felt very fortunate to have someone so experienced take care of our son. He had four impacted wisdom teeth and had had sinus issues for the past few year. His procedure could not have gone better and his healing was smooth sailing. Anil Punjabi, M.D. removed a basal cell carcinoma lesion on the right side of my face - on my upper cheek near my eye. I was told prior to the procedure that the lesion would be taken across the street to Redlands Community Hospital to the pathology department to ensure that the margins were clear - that all of the cancer was removed. This did not happen. Dr. Punjabi completed the procedure without ensuring that the margins were clear and closed the wound with stitches. A week or so later, the pathology results proved that the margins were not clear and that the cancer was still present on my face. Dr. Punjabi told me that through the healing process, the cancer would be cured, that there was a high probability (he quoted about a 95% chance) that this would be the case. I expressed my concern that the cancer was still present. Several months later, I went to a Dermatologist in San Bernardino to remove some skin concerns on my face with CO2. During this appointment, the PA directed her attention quickly and solely on the scar on my face. It caught me off guard because I was not there to check on the scar but rather the other minor skin concerns. I underwent a Mohs surgery and a sizeable chunk of flesh was removed from my face - the same location where Dr. Punjabi removed the lesion. The surgeon took 3 attempts to clear the margins. Again, the removal of flesh was sizeable. I am disappointed and very concerned that Dr. Punjabi removed a lesion off of my face, and closed the wound, without ensuring that the margins were clear - that the site was free of cancer. As a result of my experience with Dr. Punjabi, I would not recommend him at all as a physician. read more

I a big "yelper" in the sense that I read reviews on most everything before making a decision. That being said I often don't write reviews. I was so pleased with the facility, staff and my results that this time I had to. The inside of the facility is very clean with a modern look. When I arrived I was greeted by wonderful staff and had virtually no wait time. I met with Trish for my first ever round of Botox. (She is AMAZING!!). Before the procedure Trish explained the possible discomfort, the procedure itself, and any possible side effects. She did the injections at my pace, and the whole time she was asking if I was ok. I took comfort in this since it was my first time. She didn't inject all the sites I was asking for, explaining that it might produce an unwanted look. This is my face an I am happy that she told me the truth rather than just inject wherever I ask to make more money. It has been a little over 2 weeks since the procedure and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Punjabi probably saved my leg and possibly saved my life! My lower leg had been injected with an unknown substance when I was a teenager, and 20 years later, a small cut caused a major infection. Each time I write a review it is taken down. I had a breast reduction done by Anil Punjabi. I am more than disappointed and sad by the results. Dr. Punjabi and his nurses will tell you, "your breasts are sisters not twins".. Well after surgery mine are scarred, indented, areolas are not round or the same size and my tits are cross-eyed sisters then.. While my breasts are smaller, they are loppy, concaved, uneven, and embarrassing. After 2 years, I still can not take my top off in front of my husband.. Dr. Punjabi said, "well I did the best I could do" really.. really.. He told me he did over 500 breast reductions.. WHAT.. Hope this helps other women before it is deleted.. read more
