This is a review specifically for the office personal Avely Garcia. She was horribly unprofessional…read moreand rude to me and makes the whole office look bad. First, she failed to notify me before my appointment that they hadn't received pre auth. A few minutes before my appointment, she told me to call my doctor and get it for her or I can come back another time. She agreed that the staff should have done that before hand but didnt take ownership and call herself. I told her I've taken off a whole day off work for this and should have been notified in advance if they didnt get the information needed. She said I can be seen and just pay my copay and then get my doctor to date it for today and I wouldnt be responsible for anything other than my copay. I asked her if I can have in writing that I am only responsible for my copay. She muttered "unbelievable" under her breath and did a big eye roll. Said yes, she'll put it in writing that I dont owe anything other than the copay. I waited patiently for her to write it and then she rudely waived me away and said she'd do it in a minute. So then I'm seen. The med assistant and doctor were very nice. I come out to pay and ask for the note. Different office staff writes me a note staying I am personally responsible for the entire bill regardless of if insurance pays for it. I said no, the other office staff said she wrote me a note saying that I am only responsible for my portion, not out of pocket fees, since they didnt notify me that they didnt get the pre auth and that I wouldn't have been seen otherwise. She tells me to go talk to her. So I go back out to the full waiting room and ask Miss Garcia for the note. She starts denying that she ever said she would give me a note. She condescendingly tells me Im an adult and need to take care of pre auth myself (even though she already admitted to me it was their fault not getting the pre auth ahead of time). She then raises her voice at me and is like "you want a note!? fine heres your note!" Starts angrily scribbly something on a receipt paper and shoves her scribbles at me. I calmly tell her I can't read her writing, what does it say. She combatively says im not reading it to you. I said please I can't read your writing what does it say. She stars back at me full mean girl expression not answering me. I said you're being very unprofessional to me please tell me what it says. Then she starts shouting at me you want me to pay your copay for you?? Fine ill pay your copay for you myself! I'll pay your copay for you myself!" over and over. I'm standing there speechless in a completely full waiting room embarrassed for this person and frustrating to 100%. Another staff person comes out because Miss Garcia was making such a scene and calls me back in the hallway. Makes me stand in line for a fourth time now just to tell me she wont be giving me a note. I had to have someone else read Miss Garcia's hand written note and it says "I Avely Garcia PT is aware that an auth is needed to be seen. If auth not levied pt is aware insurance will not pay. I did not tell ps she is not responsible. This is in her ins she should know her benefits." So Miss Garcia lied directly to my face twice, shouted at me multiple times, waisted hours of my time while I tried to do her job making calls and doubled down on her bad behavior when I gave her multiple opportunities to make it right. Additionally, I received my confirmation email for my second appointment and she booked me at a location over an hour away instead of the same location which is where I'm being seen. Just all around incredibly rude, unnecessary, and incompetent front office staff.

Dr Kabel review…read more Everyone in this office are so kind and thoughtful. Dr Kable in particular was very impressive. She was extremely competent & thorough (as one would expect) but what surprised me most was her incredible empathy and "EQ". She takes time to share how she develops her diagnosis, which is crucial to the informed patient. The root of "doctor" is the Latin word docēre which means "to teach"....and Dr Kable exemplifies the very best attributes of a caregiver in whom anyone would be comfortable placing their full confidence.

Like with any doctor or dentist I feel there needs to be a partnership where the doctor and patient…read morework together. When this doesn't exist I find the physician will just do the basic checks, write a prescription and send the patient on their way. Total time with the physician ends up being 10 minutes or less. I once had a physician like this and after the third visit I informed him I would not return and why. I'm thankful to say Dr. Ghazi respects and encourages the doctor/patient partnership. I've been a patient of Dr. Ghazi for the past ~18 months and have nothing but good things to share. Whenever I have an appointment she is on time and allocates time to listen to me as I discuss how things are going. I am pleased with our results to date. My allergies are well controlled with minimal amount of meds. Having gone through 'immunotherapy' (allergy shots) a couple times in a previous life with 2 different allergists I was not looking forward to repeating it upon moving to Dallas. To her credit Dr. Ghazi has not pushed me to repeat them. Instead we are monitoring my allergies and will adjust our plan according to how I do. How about that? No mandate to complete another course of immunotherapy. I am super appreciative of this approach. And if that isn't enough, when I first began visiting Dr. Ghazi, she informed me the goal was to reduce my allergy meds to the bare minimum and if possible to completely eliminate them. While I'm not down to zero, I am taking a lesser amount with a much lower dosage. I love a doctor who is NOT a pill pusher. Dr. Ghazi is very respectful of her patient's time. She (and the office staff) are punctual. And she accomplishes this while still spending the required time to communicate with her patients. Whenever I have an appointment for a specific issue (mostly a sinus infection; I've dealt with chronic infections for many years) she asks questions to identify a course of action. Sometimes it results in antibiotic and other times it's to continue the course I am already taking without any additional prescription meds. If you're looking for an allergy specialist you can stop your search. Dr. Ghazi is the doctor for you.

I have suffered for years (over 25) from awful allergies. And for years they were misdiagnosed…read more Although I did have an allergist, and he was very good, Dr. Ghazi came to my attention, and I am SO glad. Within minutes of walking into her office for a consult, she told me immediately several things that were wrong, got me on the right prescriptions and more than, literally fought my with insurance company to get me specialty injections that have completed renewed my health. While I am not 100 firing on thrusters yet, we're getting there. She and her staff are extremely professional, yet kind and supportive. I think she is literally one of the best doctors I've ever been to. I simply cannot recommend her enough. You have allergies - go see her!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wakwaya's for going on a year soon and have never been more thankful…read morefor being admitted to being a patient!! Dr. Wakwaya is very knowledgeable, thorough, and has really helped educate me and my family on my health and longterm plans. He was able to work with my other teams of doctors to determine an extremely rare diagnosis. But also, the entire staff there is absolutely darling. I know that I can call or email Erin or Christina any questions and they're very responsive, and if for some reason they're going to be out they provide easy instructions for getting in contact with others on the team that can help. Dr. Wakwaya's patient rooms nurse also so kind and will inform you of any vaccines that they have that are recommended for my condition (such as boosters) and it has really helped me stay ahead of any respiratory illness! The respiratory therapy team is HILARIOUS. I think I've seen at least 3 now throughout the various types of tests and they sure know how to make weird breathing tests entertaining and easy! I've had breathing tests elsewhere many times and sometimes they can be super laboring to the point I want to cry, but the only tears I'm shedding with y'all are tears of laughter. The vitals team, always so friendly and helpful with directing you through the patient itinerary! Phlebotomy, another joyous bunch, they've made me so comfortable, I trust their steady hands! I'm to the point where I can even watch them do it, couldn't do they before and I had had dozens if not hundreds of blood draws before! The check-in crew, talk about an operation! We as patients sometimes have really long back to back appointments and somehow y'all keep track of us and make sure we're getting to where we need to be. Thank you, it can be confusing for us sometimes! I don't want to assume, but as a patient it really feels like everyone likes working there or if they don't, we as patients sure don't know it! Anyway, I've seen over a hundred doctors in my young life and this practice is the MVP. No disrespect to any of my other fabulous doctors either because I do have insanely amazing other doctors too! Y'all are just THAT good and go THAT much above and beyond, I am so very thankful!!! Thank you!

This clinic is terrible. Communication is all but nonexistent. My mom has to go there by ambulance…read moredue to tracheostomy, vent and O2 support. She's supposed to have monthly appointments working toward decannulation. This year, she has missed four already. In one case, she had a gastric bleed and had to be hospitalized for two weeks that stretched across an upcoming appointment. Her pulmonologist is resident at that hospital and was seeing patients while she was there, so we requested well in advance that he see her at her ICU room. The request was never communicated to the doctor, so we missed that month's appointment. Then we discovered that he was taking the entire next month off for his honeymoon out of the country. We resumed two months later, but the following appointment was screwed up when the scheduler, who gave us the appointment card with time and date at that previous appointment, failed to actually schedule it. We arrived by ambulance only to be told that the mistake was theirs but that it could not be corrected because the doctor was booked solid. Two months after that, the doctor had told us that he wanted to see her in two weeks so that we could move forward with decannulation, but the soonest the office could manage was three weeks. The day before the appointment, we received a voicemail just before 6pm (with the appointment being first thing the next morning) from his assistant inexplicably canceling the appointment. It appears that she had failed to follow up on an order for speech therapy before the appointment and was responding to her own error. Oh, and then the next morning we got a text message saying WE had missed the appointment. We tried the rest of the week to get someone to get back with us for an explanation and the replacement appointment. We finally got through the next week to be told that the month was booked solid and that it would have to be some five weeks later in the following month - again, two months after the last appointment. We like the doctor, but the clinic is a train wreck. Calls don't get returned for a week or longer when they even are returned at all (most are not). As often as not, the communication when someone is reached by phone is rushed and tense. This is destroying my mom's health because the trach has been an ongoing source of infection, left in place even though she has been on the absolute minimum vent settings for five months. The existence of the trach means she has to be fed through a PEG tube, which in turn prevents us from switching her from hemodialysis, which is quite hard on the body, to vastly easier and safer peritoneal dialysis. Her doctor is worthy of four stars. The clinic gets one star because I can't give it zero.

Extremely unprofessional! I was hung up on 4 times today after 2 weeks of calling and leaving…read morevoicemails, never receiving a call back. I cannot speak to the friendliness and professionalism of the doctors themselves, but the staff has proven to be beyond unprofessional from: not answering phone calls, not returning voicemails, not possessing a professional/friendly tone, and lack of competence. In my last attempt to seek care from someone in their office I spoke with Daisy, she was friendly and helpful in taking my information and promising a call back tomorrow.
