Incredibly nice people with very, very, very reasonable prices. They tell you what you need and don't try to overcharge for a bunch of gobility-gook. Example: I paid $100 for a cat dental - and that included medicine for aftercare. In town (Terre Haute) I got a quote from a vet and it was $800!!! Sullivan was $345. That's more than I pay for my own teeth cleaning. I wish I had known about this clinic years ago. read more

I called and they told me to be there by 3. I was there @ 2:30. I went in and told them my dog was dying, she had labored breathing and was like having a hard time moving. Receptionist came out and looked at her and said ahe would get doctor to come see her but didnt think she was dying. W sat there for 3 1/2 hours in the car watching my dog gasp for air. I went back in twice aski g cor immediate help. Was told gotta wait my turn. Multiple dogs came pouncing out healthy. Meanwhile my dog died in the back of my car waiting foe their help. It was so tramatic they didnt help for almost 3 hours. She suffered a horrible death and all we wanted wad her put dowm because we knew she was dying. She suffered horribly while they took in atleast 20 healtjy happy dogs. I am still traumatized over this and heartbroken i couldnt get her help no matter how hard i tried. Then the vet says he didnt know she had labored breathing. I have never been so ANGRY AND HEARTBROKEN in my life. Horrible horrible care for my dog. Its like theybdidnt care she was suffering. I told the vet after. IF THEY WOULD OF TOLD ALL THE OTHER 20NPEOPLE WAITING THAT MY DOG WAS DYING OR SUFFERING. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WOULD HAVE TOLD THEM TO LOOK AT HER FIRST. went to this vet to put our dog down and they made a traumatizing event 100 times worse! There is blood splattered all over the floors, open needle containers sitting on the floor, bloody gloves and rags in trash cans, and so much more. While we were putting him down, they didn't even have the decency to shut the door. While it was happening, the nurses at the front desk were all talking extremely loud and making vulgar/inappropriate jokes while cussing and cackling. The doctor said some very concerning things about past patients and how he has done things wrong. He kept sticking in and pulling out a needle from my dogs arm and he seemed like he had no idea what he was doing! If you want a sanitary, kind, and welcoming environment then I do not suggest coming here. read more

I was so desperate to have my two year old 'Angel of a' cat, Vega seen last Friday. He has been sick, treated prior somewhere else, but going downhill again pretty quick. My usual go to is the U of I Emergency Clinic in Champaign. They are amazing and have saved a couple of my animals in the past. However, they are expensive. If I had another option, I was keeping an open mind. We were a walk-in and although some people may think it's a long wait, I would have sat there for 12 hours, happily, just to be seen. I think our wait was less than two hours. I've waited longer at appointments of my own many times before, and this was for one of my fur babies. They are like children to me. Their staff is SO FRIENDLY, knowledgable, and compassionate. The Dr was just as amazing! Their prices as so reasonable, I was shocked. Here we are three days later and my cat is on the mend again. We probably have a long way to go, but literally, I was able to stop crying and couldn't be more grateful he is feeling better. I highly recommend this Clinic. I love this place! Doc Boyer is wonderful with my pets. He does a LOT of work for our local rescue. He has also helped me with spay/neuter cat colonies in the past. I switched from Casey years ago, because I had an emergency situation, and Casey was on vacation and couldn't even give me a referral. Doctor Boyer saved my cats life. Been going there ever since. Too bad I can't give Boyer negative stars. I switched vets because he never showed a lot of care, but now, when a beloved pet was at her end, he yelled at me and said, 'I'm so damn tired of everybody calling me." Boyer does not want business, but, of course, he'll always get farm business. He should stick to that because he has no forethought, doesn't care about pets, and should have retired years ago. Amazing. I had the unfortunate duty of having a dear pet put to sleep. Everyone at the clinic was so caring, compassionate & wonderful. We even received a sympathy card from them a couple days later. The staff and facility are fantastic. Clean work spaces and friendly care offers everything I've expected from a veterinary facility.
