Last week I took my cat to get spayed and I'm not sure why I didn't listen to my gut when I had an uneasy feeling about leaving her here. Because it is a low cost type of operation, it's apparent that they cut corners at the expense of the benefit of the pet. They used a gut stitch in my cats wound which was meant to hold all three layers of tissue together rather than suturing each individual layer. The lady at the front desk told me I really needed to get an e-collar because they have had a lot of cases where the cats have come back and ended up dying or needing to be euthanized because they pulled their stitches out and their guts fell out. That is a direct quote! Why that did not make me run for the door, I don't know. I trusted the reviews online. That ended up being a lie too. I posted this exact same review on their Facebook page and they deleted it because they didn't want the truth to be out there. Nothing I said was untrue and I have a receipt to prove it. Regardless, I trusted the reviews and thought maybe they had a different technique that I was just not accustomed to. I have had many cats and never once have had to get external stitches for spay that required a return visit to remove them. I was a little stunned that this information because I was not even aware that technique existed. After a couple of days my cat's tummy begin getting irritated because apparently this type of stitch is highly reactive to the skin, which encourages irritation. The lower stitch got pulled out and it was gaping and seeping. With the type of stitch that they used, and the fact that no underlying stitches had been made to secure the under layers of her musculature, there was nothing protecting her. She began acting lethargic and shaky because she had a fever. I knew that I needed to get her checked out immediately but I refused to take her back to the same vet who put her in this condition to begin with. And yes for anyone wondering I got her a cone, and inflatable collar, and she still managed to get a stitch out. The stitches were cheap and encouraging her skin to break out and get irritated. I took her down the road to Guardian Animal Hospital and that doctor saved her life. She gave her a shot of antibiotics, pain medicine, Betadine wash, and had to staple her belly. And she removed the ill performed stitches. She was like a brand new cat! For every cat that I have ever owned I have taken them to a low-cost spay and neuter clinic. However not all low cost centers are the same. I have had wonderfully perfect results with the other facilities I have taken my cat's to. However, they have been an other states with higher regulations. This surgery was a hack job. They cut corners used irritating stitches and did a quick wound closure as opposed to a thorough more safe technique. And to my previous point about the lady telling me that the cats guts could fall out, if this has happened so many times that you have to warn your patients owners about this, that would be a clue they need to rethink their technique procedure! Also I have a relatively small cat, and they charged me an extra $30 because she was considered obese. That is such a ripoff and excuse to make more money. I have never had a vet charge me extra because my cat was obese, especially when my cat is not obese! When I asked why it was charged and why they consider her obese the lady giggled and said you'll have to ask the doctor. I do not trust this facility for low-cost spay and neuter.. if you love your pet you would not either.

The…read morelocation on this Yelp listing is different, but the phone number is the same so I'm writing my review here. Anyhow, the Facility is NEW and totally state of the art! The waiting room is HUGE and there are at least 5 exam rooms...cuts down on waiting time! The staff is so nice and seem very skilled and seem to absolutely love their jobs, their facility, and their boss. I've heard the owner/Vet is the "nicest guy in the world". :-) Anyhow, they have a great facility and do all types of small animals and seem to be very honest and hard-working...and really care about animals. I was absolutely thrilled with this place and the people who work there. EDIT -- Oh my gosh! Carrie at the front desk/answering phones did an amazing thing for me! I was traveling and left on my trip and realized 2 hours into the trip that I had forgotten my doggie daughter's medicine. Carrie went above and beyond and got a prescription called in to a Walmart that I was about to drive past -- only 5 minutes off of the interstate -- and I got the medicine and went on my way!!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT??!!! This is truly a vet clinic that cares about their patients and customer service!!!! THANK YOU CARRIE!!!! On September 9, 2026, my mother and I brought her 36lb dog, Roxy, to be put down. This was already a devastating day for our family, as we had just lost my father one month prior. While the initial setup in the room was gentle, the clinic's standard business practices completely shattered any sense of compassion. After the staff administered the first sedative injection to relax Roxy, my mother was on the floor crying, holding her dying best friend, and waiting for the final injection to stop her heart. At that exact, vulnerable moment, a staff member walked in and demanded payment. When I questioned the timing, the employee smiled and stated it was required before they could proceed. They literally held back the final, merciful injection until they ran my credit card for $80. When I spoke to the manager about how cruel and inappropriate this timing was, I was told it was simply "standard procedure." Instead of apologizing or de-escalating the situation, the manager became defensive. She ordered her staff to stop making the promised paw prints, nose prints, and hair keepsakes. Roxy was quickly wrapped up and walked out to our car, where the employee rudely stood there with a smirk, repeating that it was just their "standard procedure." To make matters worse, my grieving mother just received a letter terminating her as a client, claiming they need an environment where staff can provide care "respectfully and effectively." The irony is staggering. If this clinic is so desperate for an $80 payment that they must interrupt a family mid-euthanasia, they need to collect the money at the front desk before anyone ever enters a room. Forcing a grieving owner to handle a financial transaction while sitting on the floor with a sedated, dying pet is disgusting. The management here lacks basic human empathy and accountability. Take your beloved pets somewhere that actually respects the sanctity of their final moments.
